REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF 11 KV HT SWITCHGEARS PANEL IN MRS, HT UG CABLE, MAINT OF TRANSFORMERS AND CONNECTED DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN KAMPTEE CANTT AND FORT AREA NAGPUR UNDER GE KAMPTEE.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and protection cover/Bricks .

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each, excavated soil in trenches after the cables have been laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50m and deposited where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair Double wall Corrugated High Density Polymer Ethyl (HDPE) pipe For laying of Electric cable of size 120 mm outer diameter and 103.5 mm inner Diameter with IS 16285(part 2):2001 laid in trenches, wall, floor, pole including bends, sockets and other connected accessories complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying & testing HT 11 KV cable XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip armoured HT electric power cable (heavy duty) 11000 volts grade with aluminum conductor 11 KV (E) grade, cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3 core as per IS-7098 suitable for earth system laid in trenches including taking out unserviceable /brunt HT cable of any type /rating, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying & testing HT 11 KV cable XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip armoured HT electric power cable (heavy duty) 11000 volts grade with aluminum conductor 11 KV (E) grade, cross sectional area 120 Sqmm 3 core as per IS-7098 suitable for earth system laid in trenches including taking out unserviceable /brunt HT cable of any type /rating, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying & testing HT 11 KV cable XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip armoured HT electric power cable (heavy duty) 11000 volts grade with aluminum conductor11 KV (E) grade, cross sectional area 150 Sqmm 3 core as per IS-7098 suitable for earth system laid in trenches including taking out unserviceable /brunt HT cable of any type /rating, complete all as specified and as direcetd.

Supply, laying & testing HT 11 KV cable XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip armoured HT electric power cable (heavy duty) 11000 volts grade with aluminum conductor11 KV (E) grade, cross sectional area 185 Sqmm 3 core as per IS-7098 suitable for earth system laid in trenches including taking out unserviceable /brunt HT cable of any type /rating, complete all as specified and as direcetd.

Disconnecting and taking out old Unserviceable HT joint and Supply & fixing , jointing and testing cable jointing kit of 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for End joint (Outdoor termination), heat shrinkable type complete with all jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size upto 95 Sq mm complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old Unserviceable HT joint and Supply & fixing , jointing and testing cable jointing kit of 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for End joint (Outdoor termination), heat shrinkable type complete with all jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size upto 120 to 185 Sq mm complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old unserviceable HT joint and Supply & fixing only, jointing and testing cable jointing kit of 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through, cold shrinkable type complete with all jointing material and accessories suitable for 50 to 185 Sqmm 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of any sizes and type including excavation, returning and filling upto 10 mtrs, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for testing the cables with high voltage DC testing machine and locating the fault in the cables by fault locating machine to pin point exact position of fault, disconnecting faulty 11 KV HT cables of different sizes from both ends, removal of Fault, Re-connections and testing of cables after removal of fault complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) All T&P and other accessories required for checking and finding of fault in cable shall be provided by the Contractor (ii) Charges/rent of the fault locating mobile machine, operator, engineer, electricians etc shall be deemed to included rate quoted by Contractor. (iii) Checking and finding fault upto 03 places of same route of the cable will be considered as one Job.

Supply and fixing in replacement including commissioning & testing of HT lightening arrestor expulsion type complete with all fitting transmission class, discharge capacity 65 Kilo Amps current rating 10 KA suitable for 11000 Volts & making necessary connections complete including taking down of existing lightening arrestor, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement including commissioning & testing of drop out fuse unit suitable for 11000 volt mounted on MS channel complete with post insulator polymer type fuse barrel (fibre glass tube) etc for 3 phase, including taking down of existing drop out fuse unit, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement including commissioning & testing of 11 KV Air break gang operated triple pole switch for current rating upto 200 amps, mechanically operated mounted on polymer insulator and steel frame outdoor type suitable for vertical installation single brake provided with locking arrangement, consisting of MS channel , HT post type insulator, copper complete including taking down of existing unserviceable air break switch, complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repair HT cable route indicator made out of 45 X 45 X 6 mm MS angle of length 60 cm and bolted with round CI plate of suitable size indicating HT cable 11000 V complete including excavation & grouting by PCC 0.3x0.3x0.3 mtr, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for , HT 25x20 cm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plate fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and applying two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair 11000 volt, Pin type, polymer type, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanized iron washers and one galvanized iron nuts,150 mm height, 150 mm dia for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair 11000 volt Disc type, polymer insulator 145 mm high and 255 mm dia ball and socket type white / brown "two in one series" assembly for tension with clamps for conductor suitable for 11000 volt working pressure, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for drilling suitable dia horizontal bore holes for insertion/ laying of upto 110mm bore HDPE pipe/GI pipe of any description below/under existing road surfaces/apron /floors etc with using mechanical and / or manual devices as required at site including making good the disturbed surfaces to match with the existing strata after laying pipes complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE : (i) Pipes shall be laid minimum 60 cm below/under existing road surfaces/ apron /floors etc). (ii) Equipment, tools and plant material (horizontal boring rig machine) required for boring shall be arranged by contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.

Supplying and fixing in replacement of HDPE Pipe, 90 mm bore (PN 10), suitable for insertion in horizontal boring for protection of cable / croossing of cable, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Spray painting to existing Transformer of capacity form 50 KVA to 500 KVA with two coats of approved colour synthetic enamel paint complete including dusting, cleaning of existing dust before applying synthetic enamel paint and writing MES No. capacity of transformer with approved colour synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Loose filling with aggregates of gauge 20 mm crushed stone back colour suitable for spreading in electrical sub stn after preparation site by removing all type of debris, removing unwanted soil, and spreading lime powder beneath the aggregate all as directed..

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25m below ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below ground level connected to galvanized iron earth strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts, washers of galvanized iron and connected to main switch/control board upto 7.5m away from the earth electrode including excavation earth work, PCC chamber, RCC cover slab char coal, watering pipe, wire mesh lugs, earth lead protection pipe 40 mm bore, light grade 7.5m long as applicable and as per plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 and all as specified. (a) Excavation and earth work in any type of soil. (b) Drilling of holes in electrode (c) PCC pit in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (d) 40 mm thick Pre-cast RCC cover with suitable handle. (e) Funnel with watering pipe of GI 20 mm nominal bore ,medium grade & copper lug etc. (f) 40 mm nominal bore medium grade GI protection pipe 7.50 m long for protection of earthing lead. (g) Requisite quantity of charcoal and common salt. (h) Connection to earthing test point and testing on completion.

M&L for plate earthing in replacement of old earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (in earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides and incl copper earth strip 20 x 3 mm bolted (with copper/ brass nuts, bolts & check nuts) and riveted to earth plate at one end and connected to metallic bodies of equipment’s/ earthing test point etc at the other end, earth strip encased in and including 40 mm GI light grade pipe with all fittings from top of electrode to body of equipment fixed with and including 25x4mm iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade from bottom of earth pit to top of electrode complete with wire mesh funnel and earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate and CI cover and frame complete all specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-1 including testing earth resistance and submitting test report to AGE E/M by the contractor complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Rates for excavation and earthwork in any kind of soil/ strata, testing on completion, copper strip 20x3 mm and 40 mm dia light grade GI protection pipe upto 7.5 metres from earth plate is deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 32x6 mm GI strip complete all as specified and directed.

Carefully opening of the transformer cover along with the conservator by removing the nuts, bolts after removing the internal connections by taking them out by removing studs, bushings,including necessary repairs for the unserviceable transformers having ratio of 11/0.433 KV, removing of leakage of tank if any by welding and re assembling making the internal connections by fixing studs, bushing fitting the top over by replacing cork sheet gasket along with conservator testing the transformer in the work shop or at site duly fitted lifting the transformer and loading and unloading at substation from workshop and transporting by vehicle if required. Making the connections of earthing and connecting the jumpers/cable, installation testing and commissioning of 50 KVA to 100 KVA capacity of transformers all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Ditto all as per item No 29 above but of size 150 KVA to 500 KVA Note for item No. 29 & 30 :- (i) Transformer are located at various locations in Kamptee and Nagpur. (ii) The above mentioned work shall be carried out within 8 days and alternate transformer of suitable capacity shall be arranged by the contractor for same period to provide uninterrupted power supply. Bushing and Stud shall be measured from relevent item.

Supply & fix in replacement of unserviceable primary bushings with Brass Stud of suitable size outdoor model for the transformers of 50 KVA to 100 KVA capacities.

