Cement concrete of specified grades at alllocations & depths for the following works usinggraded stone aggregate of 20mm maximum sizeincluding necessary form work, machine mixing,transporting, placing in position consolidation,finishing, curing etc. complete all as perspecifications, drawings & as directed by theEngineer in Charge. Note:Nominal reinforcement if provided shall be measured & paid under relevent item.

Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-30 infoundation, plinth & superstructure for all type of Structural/ RCC elements conforming to IS456-2000 , IS 3370 (latest) and IS 13290-2002using 20mm. maximum size down graded stoneaggregate including machine mixing, conveying,placing in position, mechanical consolidation,finishing, curing etc. complete as perspecifications and drawings for the followingetc. complete as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Notes for reinforced cement concrete. a) Cement for structural works shall beOPC/PPC ISI marked and duly approved bythe Engineer-in-chargeb) PPC/blended cement of ISI marked shallonly be used for finishing works on priorapproval of Engineer-in-charge c) All RCC work shall be controlled concreteunless otherwise specified and shall becarried out strictly in accordance with thedrawings and specifications.d)The rates for RCC works shall be exclusiveof cost of reinforcement and form work unlessotherwise mentioned.e) All coarse aggregate to be of 20mm.maximum size & uniformly graded unlessotherwise mentioned.f) The minimum cement content for watertank shall not be less than 330 kg/cum andnot more than 400 kg/cum.g) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shallinclude the following without any extra cost tothe Department :i) Fixing at correct level and in properalignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipebends, hooks, puddle flange,other pipespecials and embeded parts etc. supplied by /through the dept.ii) Cut outs, nitshes, pockets, constructionjoints etc.h)Test for Concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000 and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor.

Extra for providing RMC (Ready Mixed Concrete)for all type of structural/ RCC elements &PCCworks confirming to IS 4926 (latest) in lieu ofconventional RCC items and PCC items supplied by approved RMC manufactures includingtransporting, pumping etc. as per instructions ofthe Engineer -in- Charge.Notes :- i) The contractor shall obtain prior approval forRMC manufacturer from Engineer in Chargein writing.ii) The rate shall apply for all levels andlocations including all type of structure etc.iii) Extra for RMC in lieu of conventional RCC andPCC of any grade mentioned elsewhere in shallbe measured and paid under this item
Providing, erecting, fixing in position striking /removing and cleaning steel / timber shuttering & centering for form work infoundation , plinth or tie beams,lift pits, cable trenches, electrical pits etc. atall locations for all geometrical shapes inplain,curved surfaces of structural / RCCelements including chamfers, splays, keys,wedges, props, rails, bracings, brackets,cutting holes for pipes etc., providing & applying approved form oil on all surfaces ofform work coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, allmaterials, labour etc. complete as per specifications drawings and as directed by theEngineer-in-charge. .a) Area of form work in contact with concreteshall only be measured for payment & stopboards for construction joints etc. will not bemeasured for payment.b) The rate for formwork shall include all type ofstructural/ RCC elements and all geometricalshapes including circular and any other curvedsurfaces..c) For double/ multi stage shuttering designcalculations and details / drawings for scaffolding shall be submitted by the contractor well inadvance. Prior written approval of form work shallbe obtained from Engineer in Charge, before commencement of work.
Reinforcement for RCC work includingsupplying, delivering, storing of variousdiameters as required at site of work includingloading, unloading, transporting, decoiling,straightening, cutting, bending, placing inposition at all locations & levels and bindingwith 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steelbinding wire including carrying out varioustests as required etc. all as per specifications,drawings & as directed by the Engineer incharge.Note:i)The cost of binding wire shall be borne bythe contractor and binding wire shall not bemeasured for payment.ii) Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating shall be carried out as per IS 13620:1993 latest edition .iii) The contractor shall obtain prior writtenapproval in advance from the Engineer inCharge for the factory for Fusion Bonded EpoxyCoating of reinforcement steel.

Disposing off the surplus excavated materialsby mechanical transport outside Anushaktinagar colony with all lifts, loading,unloading, as per specifications & as directedby the Engineer in Charge.Notes i) Voids @ 20% for soils and 50% for soft / hardrock shall be deducted from fully loaded truck measurements to arrive at the net quantity forpayment, in case direct measurement is not possible. ii) Royalty for excavation, transportation, dumping, filling for earthwork, debris,etc. including obtaining permission from statutory authority, if any shall be done by the contractor.
