Taking out old unserviceable rusted earthing material including test point of any type from the site by providing necessary excavation and making good disturbed surfaces to match with original status by filling , levelling etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out old unserviceable rusted strip of any type and size from the site by providing necessary excavation and making good disturbed surfaces to match with original status by filling , levelling etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for bore well earthing by drilling bore with bore machine for poles and other machinery / eqpt using GI pipe heavy duty 50 mm dia as earth electrode driven up to a minimum depth of 60 meters below ground level, duly made holes of 6 mm dia at 20 cm intervals, along with the length of GI pipe and providing the charcoal salt mixture incl GI pipe of150 mm dia light grade as protection upto depth of 12 meters and GI strip of 32x6 mm to connect the Test points or directly to the system and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:-(i)Material of earthing will be laid in borewell on the presence of Engr-in-Charge or his Rep.(ii)Earth strip of 32X6 mm size up to the length of 7.5 RM including porcelain insulator of suitable size or any other petty items required for fixing will deemed to be inclusive of quoted rates.Note:-Material of earthing will be laid in the trench of borewell on the presence of Engr-in-charge or his Rep.

M&L for renewal of plate earthing with galvanised mild steel plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (in earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides and incl GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm bolted (with GI nuts, bolts & check nuts) and riveted to earth plate electrode at one end and connected to metallic bodies of HT/LT equipments etc at the other, earth strip encased in and including 40mm bore GI medium grade pipe with all fittings from top of electrode to body of equipment fixed with and including 40 x 6mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade from bottom of earth pit to top of electrode complete with earth pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-O using 12 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, RCC cover, funnel, wire mesh including necessary excavation and earth work , etc.complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Pt-I.

Taking out old Unsv lightning protection system including Air termination rod, Aluminium strip , GI strip and earthing of any type complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply installation testing and commissioning of lightening protection system Early Streamer Emission (ESE) lightening protection Air terminal OPR (Optimized Pulse Rod) complies with NF C-17-102 standards complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make – ABB Model OPR-60 and equivalent in Alstom/OBLUM

Supply and fix stainless steel pipe of 50 mm mounting mast 2 m , 30 mm dia fabricated with support structure and guying kit provided with suitable mounting base plate having provision for fixing of optimised pulse rod and arrangement for down conductor of lightening protection system all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Make:- Cat Part No MAST 2M30 of ABB or its equvalent in Alstom/OBLUM

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of lightening stroke counter working electro mechanically without any power supply. Eqpt should have capacity of counting lighting stroke of 0.4 KA to 150 ka, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make- LS Counter of ABB or its equivalent in Alstom/Oblum

Supply and laying of single core multi stranded copper cable down conductor of size 70 sqmm incl mounting accessories and clamps with suitable fixing material all as directed at site.

Supply & installation of of G I Strip of size 32 mm X 6 mm as a ring conductor network buried in earth 1 mtr below from surface all as directed at site by Engr-in -charge

Supply & Installation of Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge
