REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF EXTERNAL ELECTRICAL WATER SUPPLY AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT DGBR AREA UNDER GE WEST DELHI CANTT 10

Disconnecting HT/LT sides of defective transformer of indoor/outdoor installed on PCC foundation of any capacity up to 630 KVA and then drainage of complete transformer oil. Opening of top cover with due care and removal of all HT/LT winding connections from bushing and then lifting of core by means of tripod and chain pulley with due care for inspection and ascertain it’s serviceability state after keeping it aside. Removal of all sludge and unwanted material from tank and core, lowering of core assembly after carrying out required replacement of HT/LT bush. In case the repairs which are not possible at site then the transformer has to be taken to the work shop for repairs complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) The cost of following items shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate of this item:- (i) The cost of transportation. (ii) The cost of rewinding HT/LT coils. (iii) The cost of replacement of spares required for making transformer serviceable. (b) The following items shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of the BOQ/Sch ‘A’:- (i) The cost of dehydration/filtration’ (ii) The cost of transformer oil .

Dehydration/filtration of transformer oil by centrifuging machine electrically operated including testing of transformer oil before and after filtration by means of oil testing machine, keeping the electrodes at 2.5 mm gap and to achieve die electric strength of filtered oil 50 KV and above complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and topping up transformer oil conforming to IS : 335 and withstand dielectric strength of 60 KV (when tested with 2.5 Gap electrode) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for excavation in trenches in soft soil n.exc 1.5 Mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 meter in depth for laying of cables/pole etc and getting out, trimming the site, forming bottom surface to required level complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for returning filling-in trenches including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers in soft/loose/dense soil n.exc 25 cm thick in each layer of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for sand cushioning with a layer of sand (Yamuna) 23 cm thick punned thickness (8 cm under and 15 cm above the cable) in trenches around the cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable covers for cable protection of class LV type 1 flat of size 250 x150 x 40 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty PVC sheathed LT 1100 volts grade cable with stranded aluminium conductor of size 3.5 core, cross sectional area 240 sqmm.

Supply and fix Bus bar chamber (kiosk box) made out of 16 SWG MS Sheet having front Openable shutter with locking arrangement of size 20 CM X 15 CM X 10 CM depth duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and provided with one SP MCB 6 Amp & four NO's 63 Amps rated aluminium bus bar strips fixed on porcelain insulator fixed to pole with and including MS Flat iron clamps 40 X 4 mm size with nuts,bolts,washers etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for writing of machine numbers on E/M plants with approved colour of paint, (not more than 15 digits) each letter of size not more than 25mm complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old surface of outdoor feeder pillar box of size not more than 2x1.5x1 metre size for painting externally removal of all rust/oil/grease and unwanted material and then two coats of synthetic enamel metallic paint by means of spray gun at site of installation of transformer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment of old painted steel surface of LT pole /strut along with nut ,bolts etc and appling one coat of red oxide primer and two coat of aluminiam paint including writing pole number with black synthetic enammeled paint and making alternative strip of black ,white and yellow paint from coping of pole to height of 0.50 mtr(as per existing) complete all as directed.
