(g) Tightening of all nuts and bolts.
(h) Greasing of components wherever required.
(j) Checking for leakage in fuel and lubricating oil lines.
(k) Cleaning of fuel tank, when due.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted exposed surfaces of DG Set, including removal of dirt, dust, grease, oil etc., and painting of exposed surfaces of DG Set including all accessories fixed to the DG Set, with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Applicable for Kirloskar DG Sets of capacity 320 to 400 kVA.

Providing and installing Chemical Earthing Set consisting of 2 Nos. copper bonded earthing rods of 17.2 mm diameter and 10 feet length, UL approved and CPRI tested for 25 kA current discharge, complete. The copper bonded rods shall be of low carbon high tensile steel core with minimum 99.9% copper coating on surface. UL approval certificate shall be submitted. The earthing pit shall be filled with highly conductive, eco-friendly ground enhancing compound conforming to IEC 62561-7, quantity not less than 30 kg per pit, including polymer pit cover, excavation, refilling, watering, testing and making earth resistance satisfactory, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Labour only for cleaning of entire floor and wall surface area of Command Swimming Pool using brush or suction sweeper to prevent development of algae, including scraping of foreign materials, removal of dirt from bottom and side walls, and anti-bacterial treatment using approved chemical disinfectant, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (a) This cleaning work is in addition to the daily cleaning of the swimming pool covered under Schedule Item above. (b) Cleaning shall be carried out once in a week with not less than two labourers, or as directed.

