Comprehensive maintenance of DG sets , periodical servicing including first hand repairs, consisting of normal repairs such as tightening of nut bolts, greasing, checking/replacing of battery terminals, leveling of distilled water, cleaning of main ,battery charging alternator where ever exists with vacuum cleaner including replacements of defective/ worn out spares such as diesel filters, oil filters, rubber hose pipe ,V-belt, fuel pipe and change of oils etc. and cleaning of Radiator etc. for DG Set 380 KVA, Make;- Greaves cotton Ltd / Jyoti Ltd, SM No. 187086 at Substation No.8 (Location : Main Power House DIAT, Girinagar). Notes:- (i) The maintenance cost of DG Set for month shall deemed to comprises of cost of labour employed for the purpose, T&P used and other petty items such as cotton waste, Kerosene oil, Grease, nuts, bolts, and labour cost for fixing spares. (ii) All spares and oil replaced will be measured and paid under relevant items of schedule ‘A’. (iii) Fixing charges for the spares and oil etc. are deemed to be included in quoted rate for comprehensive maintenance of DG Set if the spares are not included in Sch 'A' then department will provide the same Free for fixing. (iv) Rectifying the defects in DG set any parts by tightening loose connections and rectifying defects, testing complete all as directed. (v) contractor shall detail his rap (machanic) to attend any type of fault /defects on complaint from engr-in -charge or his rep, and and will be attended within 12 hrs and fault should be repair within 48hrs. (vi) In case contractor fails to rectify defect within 48 hrs recovery @ Rs 500 per day will be carried out.

Taking down defective self starter 12/24 Volt of DG set of cap from 62.5 KVA to 500 KVA DG set installed at various installations and servicing/overhauling including replacing of worn out parts like solenoid, bearing, carbon brush, rewinding the starter motor winding, etc. and refitting the same after making serviceable for smooth functioning in all respect all as directed by Eng-in-Charge. Note:-Spares required and rewinding will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this Schedule here after.

Supply & fix in replacement of power contactor AC 1 Duty, 4 Pole, 415 V AC suitable for following DG set AMF control panel. (a) 380 KVA DG set (MCX 45 of L&T make OR equivalent and approved)

(b) 300 KVA DG set (MCX 44 of L&T make OR equivalent and approved)

(c) 250 KVA DG set (MCX 43 of L&T make OR equivalent and approved)

(d) 160 KVA DG set (MCX 34 of L&T make OR equivalent and approved)

(e) 200 KVA DG set (MCX 41 of L&T make OR equivalent and approved)

Scrapping/cleaning the existing paint completely and painting with two coats of anti corrosion synthetic enamel paint with spray painting (Colour as per E-in-C code to be followed), DG Set, fuel tank writing SM No. and MES No. with given size of letters/Figures all as directed by Engr-in-Charge for the following capacities of DG Sets :- (a) 160 KVA DG set

Taking down the existing perished/damaged asbestos rope and supply and replace with new asbestos rope 10 mm thick on the exhaust pipe including covering with aluminium foil all as specified as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for replacement of brass battery terminal suitable for lead acid battery 12 V any AH all as directed.

Supply in sump / topping up engine oil, multi grade 20W/40 in engine or replacement of engine oil for DG SETS in DIAT (DU), MILIT Girinagar & R&DE (E) Dighi. Make: Indian oil / Hindustan petroleum / Castrol.

Supply electrolyte of suitable Sp gravity for lead acid batteries in sealed containers

Supply of Coolant for DG sets of capacity 62.5 KVA to 500 KVA.

Supply petroleum jelly in 1 Kg plastic sealed container

Supply only distilled water for battery in 5 kg plastic sealed container.

Supply fuel pipe steel braided, steel stranded with benzo bolts and washers etc complete of length 30 cm long.

Supply fuel pipe steel braded, steel stranded with benzo bolts and washers etc complete of length 45 cm long.

Supply fuel pipe steel braded, steel stranded with banjo bolts and washers etc complete of length 60 cm long.

Supply fuel level indicator transparent PVC pipe of suitable dia for fuel level in tank.

M &L for Removing the fuel injection pump (FIP) from DG set cap 62.5 to 500 KVA and carry out servicing and calibration from authorised maker's work shop including replacement of injectors, nozzles, etc. and refitting the same for smooth and efficient functioning all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :-Repairs will be carried out from authorised workshop of MICO or manufacturer of DG set.

