Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n exc. 30 cm thick; watering, ramming /rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc., n exc. 1.5 m high from the base, compaction of earth filling shall be carried out under optimum moisture conditions to the specified percentage of standard proctor density not less than 95 % complete all as specified and directed.
Bringing approved earth (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any, transportation, taxes etc. for area filling/ forming embankments including raising of original ground level (any height from OGL) or lowering by approved earth and including earth spreading in layers not exc 30cm thick each layer, watering, compaction with 8 tone to 12 tone power roller and finished to required size and shape etc, any high from EGL complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) Earth required for the item, shall be supplied by contractor, from outside MOD land of any lead, at his own arrangement. (ii) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction, royalties, tax etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) With reference to clause 3.6 of MES schedule Part-II on serial page No.21 it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment of filled earth after consolidation/compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk.
Excavation over areas not exceeding 1.5 m in deep and getting out in loose/soft soil complete all as specified and directed.
All as per Srl Item No. 3.00 here-in-before for each additional 1.5 m part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5 m and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for PCC type C-2 (1:3:6) (using 40 mm grade crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for RCC M-25 (Design Mix) (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, base for columns, basement slabs, underreamed piles, mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for use and waste Formwork to rough finished surface to faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc., vertical or to batter to rough finished surface complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for use and waste of Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work, not exceeding 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) etc complete all as specified and directed.
M&L RCC M-25 (Design Mix) (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in Walls, retaining walls, basement walls, ballast walls and the like, any thickness, above top of footings including attached pilasters and buttresses complete all as specified and directed.
M&L RCC M-25 (Design Mix) (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in Slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like complete all as specified and directed.
Formwork to edges of concrete flats, treads, breaks in floors, window cills, concrete railings, openings in concrete walls, floor and roofs n exc 20 cm wide and sides of RCC/PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping and similar work exc 10cm but n exc 20cm wide, rough finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for PCC Type C1 (1:3:6) (20 mm grade crushed stone aggregate) in parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and directed.
M&L Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) as finished fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick with soil etc complete all as specified and directed.
Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape reqired including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.
Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for use and waste of Formwork in rough finished surface to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams in rough finish of concrete surface etc complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm gradede crushed stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drains including form works complete all as specified and directed.
S&F PVC (SWR) pipe 75mm bore single socketed, in any length for weep holes with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm as in stirupps, spacers and binders cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.