Providing and laying dry rubble stone hard coresoling of following consolidated thickness in subbase to floor and in plinth protection to requiredlevels and lines with first quality rubble, handset, well packed including providing and filling the interstices with smaller stone chips,of approved quality supplying & finishing / blinding thesurfaces with approved blinding quality murrum/ stone dust including watering,consolidation etc. all complete as per specification drawings & as directed by Engineerin Charge. Note:- The smaller stones for filling interstices and murrum/stone dust shall be supplied by the contractor. a) Stone supplied by the contractor

Cement pointing to random rubble masonrywall with cement mortar1:3 including rakingout joints, pointing neatly and finishing thejoints , curing, scaffolding etc. complete all asper specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying patent box type cementbased water proofing treatment of approvedagency for basement raft and vertical wall at alllevels & locations as per specification of the waterproofing agency including cleaning of surfaces,curing and testing the basement raft for watertightness, rectification of defects if any, etc.complete as per specification and drawing and asdirected by the Engineer-in-charge as per the following. Notes for waterproofing works: a) The contractor shall get written approval fromthe Engineer-in-charge, for the water proofing agency is engaged and shall submit thespecification of the waterproofing agency before commencement of work. b) The contractor shall test the surface wherewater proofing treatment provided for bone drycondition by filling up with water. No wet patches or leaks shall appear on the surrounding wall orunder side of the slab. c) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond onappropriate stamp paper in the proforma as perSection 10 (iii) of Condition & Clauses of Contract2008 for the entire waterproofing treatment formaintaining the surroundings and under sidesurfaces of the waterproofing treated area in bonedry condition for 10 years. During the guaranteeperiod the contractor shall attend all leakages,defects etc. if noticed, free of cost, starting thework of checking up and rectification within aweek's time from the date of intimation about suchleakages/ defects. d) The Contractor shall keep the water tank filledwith water after the water proofing work has beencompleted and shall clean it before handing over.At no time shall the water tank be kept empty.Testing for the bone dry condition for the waterproofing work carried out shall again be done,before handing over the flats, if found necessary by the Engineer- in-charge. a) Providing 50 mm to 70mm thick water proofingtreatment for base / floor consisting of :- i) 1st layer shahabad stone of approx. size600x600x20mm thick of approved quality, (roughstone slab) over a 25mm thick base of cementmortar 1:3 (1 cement:3 course sand) mixed withwaterproofing compound conforming to IS:2645 inthe recommended proportion. Joints sealed andgrouted with cement slurry mixed with waterproofing compound conforming to IS: 2645 inproportions recommended by the manufacturer. ii) 2nd layer of 25mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1cement : 3 coarse sand) mixed with waterproofing compound in recommended proportions. iii) Finishing top with stone aggregate of 10mm to12mm nominal size spreading@ 8cudm/sqmthoroughly embedded in the 2nd layer. b) Providing and laying integral cement basedtreatment for water proofing on the vertical surfaceby fixing shahabad stone of approx. size600x600x20mm thick of approved quality,(roughstone slab) with cement slurry mixed with waterproofing compound conforming to IS: 2645 inrecommended proportion with a gap of 20mm(minimum) between stone slabs and the receivingsurfaces and filling the gaps with neat cementslurry mixed with water proofing compound andfinishing the exterior stone slab with cementmortar1:4(1 cement: 4 coarse sand) 20mm thickwith neat cement punning mixed with waterproofing compound in recommended proportioncomplete at all levels and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Refer Additional Notes for Complete item description & scope of work for this SOQ item no. 14 of Part A.