Ditto all as per item No 31 above but of size 150 KVA to 160 KVA

Ditto all as per item No 31 above but of size 200 KVA to 315 KVA

Ditto all as per item No 31 above but of size 400 KVA to 500 KVA

Supply & fix in replacement of unserviceable Secondary bushings with Brass Stud of suitable size outdoor model for the transformers of 50 KVA to 100 KVA capacities.

Ditto all as per item No 35 above but of size 150 KVA to 160 KVA

Ditto all as per item No 35 above but of size 200 KVA to 315 KVA

Ditto all as per item No 35 above but of size 400 KVA to 500 KVA

Supply and fix in repair breather assembly of transformer of various capacities filled with silica gel including taking out of unserviceable silica gel, complete all as specified and directed and size approved by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair explosion vent diaphragm.

Supply and fix in repair Oil level indicator.

M&L for 40 mm gate valves Gun-metal for transformer oil drain out pipe, globe with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron body, complete with all accessories.

Taking down distribution transformer upto 500 KVA 11KV/433 Volts carefully from position at Sub station by disconnecting all the connections carefully, lifting the transformer by crane and transporting the transformer safely to the workshop for repair and back after repair and placing in original position, connecting up and testing all as specified and as directed.

Dismatling the 11/0.433 KV up to 500 KVA transformer by opening the cover and taking out carefully the tap changer, primery and secondary coils from the core and washing the core with solution, draining out the transformer oil, cleaning the tank to remove all sludge and dirts and cleaning all healthy parts and painting the tank internally with oil resistant paint all complete.

M&L for Rewinding of HV Coil with copper wire (DPC of same gauge and size), re-assembling of newly wounded coil on core in position all as specified and directed by Engr -in -Charge.

M&L for Rewinding of LV Coil with copper wire (DPC of same gauge and size), re-assembling of newly wounded coil on core in position all as specified and directed by Engr -in -Charge.

M&L for re-insulation of primary / secondary winding HV / LV coil complete with new insulating material (Double paper covering insulation) including fixing the coil to its position all as specified and directed by Engr -in -Charge

Baking of HV and LV coils in electric oven for drying to transformer coils after rewinding and reinsulation complete.

Reassemblying the 11/0.433 KV transformer by placing the dried HV and LV coils in the core of the transformer and magnetic balancing of coils, refitting the tap changer and connecting including brazing, soldering, sleeving including filling old transformer oil, changing gasket and refixing the top cover with conservator tank and testing the transformer in all respect.

Material and labour for OFF LOAD Filtration and dehyration of transformer oil complete through filteration plant to achieve the dielectric strength of oil not less than 50 KV complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour by refilling New Transformer Oil all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair shunt trip assembly suitable for 11 KV HT VCB/OCB operating on 24/110 volt system and testing, suitable for Alstom / CG make VCBs, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair closing coil operated on 24/110 volts system suitable for working of relay of HT VCB/OCB, suitable for Alstom / CG make VCBs, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Outdoor type canopy headed HT 11K volt grade, 3 phase, AC, 50 cycle, cable jointing feeder pillar box (CPRI Approved) powder coated for inspection and meggring during faults,, factory made outdoor pedestal type double door, IP 65 protection with incoming and outgoing cable alloy fabricated out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet with powder coated painting in side and outside of approved shade, locking arrangement with 02 Nos 19mm dia lock of make Godrej with keys, two earthy terminal suitable cable gland for all incoming and outgoing cable grouting of feeder pillar box 30 cm above ground level by providing 90 cm long MS angle iron of size 70x70x6 mm thick including two coat of black paint over one coat of red oxide primer, dust proof, vermin proof / water proof both sides open able, welded on all the four comers embedded in PCC (1:2:4) using 20 mm graded stone agg upto 30 CM deep and 45 CM above from normal ground level complete all as specified and directed incl the following components:- (a) The panel will be having aluminium bus bar of size 50x10mm duly insulated with heat shrinkable PVC sleeve, air insulated colour coded with porcelain HT long post insulator 11 KV, Complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning and removal of disintegrated & deteriorated paint by hand scrapping and preparation of of old painted exposed surfaces of Chain link fencing of 11 KV yard incl gate etc and applying two coat of aluminium / Synthetic enamel paint over a coat of a red oxide all around the exposed chain link fencing, compete all as specified and directed.
