SPECIAL REPAIR OF ROOF TRESTMENT TO BUILDING NO P-143 (OR LINE), P-144 (OR LINE), P-149 (OR MESS), P-150 (JCO MESS), P-152 (SINGLE LIVING JCO) ACCOMODATION OF HEADQUARTER SQUADRON 98 ARMOURED BRIGADE UNDER GE (N) PATIALA

Material and labour for repairs to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scouring sunken surfacesin roads, path etc cutting edges at least 25 mm depth and making good by applying tack coat with bitumen @ 5 kg/X Sqm, putting in premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 well rammed and sealed with binder @ 9.80 kg mixed with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3 mm size per 10 Sqm and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipings, depth of pot holes exe 30mm thick, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for providing and laying Premix Bituminous macadam ( consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) using paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30 @ and binder content of 4% by weight of total mix with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic paver finisher (Paver shall not be compulsory in case of patch work using B.M.) and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 504 MoRTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTES :(i). The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 4% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CI. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BM shall be worked out from Thapar Insti. of Engg & Tech Patiala/NIT Kurukhshetra /PEC Chandigarh/CTL for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the accepting officer for approval bfore commencement of work. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ 50/kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side.(ii) The BM shall be covered with top layer/wearing course within in a maximum of 48 hours. If their is to be any delay, by the contractor the course shall be covered by seal coat to the requirement of Clause 512 of MORTH (5th Rev) before opening to the traffic. The seal coat in such cases shall be considered incidental to the work and shall not be paid for separately.

Material and labour for preparing existing black top surface by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning to cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc from black top surface , Applying evenly a premix /tack coat with bitumen grade VG-10 @ 5.0 Kg per ten Sqm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for providing and laying Premix Bituminous asphaltic dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder ( using paving bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2, mixing of agrgregates with VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hyrdostatic paver finisher and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 507 MORTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(vi). The distance of the HMP shall not be more than 100 KM from the Mil Stn Patiala. Detail of plant to be submitted to GE for approval before date of commencement of the work. (vii). The calibration certificate for HMP shall be submittaed by the contractor for approval of GE before date of commencement of the work which should not be more than 06 months old. (viii). The minimum 2 Road roller each (vibrating and static road roller) are required at site before commencement of the work on the groung and the same shall be approved by GE before date of commencement of the work.

Supply and fixing road cat eyes of size 100mm x 100mm x 20 mm of metal body meeting with ASTM and MORTH standard with Yellow reflectors, yellow body colour and two sides lens including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note:- The stud shall be fixed to the road surface using adhesive and zinc plated nails conforming to IS as per manufacturer recommendations and as approved by GE

Supply and fixing in repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (light sensor 100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt on NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright 3 LED's of colour red/yellow on one side with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete all as as per manufacturers instructions etc and as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- The stud shall be fixed to the road surface using adhesive and zinc plated nails conforming to IS as per manufacturer recommendations and as approved by GE.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for cement concrete type C-1, 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub-floors,sub base, floors,and paving etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