Providing cement based waterproofingtreatment to the inside surface of water tank by giving injections to concrete bottom slab and walls as required with cement and approved waterproofing compound solution to fill up all inherent holes, voids, honeycombs etc. in concrete and treating the floor and walls withwaterproof mortar as per specifications ofspecialised waterproofing agencies, finishing with neat cement smooth with trowel in cement colour and testing of water tank by filling up with water as perspecifications etc. The thickness of treatment on the floor will be 50 mm and on the walls about 20mm all complete as per drawing, (Cement mortar 1:4 with waterproofing chemical @2% of cement) specificationand as directed by the Engineer in Charge
Cement plaster in single coat with cementmortar at all floors, heights, slopes andlocations on plain or curved surfaces including rounding wherever required including to preparethe surface even and smooth to correct line,level, plane and plumb including scaffolding,curing etc. complete as per specifications,drawings and as directed by the Engineer incharge Notes: a) Before commencement of plastering, the area shall be cleaned, wetted and shall bemarked with 'Thiyyas' or 'Tapanis' and shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge. b) Whenever the electrical contractor/ agencyhas to fix up switch boxes in walls, necessary Thiyyas or 'Dhadas' shall be arranged prior to plastering so that the electrical boxes are fixed properly in line with the finished plastered surfaces. c) Finishing around the junction boxes shall bedone at all floor, level and position to the line,level and right angles as required while carrying out plastering work. d) No extra claim/cement consumption shall be entertained by the department for the plastering done more than the specified thickness shown inthe schedule of quantities, to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, level and plumb with adjoining columns and beams.
6 mm. thick plaster in CM (1:4) for ceiling,exposed concrete surfaces, soffits of all slabs,coffered slab beams of all size & shapes on plain/curved surfaces including rounding whereverrequired, soffit of stair case waist slab etc.
15mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:4 mix for internal brick/concrete surfaces for all walls and beams flush with walls, mullions etc.
Sand faced external / internal cement plaster asspecified below in cement mortar 1:4 at all heights and locations including scaffolding,preparing the surfaces, finishing and renderingwith sponge to correct line, level and plumb,curing including making grooves, vatas, plasterfluting (plaster in steps) etc. wherever required, allcomplete as per specifications and drawings.
20 mm. thick in two coats for brick/concrete surfaces (back coat and finishing coat of 10 mm.thick each) to parapet and coping etc.
Extra for providing ready mixed plaster (RMP) inlieu of conventional plaster of thicknessmentioned below at all height and location insingle / two coats as per specifications ofapproved manufacturer like M/s. Ultratech Ltd. / M/s. Roofit including transporting, loading,unloading, mixing at site and apply as permanufacturer's specification all completelocations complete as per instructions ofEngineer-in-Charge. Notes:i) Ready mix plaster (RMP) is the replacement of conventional plaster ii)The cost towards scaffolding, curing, sponge finishing, neat cement finish, waterprofing agent / bonding agent etc. shall be measured under the items of conventional plaster. iii) Ready mix plaster (RMP) shall be measured in addition to the regular plaster items.
Internal surfaces: '6mm thick plaster in cement mortar1:4 mix for ceiling /concrete surfaces
Internal surfaces: '15mm thick in single coat for internal brick / concrete surface
External surfaces: '20mm thick in two coats for external brick /concrete surface
Supplying, laying & fixing Copper Water stopper bar (1 mm thick, 200 mm wide with brazzed joints) of following size/make to correct level, grade & alignment between the joint of RCC walls of water tank including cleaning the construction joints of loose mortar & dust, applying primer as directed, unroll the water bar slowly & carefully on the joint without pulling & stretching it too much after the primer dries a little & became sticky or tying with the einforcement bars as directed all complete asper manufacturer's specification.
Copper Water stopper bar (1 mm thick, 200 mm wide with brazzed joints)
Supplying & fixing stainless steel grade 316pipes of any diameter, railings, embeded parts and spool pieces of required diameter havingflanged ends on both sides with flange hole asper IS, following or standard available length,providing 3D x 3D and 4 mm to 6 mm thickstainless steel puddle plate welded to it where Dis the outer diameter of pipe including cutting theplate to required shape and fixing in thereinforcement at the RCC wall/ slab includingcutting the form work provided for concrete atrequired level, height etc. complete all as perspecifications and as directed by theEngineer-in-charge.
Providing copolymer polypropylene steelreinforced plastic Foot-rests / Steps of Patelbrand or equivalent. as per ASTM D - 4101specification and moulded a 16 mm dia. IS - 1786grade Fe - 500 steel reinforcing bar and in "U"shape having dimensions 263 x 168 mm andfixing in concrete / wall as shown in the drawingand as directed all complete.
