Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of 20 x 3 mm copper strip fixed to wall on insulators or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc , including taking down existing unserviceable copper strip, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of 25 x 3 mm aluminium strip fixed to wall on insulators or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc , including taking down existing unserviceable aluminium strip, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of galvanised iron strip of size 25x4mm fixed to wall on insulators or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc , including taking down existing unserviceable galvanised iron strip, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Epoxy base insulators of suitable size 40mm height for fixing GI earth strip on wall/ceiling/floor/poles etc. including taking down existing unserviceable insulators, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Galvanized tubes 50 mm bore light grade for protection of GI strip/ Air termination etc. in trenches/ road/ nallah or fixed along wall/ pole including mild steel clamps, screws etc, including taking down of old rusted galvanized iron tube , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: TATA/ JINDAL/ BST.

Rigid non metallic PVC conduit 40 mm dia exclusive of boxes (junction/terminal ) but inclusive of all tees ,bends ,elbows ,reducers ,bell mouth , tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers ,lock ,nuts,saddles,pipe,hooks etc.including taking down of old rusted pipe tube , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with G I earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm burried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to G I earth strip 4 dia G I wire by means of brass bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) connected to main switch board or any other electrical equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2009 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm bore medium grade GI pipe for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber, pit cover of precast RCC (1:2:4), type B-1, reinforced XPM of weight not less than 4 kg/ Sq.m and MS frame etc. including replacment of old unserviceable earthing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The unit rate includes earth lead and protection pipe up to maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate to earth point/test point. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed minimum 0.5 metre away from earth.

Chemical earthing with one No of copper earth plate of size 900 x 600 x 5 mm & copper earth strip 32 x 6 mm buried in ground vertically to a depth not less than 3.5 metre below ground level with top edge earth electrode at a depth not less than 2.50 metre deep below ground level mixture should be filled 15 cm above top edge of earth plate including suitable quantity of backfill chemical compound for filling in each pit to cover earth electrode minimum 100 mm all around and electrode shall be jointed with the copper strip of size 32 x 6 mm by exhothermic weld complete with earth pit chamber of size 300 x300 mm and RCC cover for demarking the location of earth electrode location, including takinh down of old unserviceable earthing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make of Back Fill Compound: Tercel (Isogel) (Australia)/ Indelec (Xgel) (France)/ ERICO (GEM) (USA)/ LPF (Reslo) (Australia) (Note :- (i) The quantity of Backfill compound and depth of earth pit can be increased by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. The complete earth system shall be guaranteed to give result less than 1 ohm resistance.. The testing of each earthing shall be carried out in presence of Engr-in-charge and test results shall be submitted duly signed by all concered while claiming payments.) (ii) Earth strip with protection pipe 50mm GI light grade upto 7.5 meter is deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (iii) Complete earthing will be redone at no extra cost to department, if result is not found below 1 ohm.

Contract Amount shall be derived after affecting the amount of Schedule of Credit in General Summary on serial page No 15 of tender documents.
