Preparation of Seed Balls in the nurseries of Marwah Forest Range for sowing/dibbling in the proposed units , old units & in the degraded areas especially in the land slide prone areas for stabilization (67000 Nos.) and cost of preparing material i.e clay, FYM and Coco peat/ Husk under CAMPA NPV 2023-24 Work includes;i) Mixing of 1 Portion of soil with half portion of Farm-Yard Manure and traces of Husk /Coco peat. ii) Adding water to make good mixture and preparation of dough. iii) Taking small quantity of dough in hand and rolling into ball .creating a hole in the middle of ball and placing 2-3 seeds of Deodar/Kail in the hole and roll. iv) Rolling and compaction of seed balls . v) Drying of seed balls under shade for 48 hours at least.
