(b) Providing PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations up to ground level all as specified and directed. Material & labour for earthing with Copper earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25metre below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connections by using copper strip of size 20X3 mm as earthing lead (upto the body of the equipment) by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron and thimbles and protected by light grade 40mm dia GI pipe connected to main switch board or main control board and GI pipe medium grade 20mm bore for watering and including funnel , wire mesh , RCC pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, including excavation and earth work in any type of soil , returning , filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 5 of SSR 1991(Part-I) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing earth continuity conductor or main earth lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chess or buried in ground drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to the pole or any other situation for loop earthing etc as required 20x3mm copper strip all as specified and directed.

(b) Any other parts/items not specified abaove but have been considered essential for smooth and safe functioning of the compact VCB system shall be included in the items and are covered against the quoted rate. (c) The installation & testing shall be carried out by service engineer of manufacturer of VCB only. (d) All the instrucments and T&P required for the above jobs shall be arranged by the contractor at site and cost of the deemed to be included in the above rates.

M&L for cable route indicators comprising of cast iron disc 100mm & 3 mm thick with angle iron 25x25x3mm & 30 cm long with GI bolt & nut embedded in the ground in route of the cable in PCC 1:3:6 complete all as specified and directed
