MAINTENANCE SERVICING FOR GRASS CUTTING BY USE OF TWO TRACTOR WITH JUNGLE JIM TWO HAND GRASS CUTTING MACHINES AND ALL ASSOCIATED MATERIALS EQUIPMENT AND MORUN FILLING AT LOW LYING AREAS IN AIR FIELD AT ARAKKONAM

Material and labour for cutting of grass, shrubs, vegitation, bush, weed by mechanically operated slasher Jungle jim with tractor where ever required including removing of waste material obtained by cutting and cleaning both sides of runway and parallel taxi track (PTT) both side edges and removal of the spoil exc 250m but not exc 500m depsiting where as directed complete all as specified and as directed at site. Notes: (i) Contractor will arrange minimum all the time during the execution of the work his own mechanical slasher (set of two tractor and two Jungle Jim) one tipping trally of appropriate capacity with petrolium oil lubricants (POL) and two MT driver, two helpers. (ii) The minimum of out put of one mechanical tractor with jungle jim for one day is 10,000 sqm hence area of 20000sqm will be cosidered as one day of 8 hours time. (iii) The log sheet cum duty register will be maintained by the contractor for record of work done and running of the tractor, this register will be signed by contractor, JE(civil), and Engineer-in-charge. (iv) The quoted rate by contractor is including of all T&P, POL, operators, helpers as mentioned above. (v) Rates for ideal charges for machinery and operators will be considered to be inclusive in the rates quoted by the contractor. (vi) The contractor shall take all possible safety measures to safe guard his work man and their employees by wearing all necessary personal protective equipments (PPE), safety helmets, protective footwear, googles and safety spectacles,gloves,reflective clothes, including masks against COVID-19, etc. (vii) In case of any accident / mis-happening the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation if any to the work man, the Govt will not have any liability on these accounts and contractor is advised to quote the tender accordinly cosidering all these aspects.

Material and labour for cutting of grass, shrubs, vegitation, bush, weed by 02 Nos brush cutter operated slasher where ever required including removing waste of material obtained from cutting and cleaning (both side) from the edges of runway and PTT and removal of the spoil beyond 250m but not exc 500m and deposited where as directed complete all as specified and as directed at site. Notes: (i) Contractor will arrange his own brush cutter machines and operator with POL. (ii) The minimum of out put of brush cutters for one day is 1000 sqm after removal of spoil upto the entire satisfactory of Engineer-in-charge cosidered as one day. Note for item no 1 to 2: All works to be executed inside technical area. The site for the work will be available in piece meal and also may be in non flying days. No claim for nonavailability of site in every working days will be entertained. Contractor shall quote his rates considering the above bottlenecks.

Surface dressing n exc 15 cm deep in soft/loose soil including clearning away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area under clearance.

Material and labour for Moorum / red bajri filling , laid in layers n exc 15cm thick , spread, levelled and rammed including watering.

Rolling and consolidating with tandem vibrator power roller exc 8 tonne and n exc 12 tonne
