EXECUTION OF WORK UNDER MC and EW (CONSERVATION OF ANCIENT MONUMENT) ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AND UPKEEP OF VIJAYDURG FORT, AT VIJAYDURG, TAL-DEVGAD, DIST-SINDHUDURG. AS SPECIFIED IN THE BOQ.

Description of works

Removal of all deposietd / reclaimed area consisting of loose soil, sand and other debris from the moat of Vijaydurg Fort for maintening the site in presentable condition including removal all the excavated material beyond the work site up to adistance of 50 meters etc., complete as per the direction of the site incharge. Note: earlier, fort was isolated from the main land with the Moat but before fee decades this area was area was reclaimed with the available material. etc complete as per the direction of site incharge.

Providing and fixing Guard Railing of 1000 mm height in 25 mm M.S .square bars 100 mm C/c. asper Type drawing No.6dt.20-8-85 and fixedin 50mm x 50mm x6 mm iron angle embedded in1:2:4 C.C.bedding 55x45 cm and 50x6 iron patti as per detailed drawing with 3 coats of approved yellow and black paint etc. complete as per the direction of the site incharge etc complete as per the direction of site incharge.

Provision for laying red earth, free from pebble and rubbish like dried grass and other materials, reddish colours and should be well sieved 90% to pass through IS sieve of 10mm including filling red hill soil and well decomposed cow dung manuare in 4:1 proportion, mixing of red earth and cow dung manuare watering to the depth of 1 inches three times stacking at site, spreading etc. complete as per the direction of site incharge.

Provision for providing and laying Carpet Lawns / having 0.30 x 0.30 cm or 0.60 x 0.60 cm in size with 3 inches thickness along with soil, compact and it should lush green in colour and well-trimmed/ levelled at the time of supply including laying readymade carpet lawn on prepared ground an maintaining the same by watering and weeding till 30 days after the completion of lawn plantation, levelling, rolling after establishment of grass etc., complete as per the direction of the site incharge.

Excavation for foundation in earth, soil of all types, sand, gravel and soft murum, including removing the excavated material upto a distance of 50m. beyond the building area and stacking and spreading as directed, dewatering, preparing the bed for the foundation and necessary backfilling, ramming, watering including shoring and strutting etc. complete. (Lift upto 1.5 m.) By Mechanical Means etc complete as per the direction of site incharge.

Providing dry/ trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss rubble stone soling 15 cm to 20 cm thick including hand packing and compacting etc complete as per the direction of site incharge.

Providing and laying Cast in situ/Ready Mix cement concrete in M-10 of trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss metal for foundation and bedding including bailing out water, Steel centering, formwork, laying/pumping, compacting, roughening them if special finish is to be provided, finishing if required and curing complete, with fully automatic micro processor based PLC with SCADA enabled reversible Drum Type mixer/concrete Batch mix plant (Pan mixer) etc. complete. With fine aggregate (Crushed sand VSI Grade) etc complete as per the direction of site incharge.

Providing coursed rubble masonry first sort of Laterite/ trap / granite /quartzite / gneiss stones in cement mortar 1:6 in superstructure including racking out joints on the inside when plastering is to be done, watering and scaffolding etc complete as per the direction of site incharge.
