Surface excavation n. exc (not exceeding) 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soils not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exceeding 400Sqm exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling & consolidating formation surface in cutting/filling incl watering as required filling in hollows and depressions which occurs during the process of rolling using 8 to 12 tonne power roller all as specifed and directed complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WMM in two layers each of 75mm thick (each layer to be rolled and consolidated separately) confirming to the grading given in table 400-13 and physical requirement given in table 400-12 spread with mechanical means and rolled by using 8-10 ton vibratory power roller over compacted sub grade surface as specified in clause 406.3.5 of MORTH specification completed all as specified and directed.

M & L for Kankar or laterite incl shingle or gravel (GSB) , spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient 75mm thick and camber required all as specified and directed.

M&L for WBM 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) with coarse aggregate with lime stones, sand stones, flint or quartize of grading 2 (63mm to 45mm size) or grading (50 to 20mm size)spread rolled and consolidated with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 7 above but except stone. Note :- Serviceable stone aggregate obtain from respective item no 3 will be used.

M&L for repair to potholes any depth not exc 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surface in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5KG per 10 Sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Premix bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness upto maximum 75mm or less) binder content @ 4% ot total mix (Binder VG-30) rolled and compacted to required camber and gardient including rolling with 08 to 12 power roller complete, all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam /GSB top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirts etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 10 kg per 10sqm on WBM surface and preparation of surface complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying evenly priming /tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 5 kg per 10 Sqm of primer used on prepared black top surfaces complete all as specified.

M & L for bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5%. binder content by weight of total mix spread by means of self propelled mechanical spread/paver rolled with minimum capacity 12 tonne and compacted to required camber and grdient by using Tandem vibratory steel wheel static steel wheel and pneumatic tyre rollers min capacity 12 tonne complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

M & L for bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5%. binder content by weight of total mix spread by means of self propelled mechanical spread/paver rolled with minimum capacity 12 tonne and compacted to required camber and grdient by using Tandem vibratory steel wheel static steel wheel and pneumatic tyre rollers min capacity 12 tonne complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

S&F in replacement of road STUD (CAT eyes) of size 100x100x20mm made of polycarbonate with electronically welded prismatic retro- reflective lens panel of approved colour on both side for maximum retro reflection in wet and dry condition non breakable dust proof type fixed with epoxy chemical nails screws and clamps complete all as specified and directed.

M&L solar road stud of size 125x125x25mm made out of toughened aluminium alloy body with polycabonate top cover, IP 65 protection against water ingress, having 03 No super bright LED on each side, coloured reflective LED cover, in built rechargeable battery, solar panel, visibility upto 800 mtr automatically turns on at night and turns off at dawn, flashing for min 03 days once fully charge, suitable for night & adverse weather condition and fixed with epoxy chemical, cement and hardner, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying 2mm to 2.5mm thick road marking strips/lines/dashes/arrows/letters(retro-reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermosplatic material by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profiles shoes glass beads dispenser propane tank heater and profile shoes driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of materials labour etc on new/old road surface including T&P cleaning the road surface of all dirt seals, oil, grease and foreigh material etc complete all as specified and directed. Demolition of cement concrete in ground floor (unreinforced) and pavings including tiles etc, n exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed. Note (i) Length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment (ii) precast CC kerb shall be approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.)

M & L for painting of two coats synthetic enamel paint over kerb stone in white/yellow/black shade incl priming coat on new surface of concrete laid as per design approved by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for laying 25mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen meeting the requirement given in table 500-29 prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing finger grained hard stone chipping of 13.2mm nominal size at the approximate spacing of 10cm center to center in both sides directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surface is not less than 100 degree C, protruding 1mm to 4mm over mastic surfaces, all complete as per clause 515 of MoRTH specified of road & bridge (4th Revision) of 2001 latest edition incl preparation of surface, tack coat on surface with paving bitumen primer using cold emulsion @ 2.5 Kg/10Sqm complete all as specified and directed.
