Imp. Note (applicable to the entire work) 1. The bidder must possess valid EPF & ESIC registration. 2. The bidders need to deposit EPF & ESIC with appropriate authority. The reimbursement for EPF & ESIC deposit shall not be made. 3. The payment of wages to labourers should be made through bank 4. The bidder must possess sufficient manpower & other resources (as detailed in SGF ) required for the timely completion of work. 5. The extension work has to be carried out above first floor (i.e. above +7.50 m from FFL) of AHU building near SCRF. 6. Bidders are encouraged to visit site to understand the intricacies of the work before quoting.

Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using RHS, SHS & circular hollow sections of Grade YST 310 as per IS: 4923 at all levels including welding, painting with a primary coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)

Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using ISMBs, Joists, channels, angles, flats, Tees etc. at all levels including welding, painting with a primary coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)

Providing, fabricating, cutting, erecting, and fixing in position structural steel works of any shape using Structural steel M.S. plain & chequered plates at all levels including welding, painting with a primary coat of approved steel primer and transportation etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (The welding weights shall not be measured for payments but cost of same shall be included in the rate.)

Note: for item no 1, 2 & 3

i. Structural steel conforming to IS: 2062

ii. The contractor shall supply copy of Documentary evidence of purchase of steel, test certificates from these firms and also testing from third party, if required to be arranged at no extra cost.

iii. Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rate.

iv. All holes shall be made by drilling only. Gas cutting of holes will not be permitted.

v. Electrodes manufactured by M/s. Advani Oerlikon, ESAB India, Oxygen and D&H SECHERON only shall be used.

vi. Cost of scaffolding required for the work is deemed to be included in the rate. Bidders shall quote accordingly.

vii. The rate shall include providing and fixing anchor fastner in cement concrete / reinforced cement concrete surface including drilling necessary holes and chemical ahdesive as per manufactures specification and as directed by EIC. The contractor shall submit the design for load carrying capacity of anchoring before execution. Anchor rod min. embedded length 150 mm suitable for anchoring of base plate of column shall be used where ever necessary as per loading.

Providing and fixing 0.50 mm TCT color coated galvalume (Color Star Profile) sheets of make CRIL (Color Roof India Ltd.)/Multicolor/ Jinadal, in roof, facia including all overlaps metring, supplying and fixing 'J' hooks or self drilling screws, bolts, nuts and washers as per manufacturers code of practice and cutting the sheets as required, including the cost of scaffolding, work at all heights etc. complete.

Providing and fixing roof sheeting in two layers at all heights, 0.50 mm thick TCT colour coated fully screwless Galvalume sheets joined to double lock standing seam with 52 mm depth & 350-550 mm pitch or equivalent size of make 'Lloyd/Multicolor/JSW/ Bhushan' on top & 0.50 thick color coated multi ribbed linear panels at bottom of roof including all overlaps, mitring and expandable S.S. clips with HAT section @ 1.20 M c/c or spacing of existing purlin to join the sheets to purlin as per manufacturer's code of practice, base material for both the sheet shall be Galvalume and having a minimum yield strength of 340 Mpa and shall conform to the physical specifications of ASTM A 446(Grade D)/ ASTM A 755(Grade 50) / A653 (Grade 50) with Galvalume coating conforming to ASTM A 792- AZ 150 ( 150 gm. Per sqm.), including p/f top/bottom ridge, S.S. end flashing, E.T.P. closures

rain downtakes, gutter sheets, facia etc. matching with profile panels and cutting the sheets as required including jointing screwless sheet using electric portable seamer at site and liner panels using self drilling & self taping fastneres, sealers, cost of scaffolding work at all heights including providing and fixing 50 mm thick rock wool slab insulation (48 kg/cum density) with factory made laminated aluminum facing FSK vapour barrier (Aluminum foil) on one side on top of linear panels etc. complete as per specification as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & applying 2 mm thick POLYURETHANE HYBRID FLOORING using FIBFLOOR-MF of FIBREX /BASF/FOSROC make Heavy Duty floor finish Polyurethane concrete system consisting of primer coat of FIBFLOOR Primer of FIBREX /BASF/FOSROC and 2mm thick Self smoothing topping of FIBFLOOR-MF of FIBREX /BASF/FOSROC along with rectification of any pot holes present in existing floor with suitable and similar filling material. The surface should be prepared with anchor grooves 8mm x 8mm along the perimeter of the floor and around drains, machine legs, columns etc. in the specified area, complete as per drawing, generally as per manufacturer’s recommendation / specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note: The rate includes cost of all materials, labour, GST & all other taxes, scaffold, tools & tackles, safety appliances , arranging test & submitting test report depicting performance on parameters like Compressive Strength (MPa) (IS9162 1979) ) : 51, Flexural Strength(MPa) (S9162-1979 ) : 18 N/mm2,Tensile Strength(Mpa) (IS9162-1979 ) : 7 etc.

Painting steel work with two coats of Synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and made over one coat of approved steel primer including preparing surfaces, filling with suitable putty, scaffolding and cleaning etc. complete

Preparing the surface and etching with 10% commercial hydrochloric acid wherever necessary, neutralising the etched areas by washing with 5% solution of soda ash, applying one coat of pigmented epoxy based primer followed by one coat of epoxy based trowelling compound, cutting and grinding the surfaces wherever necessary using waterproof quality emery paper and applying three finishing coats of epoxy based polyamide cured special acid and alkali resistant paint of approved make & tint including preparing surfaces, scrapping, filling holes, cracks, joints, wherever necessary with epoxy based trowelling compound, cost of all materials, scaffolding and labour and as per manufacturer's recommendations.

