Supply, install, testing and commissioning, in repleacement, acoustic proof diesel engine driven generating set, fully wired, 415 Volts, AC, 3 phase 4 wire, 50Hz having capacity 100 KW/125 KVA continuous rating at power factor 0.8 (lagging) as per IS-4722 and connections as per IE rules complete with liquid cooled 4 stroke 4 cylinder Diesel engine with electric start with 12V DC battery (Maintenance free), developing minimum 161.60 BHP at 1500 RPM under NTP prevailing at Jabalpur (Jabalpur Cantt) considering derating factor and shall conform to IS:10000/150 3026/BS-5514 with provisions of 10% over loading for 1 hour for every 12 hours running with A1 class governing and all standard safety type, screen protected, revolving field, self excited, self regulated alternator conforming to BSEN-60034 with IP 23 protection complete with integrated AMF control panel with microprocessor based relays/MCCB/MCBs/Contactors, multifunction meter showing KWH, KVA, PF, Amps, Volts, frequency, indicating lamps, 12 Volt battery charging unit including 12 Volts battery etc required as per latest standard engineering practices including sound proof canopy designed to meet MoEF/CPCB-IV Norms of 75 dBA at 1mtr at 75% load, fabricated from CRCA sheet and a structural/sheet metal base frame, with high quality noise absorbent and fire retardant grade acoustic insulation material conforming to IS : 8183 and integrated fuel tank of capacity not less than minimum 8 hrs running fuel filling arrangement from inside duly painted after necessary pre treatment process complete all as specified and as directed. (Notes:- (i) The cost of PCC foundation as per the recommendation of OEM shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Cost of fuel and other expenses for carrying out acceptance test of the DG set shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.)

Note for Srl item Nos. 1 to 4 above:- BER DG Set shall be deposited to MES Yard by the contractor without charging any extra cost to the Government.

Taking out existing unserviceable XLPE cables any type and any size from its existing location all as specified and directed. ( Note : Excavation and earthwork wherever required shall be measured and paid for separately against relevant items of this BoQ.)

Supply and laying or fixing or passing in trenches/ on pole/ through pipes, 1100 volts grade XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor of cross section area 120 sqmm, 3.5 core including jointing materials such as cable glands & lugs etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection covers, cable protection pipe wherever required shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items in this BOQ.)

Supply and laying or fixing or passing in trenches/ on pole/ through pipes, 1100 volts grade XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor of cross section area 70 sqmm, 3.5 core including jointing materials such as cable glands & lugs etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection covers, cable protection pipe wherever required shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items in this BOQ.)

Supply and laying or fixing or passing in trenches/ on pole/ through pipes, 1100 volts grade XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor of cross section area 25 sqmm, 4 core including jointing materials such as cable glands & lugs etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection covers, cable protection pipe wherever required shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items in this BOQ.)

Supply and laying sub class B fly ash bricks , laid flat, dry, in trenches with width equal to the length of the bricks, laid perpendicular to the axis of cable for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and spreading clean and dry fine sand free from sharp materials (unwashed) laying in trenches around the cable for cushioning in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23 cm (15 cm under the cable & 8 cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed. ( Note : Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose)

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, for laying of pipe, cable etc or n. exc.10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Drilling (Horizontally) to existing road (maximum 10M wide) suitable for passing GI tubing of dia upto 80 mm as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- All necessary T&P required at site for drilling shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Supply and laying of GI steel tubing 80 mm bore light grade laid in tranches / wall / floor and joined including necessary fittings such as bends, elbow, tees sockets etc including necessary saddles and clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying GI steel tubing 50 mm bore light grade laid in trenches/wall/floor and joined including necessary fittings such as bends, elbow, tees sockets etc including necessary saddles and clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying of GI steel tubing 40 mm bore light grade laid in trenches/wall/floor and joined including necessary fittings such as bends, elbow, tees sockets etc including necessary saddles and clamps complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in repair of Earthing and testing complete with galvanized iron earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 M below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 M below normal ground level connected to and including GI strip 32 x 6 mm as earth lead by means of bolts and nuts, check nuts and washers etc made of GI & connected to equipment and earthing test point, earth dolly all as shown in elect plate No 3 of SSR Part-I(2009) including all necessary earth work, excavation, PCC chamber cover with handle (PCC 1:2:4) and 20mm dia medium grade GI watering pipe and 40 mm dia light grade GI for protection of earth strip upto 7.5 mtr length, wire mesh, funnel, charcoal dust & common salt, etc all as specified and directed and testing on completion.
