Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used.

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50mm and disposal of scarified material with inall lifts and lead upto 1000metres. Unit = sqm Taking output = 100sqm(A/R-2006 page-156 item No-34).

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site by mechanical means within a lead of 5 kms spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement.

Providing, conveying, spreading moorum or gravel and consolidation with H.R.R. including watering and cost, conveyance, royality of all materials etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, conveying and laying moorum in Sub-base in layers not exceeding 100 mm. watering and compaction to the required density in OMC with PRR including hire and running charges of PRR and cost, conveyance of all materials etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing , laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates using IRC Gr-III size granite metal to Water Bound Macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel roller 8-10 tonne in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requsite type of screening / blinding materials as crusher dust to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per clause 404 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision)

Cleaning the existing BT surface including removal of foreign materials with wire brushes and small picks, sweeping with brooms or soft brushes and finally dusting with old gunny bags and/or compressed air to receive bituminous treatment.

Providing & applying Primer coat including all cost, conveyance, taxes, labour, T&P etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (By Mechanical Means)

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.6 Kg/sqm using mechanical clause 502 of MOSRT & H specifications for raod and bridge works(4th. revision)

20mm thick premix carpet using 0.27cum of 13.2mm 5.6mm size broken chips and 14.60kg. penetration grade of bitumen for 10sqm including hand packing to proper camber and consolidation with PRR inclusive of hire and running charges of PRR , hot mix plant, bitumen boilers and all other T & P articles including cost and conveyance of chips and bitumen complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
