Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) breaking with breakers and other intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required line, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as per directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification clause 1603.1, 1603.2 and sorting out useful material and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-serviceable material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all un-useful surplus material to required width of the road or to approved dumping sites by Engineer-in-Charge through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machinery, material, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals. Condition:- The work will be strictly executed as per HPPWD specifications; The Contractor will precure cement at their own level from Civil Supply Depott. after the approval of permit from the competent authority and other material from market as per Department specification/ Notification issued by the Additional Chief Secretary PW to the Govt. of HP vide No. PBW (B) C (17) 2/2012 dated 07 August 2018 & carriage will be born by the contractor and The bills of all materials precured by the contractor & M-form of mining materials used for excution of work must be submitted to the authority concerned alongwith contractor bill.