M&L for Repair to Radiator assy by disconnecting the radiator from engine frame and servicing/cleaning with acid and brazing where required to stop leaking tubes/joints etc. cleaning fins and re-fixing the same for DG set 62.5 KVA to 500 KVA all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair Turbo charger including replacement of worn out parts such as shaft, seal, bush bearing etc all as directed.

Taking down the defective water pump from DG set of any type and capacity and replace with new one for DG set of cap 62.5 KVA to 500 KVA all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for carry out initial charging with filling Sulphuric acid and distilled water upto level required to Battery 12 Volts, 180 AH of any make incl transportation to work shop and back all as directed by Eng-in-Charge

Taking down the defective flexible coupling at exhaust manifold end fix new flexible coupling stainless steel as per sample all as directed.

M&L for replacement of exhaust manifold with gasket, and all other connected parts DG set engine all as specified and directed

M&L for replacement of power contactor 4 pole ,415 volts, 630 amps. Make. Legrand / L&T / Indoasian

Supply and fixing in replacement digital ammeter 0 to 300 Amps

(g) EOT Crane 10 Ton capacity installed at CVD Bldg AT DIAT Girinagar, MES No. C-607-S Note for item No. (a) to (g) above:- (i) Maintenece of crane required to be done in every month, which includes cleaning, greasing, oiling whenever required, cheking of all electrical connection in addition standard maintenance as recommended by manufacturer as quarterly, half yearly and yearly, The rate quoted by the contractor including cost of grease, cotton waste, lugs, nuts, bolts and washers, insulation tape, screws small piece of cable and T&P etc. (ii) Quoted unit rate deemed to be include to attend the breakdown any No. of times as and when required by users if any spares are changed shall be measured and paid under relevant item as supply only, fixing charges for the spares are deemed to be included in the quoted rate for comprehensive maintenance of crane. (iii) Load testing of each crane at 100 % of its capacity shall be carried out once during the currency of contract. It will be measured and paid seprately under respective item of schedule.

supply & Fix in repairs Battery 90 AH 12V DC replacement of old unserviceable Battery at 62.5 t0 165 KVA DG set connected all accessories, Battery terminal, battery Led, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairing of AMF panel of DG set including taking down burnt circuit wiring and replacing with new wiring, changing of power contactor, modification of the panel's busbar with suitable rating of bus bar with nuts and bolts, colour coding sleaves for bus bar and all connected accessories all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : Power Contactor item will be measured and paid seperately under relavent item.

Supply and fixing of ATS unit for AMF panel of any capacity all as directed.

Supply and fixing of 24 V, 30 A Battery charger for charging Lead Acid battery input range 170V to 270 V operating range, naturally cooled, for charging the battery all as directed.

Taking down / dismantling existing aluminium strip of size 25 x 3 mm of convertional type lightening protection network system from any height of roof top/ on walls all as specified and directed.

Re-fixing old serviceable aluminium strip of size 25 x 3 mm on existing PCC block at any height on roof top, on existing insulators any type on walls including jointing the system of conventional type lightening protection network and making good the disturbed surface of walls / roof top match with existing surface complete all as specified and directed and as directed.

Supply and fix aluminium strip of size 25x3mm fixed on PCC block with epoxy based insulator of 35mm size at distance / interval not more than 1.0 m for down conductor air terminal network including drilling two Nos holes at each joint, one set of lead washers between strips, two sets GI nut and bolt, gutties, screws etc complete all as specified and directed. .

Material and labour (in repair) for earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to galvanised strip 25X4 mm by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts, washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 03 of SSR Part I connected to earthing test point including excavation/ earth work in any type of strata, removal of surplus excavated material, GI pipe for watering and funnel, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber including necessary formwork / mould for fair and even surfaces, precast RCC 1:2:4 type B0 chamber cover slab, GI funnel, with GI watering pipe 20 mm bore light grade, wire mesh, protection pipe 40 mm bore GI pipe light gde for earth lead upto 7.50 m long including testing complete including dismantling/demolition of old U/s earthing of any type all as specified and directed. Note : Test results are to be written in letters of 20mm height in white colour on black paint back ground all as directed.

Material and labour in replacement of GI funnel, wire mesh, earth pit Precast RCC (1:2:4) type B0 cover complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs GI tubing light grade of size 40 mm bore for connecting to air termination rod / protection to GI strip complete including Brackets for fixing all as directed and specified.

S & F in repair copper strip 20 x 3mm with saddle and fixing screws etc for roof conduters and down conductors above ground all as directed.
