Dismantling the Alternator of 100 KVA DG set after disconnecting all electrical & mechanical connections, transportation to the work shop for rewinding the rotor & field windings with supper enameled winding wire of appropriate/ existing gauge ,varnishing, drying/ backing, bench testing in work shop, transporting back to MES site, re assembling, testing, & checking the performance and out put of alternator for trouble free & smooth functioning.

M&L earthing GI Strip complete with galvanized steel plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.0 mm thick, burried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to galvanized iron strip 32 x 6 mm size by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) connected to main switch board or any other electrical equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2009 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm bore medium grade GI pipe for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber, RCC (1:2:4), type B-1, reinforced with 6 mm dia MS round bars @ 15 cm c/c both way for cover and MS frame etc., complete all as specified. Note: The unit rate includes earth strip and protection pipe upto (maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate) earth point/test point.

Supply, install & errect in true vertical posision galvanised steel octagonal poles 7 meter long single arm of 3 mm thick sheet , bottom dia 130 mm and top dia 70 mm finial tapered complete with MS base plate of size 220mmx220mmx12mm, foundation bolts, nuts, washers & screws.The poles shall be hot dip galvanized as per relevant Indian standards with average coating thickness of minimum 70 micron. the material of pole HT Steel Conforming to grade S355JO & that of base plate is Fe 410 conforming to IS 226 / IS 2062. The Octagonal Poles shall be in single section. There shall not be any circumferential weld joint. Pole drawing along with details of base plate , foundation bolts and foundation details (RCC) shall be submitted along with pole. (Note: excavation, RCC foundation as per manufacturer drawing & specification, foundation bolts with nut & washers, single arm for mounting street light, connector block for 3phase+ 1nutral for cable termination & MCB SP 10 Ams is deemed to be included in rate quoted)

Dismantling existing unserviceable / damaged LT Pole complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing defective LT under ground cable of any size from trenches complete all as directed

Supply, Laying , jointing and testing in replacement of LT underground cable, heavy duty, 1100 Volts, XLPE insulated and sheathed, armoured with multi-stranded aluminium conductor cable , laid in trenches/ducts or fixed to poles/walls or laid under roads/paths/drains/culverts duly encased in galvanised steel pipe of suitable sizes including cable gland of suitable sizes and aluminium lugs for connection complete all as specified and directed of following size:-

Supply & lay in trenches double walled corugated HDPE pipe 50 mm dia high density for protection of under ground cables( Note: pipe couplers with seal, bends, end covers etc are deemed to be included in rate quoted)

Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 mtr in wide and n. exc. 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of underground cable and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated soil in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed

Removing of excavted soil to a distance n. exc. 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down, keeping in safe custody & refixing the same street light on new pole of any type and any wattage complete all as directed.

S&F PVC insulated and FR PVC Round Sheathed, Copper Conductor (flexible) industrial cable, 1100 Volt grade, conforming to IS 694 of size 1.0 Sqmm 3 core.

Note:-Comprehensing/ preventive Servicing includes the following :-

ENGINE :- 1.Check the oil level and charge if necessary2.Clean/ replace the air cleaner element 3.Clean the cylinder head & cylinder liner fins for better cooling 4.Clean/replace the by pass filter element 5. Clean/replace the fuel filter element 6.Check the tightness of all the foundation bolts 7.Check the battery lead connection 8. Check the belt alignment & condition, if necessary adjust/replace it. 9.Check the Leakage in air intake/ exhaust piping hose connection 10.Clean/replace the oil filter element& diesel filter element. 11.Cleaning of radiator cooling fins and water circulating pipes by cleaning agent 12.Checking the smooth functioning of the engine and rectifying the defects if any.

ALTERNATOR :- 1. Check for abnormal noise during running and rectifying it.2. Check the ventilation grill is free from dust for proper cooling3.Check the power cables connected terminal for tightness and proper lugs condition.4. Check for tightness of external fastener of coupling and adopter5. Put water in the earth pit6. Check whether earthing connections are proper7. Check the all AVR connection for proper tightness8. Check carbon brushes centre position on slip ring9. Check carbon brushes for wear and tear and proper spring tension on brushes11. Check for MX unit connections10. Check for free movement of carbon brushes in brush holder12. Start the DG set and observe the following parameters.a) Check for stable out put from alternatorb) Check for balance load( unbalance should not be more than 10% of total load)c) Current---R--------Y------B-------d) Voltage---R---------y------b--------e) Power factor if available-----------Note:- Spare parts will be measured and paid separately For Sr No-1 to 7
