SCHEDULE 'A' B/R Works

Excavation in post holes in soft/loose soil not exceeding 0.50 cum each, getting out, returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm including removing of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and making good the disturbed surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing Joist, channel, angle, or tee sections, fixed independently, without connecting plates, etc. (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated) as in fencing posts and similar work conforming to Fe-410W Gde E-250 quality B, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Supply only line wire mesh and nut bolts shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this schedule

Supply only galvanised mild steel chain link fencing, 4mm dia galvanised mild steel wire and mesh size 100mm x 100mm (spacing), complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The weight of chain link fencing shall be measured as per findings of BOO to be ordered and concured by Accepting Officer.

Supply & fixing mild steel 40mm x 6mm as in fencing post for security post with fencing wire mesh including drilling, boilting with required nuts, bolts of required length conforming to Fe-410 & Fe-310 (nuts & bolts to be measured separately), complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete, bed block, for embedded fencing posts, surface channel and drains & similar work etc including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exc. 10cm but not exceed 15cm long and diameter of neck 10mm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing 10mm dia round bar as in line wire for fixing chain link fencing confirming to IS-410-0 or 310-0 quality-A, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil including cutting of grass, roots, bushes if any and filling of lower portion with soil obtained from cutting and dressing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for hard core of broken stone or boulders of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour for 75mm thick cement concrete ( 1:4:8), type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing 60 mm thick (M35 grade) precast interlocking tile/paving block factory casted (made by using PVC paver mould / Rubber paver moulds on Vibrating Table Machine) using grey cement and pigment, prepolished & preglazed, shape haxagon / trigular / zigzag / I-shaped etc, as directed, prepolished & preglazed, specification as per relevant IS, having compressive strength not less than 350 Kg/ Sqcm, laid over sand upto required thick layer and filling the interstices etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : - (i) Sand for filling shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only but labour for spreding leveling shall be included in the unit rate of this item)

Supply only fine sand without silt (Fazilka/Zera or any other approved sources) for filling under interlocking tiles and the interstices etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping/packing around chequered tiles/interlocking tiles/PCC jalli & similar work etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc., complete drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering, doors etc., to be prepared for hanging, revolving or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive or steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging also fastening and fixing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling fencing wire mesh, any type, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section, including taking out embedded portion from concrete, brick work, masonry etc., dismantling of existing fencing of any type and making good disturbed ground, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness below or above ground level of any description and in any position including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, in any description including cleaning and stacking serviceable brick for re use and balance removing rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons, etc. (each layer), laid bedded and pointed in any mortar, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for old size bricks, sub class B laid flat in floors, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 as in drains, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for old size bricks, sub class B laid on edge in floors, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped end etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4), type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete, bed block, for embedded posts, coping, benching & similar work etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size bricks (old serviceable bricks obtained from demolition/dismantled item shall be reused ) straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing precast cement concrete type B-1 (1:2:4), 12.5mm graded aggregate as in louvers and jallies, 25mm thick (measured solid), including all mouldings but excluding frame, set in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices by brooming down with using broom/sand papering or by any other mean, washing down with water and applying two coats of cement base paint (one coat as a primary coat) as per approved tint/colour by using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster from brick wall etc including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