Material and labour for construction of valve chamber in repair, complete, as per the following specifications and dimensions, all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge: (a) Foundation: Providing and laying PCC 1:4:8 (using 40 mm graded aggregate) for foundation, of size 1.80 m × 1.80 m × 0.15 m thick. (b) Brick Masonry: Brick masonry in 230 mm thick walls in cement mortar 1:6, with inside finished clear size 1.20 m × 1.20 m × 1.20 m height, complete. (c) Coping: Providing and laying PCC coping 100 mm thick in cement concrete 1:2:4 on top of brick masonry walls. (d) MS Angle Frame: Providing and fixing MS angle iron frame made out of 50 × 50 × 6 mm angle iron, complete with cutting, welding and fixing.
(e) MS Cover Plate: Providing and fixing 5 mm thick MS chequered/plain plate cover with swivel joint, fixed to MS angle frame, overall size 1.10 m × 1.30 m, including: MS round handle 10 mm dia, 200 mm long, Locking arrangement, One rectangular inspection opening 100 × 150 mm, duly hinged, welded and finished complete. (f) Plastering: Providing 10 mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 on inside surfaces of chamber and on outside exposed surfaces above ground level, complete. (g) Painting: Painting MS frame and MS plate with one coat of red oxide primer followed by two coats of synthetic enamel paint (red colour), complete. M&L for Disconnecting motor power cables of various sizes from electrical motor of different capacities and decoupling from the pump sets,removing and taking down carefully and transporting to authorised workshop ,Dismantaling stator and rotor carefully and rewinding stator assembly with supper enamelled copper winding wire of suitable gauge matching to existing gauge and cleaning of slots ,core with carbon tetra chloride solution and apply two coats of insulation varnish and keep stator assembly in heating chamber to improve insulation strength ,reassemble motor completey and transporation to site ,coupling pump to motor and check for proper shaft alignments such that no vibratiobn produce during opertioncoupling to pump with exact allinment ,connect power cables to motor and testing of following capacity motor
Supply and laying in replacement of copper unarmoured power cable of size 25 sqmm from motor starter panel to motor, laid in HDPE pipe in ground, including excavation, sand cushioning, laying of HDPE pipe, cable pulling, termination with suitable lugs, testing and making good disturbed surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning Of type approved retrofit emission control device (RECD) suitable for existing DG set of capacity 320 KVA to reduce emission level as per latest CPCB-IV norms. 1.1) Emission limits as per CPCB-IV+ norms: Power Category: More than 19KW upto 56 KW:- Emission Limits: Particulate matter (PM 2.5) ≤ 0.03 g/kW-hr, Carbon Monoxide ≤ 3.5 g/kW-hr , NOx+HC ≤ 4.7 g/kW-hr, Smoke Limit (Light Absorption Coefficient, m^(-1)) ≤ 0.7 Power Category: More than 56KW upto 560 KW:- Emission Limits: Particulate matter (PM 2.5) ≤ 0.02 g/kW-hr, Carbon Monoxide ≤ 3.5 g/kW-hr , NOx ≤ 0.4 g/kW-hr, HC ≤ 0.19 g/kW-hr, Smoke Limit (Light Absorption Coefficient, m^(-1)) ≤ 0.7
1.2) RECD being installed on DG set must reduce the emission parameters through it within above specified limits of latest CPCB norms. RECD commissioning will be approved all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge after production of test reports of the DG sets as per CPCB format by installation team OEM or by NABL approved Lab of emission of all parameters as specified above in CPCB norms of before installation and showing reduction in emission parameters after installation of RECD device as per latest CPCB emission limits. 2) Particulate Matter capturing efficiency: Minimum capturing efficiency of 70%, type approved by one of the five CPCB recognized labs. 3) RECD should be manufactured using various technologies such as Wet Scrubber, Electrostatic Percipitator (ESP) and Catalytic conversion. 4) Emission monitoring from stack shall be tested from any NABL approved Lab. 5) Insulation on emission device: Glass wool with aluminium cladding with 22G sheet. 6) RECD power requirement : Less than 1% of the capacity used for operation.
TEST REPORTS Certification :- Device should be ‘Type Approved’ as per the System and Procedure of Central Pollution Control Board for Emission Compliance Testing of Retro-fit Emission Control Devices (RECD) For Diesel Power Generating Set Engines. Test reports as per CPCB format has to be produced showing reduction in emission of above specified parameters along with noise reduction report. Adhering to this, RECD to be ‘Type Tested’ for an equivalent kVA family as per the System and Procedure from any one of the four Central Pollution Control Board, Govt, of India, recognized/approved test agencies/laboratories as given below: (a) Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI, Pune) (b) International Centre for Automotive Testing (ICAT, Manesar) (c) Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP, Dehradun) (d) Vehicle Research Development Establishment (VRDE, Ahmednagar) (e) Indian Oil Corporation, Research and Development Centre (Faridabad, Haryana) Back Pressure due to the Emission Control retrofit device :- It shall have no effect on exhaust back pressure (as per the capacity of the DG set)
General Technical Requirements (GTR) / Commissioning :- a) Emission Control retrofit device shall be complete with safety precautions to ensure no damage should be done to the DG set operations under any circumstances. The Emission Control retrofit device should be closely coupled with the DG exhaust to ensure 100% of the exhaust passes through the Emission Control retrofit device. b) Anti-Vibration mountings shall be provided for complete Emission Control retrofit device in case of flexible coupling with the diesel generator exhaust. c )Emission Control retrofit device should have protection against under voltage, over voltage, under frequency, over frequency, low battery voltage, over current, earth-fault, short circuit, phase sequence change etc. d) The Emission Control retrofit device shall be with corrosion resistive and HR paint. e) The OEM shall provide the trial run (Testing) of Emission Control retrofit device. The OEM shall conduct trial run of the Emission Control retrofit device with the available electrical load at site. The trial run shall be for min TWO hours. The electrical loading shall not be more than the rated capacity of the DG set. Test report has also to be provided by OEM or any Testing Agency accredited through NABL Lab for DG Testing that shows a reduction in emission limits of the DG set after installation of RECD device within the limits as prescribed above. (Before and After test reports have to be submitted compulsorily after the installation of RECD device) f) Exhaust piping, extra civil work, distribution board shall be installed as per OEM company g) Educating customer on usage, operation and maintenance to be done on installation by OEM.
Scope of Installation :- a) Installation, testing and commissioning of Emission Control Retrofit Device is inclusive in the scope of supply and shall be done by the OEM along with electric control panel with necessary wiring and all its accessories for smooth operation of RECD with DG set. No by-pass arrangement in RECD allowed to let the pollutants in open environment. b) Construction of all suitable civil work, earthing station (if applicable) and necessary connections shall be done by contractor through OEM and no extra payment paid to contractor on this account. c)Warranty/Service ;- 2 years in all respect or as per specified by approved OEM post completion of work. d)Number of preventive maintenance visits offered in a year during warranty period :- 2 visits.
Supply and fixing in repairs of PVC water storage tank, round type, triple-layer, pure anti-microbial, complete with cover, including dismantling of existing tank and foundation, and construction of new PCC foundation, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) The PCC foundation shall be of size not less than 100 mm larger than the diameter of the tank on all sides, and minimum 200 mm height, including all necessary earthwork, levelling and curing. (b) The item shall also include making all inlet, outlet and overflow connections, including replacement of GI fittings such as tank nipple, washers, float valve, and necessary connections to existing delivery lines, complete. Applicable for the following tank capacities as specified in the Schedule.

Supply and fixing in repair of flow meter, 150 mm nominal diameter, flanged end, Class ‘B’, including cutting of existing pipeline, welding, provision of DI fittings, nuts, bolts, gaskets and all jointing materials as required at site, including alignment, testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing in repair/replacement of galvanised steel water tubing, medium grade, with all fittings such as nipples, unions, sockets, elbows, bends, etc., fixed to wall in shafts / service ducts, including cutting and removal of existing corroded GI pipes, replacement in short lengths or full lengths, as required. Note : (a) The item shall include breaking of existing brick masonry or wall surfaces for removal and replacement of GI pipes laid in/on walls, and making good disturbed surfaces to match existing finishes, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (b) The work shall be carried out in high-rise buildings up to 14th floor, including work in shafts, terraces, plain walls and inside flats, complete. (c) Work includes cutting of existing GI pipeline and replacement with new GI pipes in short pieces or full length, as required at site.

Supply and fixing in repairs of MS ERW pipes, heavy grade, ISI marked, suitable for pump suction and delivery lines, including all necessary fittings, flanges, gaskets, nuts and bolts, cutting, welding, jointing and testing, complete. (A)The work shall also include providing PCC supports wherever required, laying pipes in trenches or fixing on walls, and fabrication of pipe layout to required shape and alignment at site by cutting and welding in pieces, complete. (B) The exposed MS pipes shall be cleaned and painted with one coat of red oxide primer followed by two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
