Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm depth exc 50mm and depth n. exc 100mm deep (Scarifying include racking over and grading the broken up surface to the proper camber etc. as required) and rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in filling by power roller exc 8 tonne & n exc 12 tonne capacity to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L soling of total 150 mm thick (of 75mm spread thick each of two layer) spread thickness (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone of size as per MoRTH specifications, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled with power roller of capacity exc 8 tonne n.exc 12 tonne and consolidated to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L laying and compacting total 150mm compacted thickness (laid in two layers of 75mm each) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with mechanical sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 8 to 12 tonne static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed. [Note : (i) The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013. (ii) Raw materials for work shall exclusively manufactured by latest calibrated WMM Plant. Valid Calibration Certificate of WMM Plant to be submitted to Engr-in-Charge before execution of work. No manual mixing of coarse aggregate are allowed. (iii) Stack measurement of WMM materials brought at site shall be entered in MB as "Not to be abstracted" before payment. (iv) Payment shall be made after submission of approved mixing qty of WMM materials from GE, Calibration Certificate of WMM Plant & Vibratory Roller Register.]
Preparing of surfaces of unsurfaced Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and M&L for applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.7-1.0 kg/sqm on surface of WMM / WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH Specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L premixed bituminous macadam over primed surface of road using paving bitumen VG-30, laid/rolled by 8 to 12 tonne capacity roller and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less including preparation of area before laying of macadam with mechanical paver), binder contents of premixed macadam shall be 4% by weight of total mix (Design Mix), complete all as specified and directed. [Note : (i) Work shall be executed after approval of design mix of bituminous macadam by GE. (ii) Calibration of Hot Mix Plant shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge for approval. (iii) Payment shall be made to Contractor after submission of approved design mix, Bitumen Extraction Report, Road Roller Register & Calibration Report. (iv) Exact qty of binder to be used shall be ascertain by design mix. (v) Minimum 4% of binder shall be used. However, in case more than 4% of binder content is required as per design mix, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to the dept.]
M&L applying 25mm thick mastic asphalt consisting of an intermate homogeneous mixture of mineral filler, well graded fine and coarse aggregate, industrial grade 85/25 bitumen meeting the requirement given in Table as mentioned in SSR Part-I, grade of bitumen as per IS : 73 of 2006 cooked at 170 degree to 200 degree centigrade laid hot trowelled and floated by means of wooden float laid, bitumen mastic after spreading and while still hot in plastic condition shall spread over with bituminous precoated fine aggregate of size 20mm @ 0.005 Cum per 10 Sqm mixed with 0.17 Kg per 10 Sqm of bitumen grade 85/25 industrial grade for anti skidding including all material, labour, tools and plants and including over tack coat of VG-10 grade bitumen conforming to IS : 73 @ 0.3 - 0.4 Kg/Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH Specification for Road & Bridge Works 2013 using mechanical sprayer over prepared base, as per Design mix IRC 107-2013, including preparation of bituminous macadam top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed. [Note : (i) Work shall be executed after approval of design mix of mastic asphalt by GE. (ii) Calibration of Hot Mix Plant shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge for approval. (iii) Payment shall be made to Contractor after submission of approved design mix, bitumen extraction report & calibration report. (iv) Exact qty of binder to be used shall be ascertain by design mix.]
S&F in repairs metal retro-reflective Tubular Delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 1010 mm height from GL / Road top level duly powder coated (minimum 40 micron) and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including supply and providing of embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150 x 150 x 300mm) type B1, complete all as specified and directed. [Note : Delineators shall be made from Class-I retro-reflective sheets in accordance with as per 1748.]
S&F in repairs sparkle Solar Road Studs unbreakable made out of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) materials and weather proof Aluminium Alloy shell di-cast housing mat finished anti twisted ribs on the bottom anchor of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (including shank 65mm) both side reflector, and solar battery 1.2V 1600 MA (Mi-Cd) rechargeable solar panel 0.3 W light source 6 pcs super bright LED with stem in replacement with automatic dark to dawn solar suit, view distance upto 10000 to 18000 mcd (milicandela), bearable weight 10 tonne (approx) with bright LEDs as light source complete with integrated battery, sensor optics and solar cell to ensure enerty saving stand along operations including one steel pipe of 8mm dia and 50mm long and 2 component epoxy (hardener & resin), quartz sand for fixing the road stud surface, complete all as specified and directed.
S&F in repairs for Cat Eye aluminium alloy body (Solar reflective type) two way reflective of minimum size 110mm x 120mm x 24 mm with aluminium alloy body with micro prismatic lens type technology with reflective lens to be fixed epoxy resin adhesive after cleaning the surface and reflective panels Amber/Red/White the help adhesive and screws, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L preparing bituminous surfaces of road by cleaning and preparing the road surface and making good the road marking location and marking / applying 2.5mm thick white or golden yellow reflective hot thermoplastic road marking paint (Hot application) for centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine through modern propelled road marking machine in a layer all as per manufacturers instruction and use of all ingredients such as binder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, interfiller thermoplastic required for glass beads per sqm by incorporating the white beads for reflectivity in 100 mm width, complete all as specified and directed.
Excavating over areas, n.exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in Soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.
Removing excavated material (soil) exc 50m but n.exc 250m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L total 400mm thick (in four layers of 100mm thick each) in pavings with mix of fly ash, clinker & stone dust in the proportion of 1:3:6 (i.e. 10% fly ash, 30% clinker and 60% stone dust) including watering, ramming and compacted with vibratory/ power roller at required camber and gradient, completed all as specified and directed. [Note :(i) rate shall be quoted by the bidders for four layers, 100mm each and measured as one composite layer of 400mm after rolling. M&L preparation of new surface of concrete or brick or kerb stone surfaces etc. of any description exc 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer, complete all as specified and directed.
