REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF SECURITY LIGHTS, STREET LIGHTS, OBSTRUCTION LIGHTS, FLOOD LIGHTS, PERIMETER LIGHTS, HIGH MAST LIGHTS AND ALLIED WORKS IN DOMESTIC/TECHNICAL AREA AT AF STATION YELAHANKA

Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep for laying of cables, pipes, foundation for poles etc., and getting out in hard/dense soil all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in excavated soil upto a depth of 30 cm after riddling of excavated soil (in lieu of sand) for cushioning of cable and refilling of trenches with left over normal excavated soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point all as directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, Type I flat, size 250 mm x 150mm x 40mm all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation complete all as directed by Eng-in-cahrge.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) for stay and couping for poles including necessary form work to exposed surface finished smooth and even all of specified and directed.

M & L for Steel tubular swaged poles 9 metre long complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified type 410 SP-31 including two coats of silver painting over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

Supply and laying in trenches, LT underground cable, XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100 Volts grade, cross sectional area 6 Sqmm, 2 core multistranded including cable connecting lugs, glands,jointing materials etc., laid in trenches, floors, roof, ducts and fixing using clamps, saddle for pole, wall complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

Preparing of old faded paint surface and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint to existing LT PCC/RCC/Steel tubular poles of size 9 m long up to the height of 1.2 m from the bottom with approved white and blue colour alternatively including pole number with paint same as existing earlier complete all as directed by Eng-in-Charge.

Preparing of old faded painted surface of 9 m long steel tubular pole complete including all accessories such as cross arms, bracings, brackets etc and painitng with two coats of aluminium paint of approved make including writing pole number with paint same as existing earlier complete all as directed by Eng-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair LED street light fitting 45 Watt 230 V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum hosing and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp bracket with impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics with IP-66 protection, CCT 5700K, lumen efficacy not less than 110 lumen/watts complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge.

Note: The Spares required for the maintenance will be measured & paid separately including labour and the rate quoted is deemed to be included only for checking, removing, re-fixing, cleaning & tightening etc complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repair three single core PVC insulated and sheathed copper conductor cable 2.5 Sqmm nominal size and one single core PVC insulated and sheathed copper conductor cable 2.5 Sqmm nominal size for earth continuity from main lines to the street light fittings after removing unserviceable one complete all as directed by Eng-in-Charge.

Supply and in repair fix three core PVC cable, FRLS with copper conductor round cable 1.5 Sqmm for connection from juction box to street light fittings complete all as directed by Eng-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair 415V 10KA 'B' curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB) of 40 to 100 Amps rating triple pole and neutral in the DB complete with connection testing and commissioning all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair 230V 10KA 'B' curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB) of 6 to 32 Amps rating single pole in the Junction box/DB complete with connection testing and commissioning all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling and taking down the complete high mast tower 16 to 20 mtr height by removing bolts and nuts at the bottom with the help of crane/motor and removing the worn out /cut stainless steel GI wire unservicable pulley,shafts checknuts etc including fixing new spares,applying grease, checking and rectifying mechanical and electrical connections and re-erecting the same after making functional of all components complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge Note:- (i) Necessary Spares shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item/items of the schedule as supply only. The rate for minor spares necessary for carryingout the repair work which are all not covered under the schedule shall also deemed to be included the quoted rate. (ii) The rate quoted deemed to be included the rate of all manpower including technicians, crane operator etc. and all tools and plants including crane/motor required to carryout above work. (iii) The light assembly shall also be checked twice in the contract period other than the repairing time by taking down the light assembly from top to bottom and taking up to the original position (i.e. from bottom to top) after completing the repair work if any including checking the serviceability of high mast operating mechanism.

Supply only reverse forward switch suitable for existing high mast light tower 15 mtr to 20 Mtr height all as specified.

Supply only galvanised steel wire rope 8 mm dia 30 mtr long suitable for existing high mast light tower 15 mtr to 20 Mtr all as specified.

Supply only pulley suitable for geared motor of existing high mast light tower 15 to 20 mtr all as specified.

Material and labour Rewinding of 3 HP motor by taking to workshop and removing cut/burnt winding and rewinding with suitable size of copper wire and making the motor serviceable including testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair LED Street light fitting 10/12W, DC suitable for solar street light with pressure die cast aluminium housing with heat reristant glass & IP 65 Protection better option for uniform distribution of light & including with all accessories fixing on pole/wall complete with necessary connection and all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for fabrication of Rectangular box of size 59cmx26cmx45cm made from 2 mm thick GI sheet suitable to accommodate solar battery including locking arrangements, providing support at the bottom and necessary fixing arrangements to fix the box on the pole and applying two coats synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including write pole No as per existing including taking down of old unservicable box all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacing the unserviceable batteries of solar street light with maintenance free sealed battery of size 120 AH 12V including taking out old unservicealbe batteries all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and washing of each solar street light panel once in a month to remove layer of dust and dirt from panels by simply wash the panel with water and rub the panel surface with a sponge. Note : (a) Do not use a metal grush or detergent to clean the solar panel surface. (b) The contract period is six months, hence each panel will be cleaned and washed six time and will be measured as one job. (c) Rates deemed to be inculded labour, water and sponge charges.
