Construction, maintenance and subsequent removal of earthen bundies including cost of excavation earth filling of E.C. bags with earth, stitching and placing in position for care and diversion of all kinds of water entering or flowing in the drain and pumping out surface as well as under ground seepage water to keep the construction area completely dry during execution of entire work including its execution of work in or under water and or liquid mud wherever required complete.
Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead.
Dismantling of flexible pavement (bituminous courses) by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled material up to a lead of 1 kilometre, as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.
Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
Deployment of pump for dewatering of side drain including hiring charges of pump cost of shifting of pump as and where, as and when required, cost of POL, T&P cost of labour charges for operation of pump, including cost of diesel, etc. completes as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. All kinds of soil.

Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for plain cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana/ Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete.Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the minimum specified cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement. All works upto plinth level : Concrete of M10 grade with minimum cement content of 220 kg /cum.
Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.
Providing and laying in position ready mixed M-35 grade concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content 430kg/cum as per approved design mix, manufactured in fully automatic batching plant and transported to site of work in transit mixer for all leads, having continuous agitated mixer, manufactured as per mix design of specified grade for reinforced cement concrete work, including pumping of R.M.C. from transit mixer to site of laying , excluding the cost of centering, shuttering finishing and reinforcement, including cost of admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS : 9103 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete,improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.All Work up to Plinth level.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).
Chequerred precast cement concrete tiles 22 mm thick in footpath & courtyard, jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles, including rubbing and cleaning etc. complete, on 20 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand). Medium shade pigment using 50% white cement 50% Grey cement.
Providing and fixing expansion joints made of angle iron 75x75x6mm M.S. Flat 140 x 10mm welding of 12mm of dia bar and bitumen filtter etc. Complete as per drawing.
Providing and fixing PVC pipe for weep holes/under footpath of 100mm dia with PVC heavy duty pipe as per drawing & direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and fixing 100 mm dia G.I. drainage spouts as per details given in the complete as per drawing
Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete. On concrete work.
Providing thematic Painting work on outer face of Existing wall at Bund Drain (Culvert Parapet wall) depicting theme of nature/culture by using exterior weather proof emulsion paint i/c design charges etc. Complete.
Smooth finishing of the exposed surface of R.C.C. work with 6 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 fine sand).
Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site as per drawing/ direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- One time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of work i/c shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work).
Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture.
Providing & Fixing hard drawn steel wire mesh fabric 75X25mm of weight not less than 4.75 Kg/Sqm fixed (welded) on frame of angle iron 50 X 50 X 6mm and T-iron 50 X 50 X 6mm with flat iron size of 20 X 5 mm including cutting, welding, hoisting and fixing in position with RCC railing and applying a priming coat of steel primer of approved brand and a manufacturer etc. complete. As per drawing and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and applying two coats, for anti corrosive treatment of reinforcement bars, of 'Corrosion Inhibitor Solution' of approved quality and manufacture (manufacture having valid license from CECRI, (Pattern No.109784/67), Kodailanal, Tamilnadu) including making slurry of cement by adding inhibitor solution to Ordinary Portland Cement in the ratio of 0.6:1 (i.e., 600 cc of inhibitor: 1Kg of Cement) or as specified by the manufacture, applying first coat of slurry uniformly on surface of reinforcement steel bars by brushing or dipping in shaded area and removing rust and iron oxide remnants etc. from the bars using iron brush before applying the slurry and drying the coated bars on drying platform from 12-24 hours before cutting and bending and then applying second coat in the ration of 0.45 : (i.e. 450 cc of Inhibitor : 1 kg of cement) and drying in the same manner before placing in position.
Providing and fixing Glow studs of size 100x20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35 (+/-5) degress to base .The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retroreflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.
Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.
Designing providing installing temporary, removable retaining structure using steel piles/soldier piles/H. beams with water beams, hard wood wooden lagging of desired thickness, M.S. clamps or other suitable arrangement etc. strutting shoring or using anchore for all lead, lift and depth including boring holes for soldier piles/strutting structural members up to required depths and dia& filling holes as per approved structural design & drawing to required depth. The solider piles shall be embedded below founding level as per approved earth retaining structure design/ drawings conforming to relevant BIS codes and other relevant retaining structure shall be taken out after completion of raft & retaining walls. The work shall be carried out as per approved structure design, drawings and in co-ordination with other structural/ architectural drawings. The rate shall be inclusive of mobilisation, operation of machineries, equipment’s tools, tackles design, re-design drawings and other incidentals to the item of work complete to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