Structural steel work in frames, covers, usingangles, tees, flats, bars , chequered plates,inserts fabricated out of mild steel bars, ISMC,ISMB, ,angles, pipes , plates and diaphram plates for expansion joints etc. of all shapes, sizes including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding, erecting, making holes/chases wherever required and fixing/embedding in position in concrete/brick workwith necessary hold fasts/ screws & rawl plugs and finishing the concrete/ brick work afterfixing /embedding including painting two coatsof anticorrosive bitumastic paint on allunexposed surfaces and two coats of syntheticenamel paint of approved make and colour onall exposed surfaces over a coat of approvedsteel primer etc. complete as perspecifications, drawings and as directed bythe Engineer in charge.
Reinforced cement concrete of following grade in super structure conforming to IS 456-2000,IS 13920 atall floors and levels for all structural members inall geometrical shapes/ design as per drawingsusing graded stone aggregate of 20mm anddown graded including machine mixing,conveying, placing in position, mechanicalconsolidation, finishing, curing, etc. complete allas per drawings, specifications & as directed byEngineer in Charge.Super structure items included in this schedulepertains to all the works above plinth level uptoroof including parapets, water tanks,machineroom, terrace level works etc. unless specifiedotherwise.

Brick masonry in super structure at all floorsand locations using well burnt bricks fromapproved lots of class designation 3.5(classification as per IS 1077-1992 and min.average compressive strength not less than3.50 N/mm2 ) in CM 1:6 in 230mm walls tocorrect line, level and plumb including rakingout joints, curing, scaffolding etc. complete asper specifications, drawings & as directed byEngineer in Charge. Notes:- (a)The contractor shall get approved thesamples of bricks from the Engineer-In- Chargebefore procurement on large scale and shallmaintain the same for the entire work.b) Necessary Openings/nitches/cut-outs,wherever required as per drawings and askedfor by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall beprovided by the contractor without any extracost.c) One brick wall thickness shall be consideredas 230mm and half brick wall as 115 mm andlesser wall thickness if any shall be made up tothe required dimensions by the contractor in CM1:4 to proper line, level and plumb without anyextra cost to the Department.d) The rate shall include cost of making the brickmasonry to all geometrical shapes and sizeswithout any extra cost to the Department.
Cement Concrete 50 mm thick in flooring with metallic hardner toppingat all floors and locations, consisting of at all floors and locations, consisting of under layer of 38mm thick cement concrete in grade 1:2:4 with 12mm sizeaggregate and top layer 12mm thick metallic conrete hardner wearing surface, cement being mixed with metallic flooring hardner of approved make in proportion of 4:1 (4 Cement : 1 Metallic floor hardner) by weight and cement hardner compound mixed with 6mm down graded stone aggregate in the ratio of 1:2 by volume including form work, consolidation finishing to required level, slope curing including providing aluminium dividing strips of size 25 x 3 mm for panels of about 2 Sq.m size etc. complete as per specifications and drawings and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing & laying mirror polished machinecut and machine polished (pre polished) kotahstone for treads/ risers / steps etc asmentioned below, laid over cement mortarbedding/ backing, close jointed and pointedwith matching cement slurry and finished toline, level plumb etc. as required, includingcuring, cutting of stone slab, making cut outs,wherever required, wastage etc. to get truesquare edges and final hand polishing all asper specifications, drawings & as directed bythe Engineer in Charge. a) For treads 25mm uniform thick in singlepiece of 1200 mm length (approx.) laid over 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4sand) bedding, including providing factory cutthree Nos. of antiskid 5mm deep "V" shapedgrooves including moulding of the edges etc.complete .b) For risers 20mm thick in single piece of1200mm (approx.) length laid over 12mm thickcement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 sand) backing. iii) On top of RCC staircase railing includingrounding to semicircle to the exposededges,mirror polishing (pre-ploished at factory), making suitable grooves between plastersurface and kotah including providing suitablebrass pins at required length etc. all completeincluding laying over 12 mm thick cementmortar 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 sand) backing. Note :- i)The tread and risers are to be polished atfactory. The exact size are to be laid withoutany further cutting and polishing.ii) The grooves are to be cut at factory tomaintain the gap uniform. Non uniform groovesize and irregular gaps between grooves shallnot be accepted and rejected forthwithiii) The contractor is to take appropriate step toprotect the polishing surface of the tread andriser by providing and laying 6mm thich POPduring construction period. 'The surfaces areto be cleaned only at the time of handing over.
