M&L for demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar, including quoins, arches, pillars and precast concrete masonry, getting out materials, sorting and stacking serviceable materials and removing unserviceable materials, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brickwork with sub-class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius, as in half-brick thick walls, built in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brickwork with sub-class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6.00 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for taking down cement or cement-lime plaster of any description from brick or stone walls, including raking out joints, hacking for key and scrubbing down with water, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with approved waterproofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement on brick/stone masonry surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including scaffolding and work at any height/location, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement plaster 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on surfaces other than fair faces of brickwork or concrete, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 5 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 as on ceilings, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rough-cast plaster to external walls comprising undercoat of cement mortar 1:3 n less than 10 mm thick and, while in plastic state, applying rough-cast mixture consisting of crushed stone/fine gravel aggregate 6 mm to 12 mm mixed with coarse sand and cement in proportion 1:1:1, finished even, including preparation of surface and applying two coats of approved exterior emulsion/weatherproof paint, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing newly plastered wall surfaces and applying two coats of oil-bound distemper of approved shade/tint over and including one coat of suitable primer and 2 mm thick approved elastomeric wall-care putty, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old plastered wall surfaces including removal of mortar droppings, smoke, soot, mould, moss, efflorescent salts, oil/grease spots and other foreign matter by mechanical grinding/approved means and applying two coats of oil-bound distemper of approved shade/tint over and including 2 mm thick approved wall-care putty and one coat of suitable primer, complete all as specified and directed.