Providing, laying or fixing approved quality PVC RAIN WATER PIPES & FITTINGS of 110 mm dia of make Supreme/Astral Pipes/Finolex pipes conforming to IS : 13592, with necessary clamps or concealed in walls including jointing with approved solvent, clamping, and scafolding etc. complete. as per specification and direction by Engineer In charge.

Providing, laying, fixing and testing PVC rigid pipes of dia 315 mm of stiffness class SN8, SDR-34 Supreme, Astral brand for sewerage / rain water ensuring thermal stability for waste water, sewage, acids etc. including all PVC fittings, jointing with durable solvent, testing the pipes at a pressure of 6 Kg per Sq cm etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge. Note: The Measurement shall be taken along the centre line of the pipes including fittings, specials etc. Excavation (if any) etc. shall be paid under relevant item.

Providing, laying, fixing and testing HDPE pipes of Class PE100 of Reliance/Supreme/Astral brand for water supply as per IS 4984: 1995 ensuring thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, acids etc. including all HDPE & fittings including jointing with Butt weilding including testing the pipes at a pressure of 6 Kg per Sq cm etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge. Note: The Measurement shall be taken along the centre line of the pipes including fittings, specials etc. Excavation etc. shall be paid under relevant item.

63mm OD HDPE pipes

Earthwork excavation in foundations in soft rock by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means upto a depth not exceeding 1.5 m including shoring and dewatering, if necessary, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms and getting out the excavated soil, disposing of surplus excavated materials within a distance of 50 metre. (Depth of excavation shall be measured from the existing average ground level.)

Excavation work in Hard rock by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in foundation trenches or drains, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soils as directed by EIC, within a lead of 50 m. (Depth of excavation shall be measured from the existing average ground level.)

Earthwork excavation over areas in all soils except soft and hard rock by mechanical means (hydraulic Excavator)/manual means and disposing off & levelling the soil within a distance of 50 metre.

Providing centering and shuttering using timber planks/steel plates including strutting and propping etc. upto first floor (not exceeding 4 mtr. height) and removal of the same for in situ reinforced concrete and in plain concrete work

Foundations, footings, base of columns plinth beams, flooring, machine foundations, bed blocks, window cills, copings and mass concrete

Cement concrete 1:3:6 using graded stone aggregate 40 mm max. size including consolidating, finishing, curing etc. complete excluding formwork as per specifications.

Providing and fixing reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete using TMT bars of SAIL / RINL/TATA make at all levels including supplying, cutting, bending, fixing, tying in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire etc. complete including cost of binding wire as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note: 1.The steel reinforcement bars shall be brought by the contractor at terms & conditions specified. TMT bars manufactured in the brand name of SAIL/RINL/TATA shall only be permitted subject to furnishing of challans, valid test report issued by the manufacturer, pertaining to elongation, yield strength, Bend rebend test etc.

Note : 2. Random testing of sample collected at site shall be arranged by the contractor at their own cost. One sample comprising of three specimens shall be collected for every 25 MT of bars brought at site .The representive of department shall associate with the engineer of contractor at each stage right from sampling for testing. All charges, transport taxes etc. shall be borne by the contractor.

Note : 3. the contractor shall be solely respossible all the time for watch & ward of bars/binding wires etc. at their own cost.

Note : 4. 1.60 mm dia . Soft drawn annealed BINDING WIRE required for the work will have to be procured by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment .

Note : 5. Other condtions as stipulated in general condition, special conditions, additional conditions and specification shall also be applicable and no claim what so ever on account of enforcing these provisions shall be entertained.

REINFORCED CEMENT CONRETE of M-25 grade (min cement content 387.50 kg/Cum) using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size including machine mixing, weigh batching mechanical vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing and cost of labour, machinery, and materials etc. complete specifications but excluding shuttering, formwork and steel reinforcement.

In foundations, footings, plinth beams, base of columns, flooring.

Brick work in cement mortar 1:6 using table moulded chimney bricks having a compressive strength not less than 40kg/cm² in foundation, plinth upto FFL and compound wall pillars including curing, raking out joints above ground level, simultaneous pointing below G.L. etc. complete as per specifications

Sand faced plaster 20 mm thick in 2 coats over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces at all heights with base coat in cement mortar 1:4, 12mm thick and finishing coat in cement mortar 1:3, 8mm thick final rendering, double scaffolding wherever necessary, hacking of concrete surfaces, curing etc. complete and addition of waterproofing compound @ 2% of weight of cement for the base coat etc. complete.

Painting New exterior walls with two coats of Waterproof cement paint of approved shade including preparing the surfaces, filling with putty wherever required, scaffolding and cleaning etc. complete.

Providing and fixing in position 0.50 mm thick precoated galvanised iron profile sheets in roofing/cladding (size, shape & pitch of corrugation as 5 % total coated thickness (TCT), Zinc coating 80-100 gsm as per IS 277, 0.05 mm, 240 mpa mm steel grade 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both sides of the sheet and RMP top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches while transportation and should be supplied in single length up to 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge.
