EARTHWORK EXCAVATION:

Earth work in excavation including clearing away vegetation, if any, in foundations, trenches, drains etc., in all type of soft/loose soil as classified in the specifications, in both dry and wet conditions, including back filling, dewatering, ramming and compacting of excavated earth into the space between the building or into the plinth, foundations as per specification, and removal and stacking of excavated material within 250 meter lead from the foundation trenches / pit before backfilling and final disposal (final disposal of surplus excavated material and or disposal from excavation pits, shall be paid under relevant item) including spreading and compacting as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and also including all materials, labour and T & P etc., for proper completion of all other activities as mentioned in the description of work working space/ ramp / side slope cutting to be done by contractor as per requirement of safety / work, but no extra payment shall be made for this).From average ground level to 3 m depth.

Transport & Disposal:

Disposing off surplus earth or shale or rock, carriage of surplus material by mechanical transport beyond 250m after filling sides of foundations and buildings, excavations, trenches and plinth as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and also including supply of all materials, labour and T & P etc. for proper completion of work, including spreading, dressing and compacting in layers as per specifications. Within the plant boundary.

Filling & Compaction:

Plain & Reinforced Concrete work:

Providing and laying machine mixed plain cement concrete with cement, approved coarse sand and 40/20 mm nominal size graded coarse aggregate in the proportion at all depths / heights & thickness of 1:4:8 including supply of all materials, labour and T & P required for proper completion of work excluding shuttering (Shuttering, shall be paid under relevant item)

Providing machine mixed cement concrete of controlled grade M-30, using 20 mm and down size graded coarse aggregate of approved stone, approved coarse sand and cement for structures reinforced heavily or lightly including providing & mixing of any integral compound, additives, placing concrete in position in foundation and superstructures of any required size and shape such as slabs, beams, columns - rectangular/circular/ square/ T shaped/L shaped etc., including those constructed in any shape and any size, all arrangements of staging, scaffolding, hoisting, transporting of concrete to its final position, forming pockets, leaving openings, providing and fixing sleeves, embedding necessary inserts of any description, size and shape not exceeding 100 Kg/piece in weight, holding down bolts, hooks, angles, channels, pipes, anchor plates etc. including (Fabrication and Erection of all inserts holding down bolts, anchor plates, pipes, bolts and nuts etc. vibrating, curing, rendering and finishing if required to give a smooth and even Surface etc. and also including supply of all required materials, labour T&P etc. required for proper completion of work, all complete for the respective levels, anchor bolts, anchor plates as per drawing to be provided wherever required and same should be got checked / inspected by CCI mechanical dept., and mechanical contractor combined prior to laying concrete. Also necessary grouting with grouting materials GP-2 (Fosroc make) to laid as per requirement. Cost of these materials to be borne by contractor (Civil).

Formwork: Providing and fixing in position to correct line level and plumb plain form work and shuttering in all shapes, sizes and directions including curved surface and requirements like in cantilever, column, beam, slab coffer slabs/ribbed slabs etc. of wooden/ ply board, MS sheets, GI sheets, processed board or any other approved materials of rigid design, faces dressed with approved form oil; to prevent adhesion of concrete to forms etc., including splayed edges, notching, allowance for overlap passing angles, battens, strutting, casing, bolting, nailing etc., racking or circular cutting etc., including leaving necessary recesses, openings for pockets, inserts etc., including providing and fixing all staging scaffoldings, struts, braces, supports, props etc., including easing, striking and removing from site etc. all complete. The rate should also include supply of all materials, labour and T & P etc. required for satisfactory completion of works all complete for the respective levels as under :- Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc and removal of form for

Reinforcement Steel Works:

straightening, cleaning, cutting, bending to required shape and lengths as per Bar Bending Schedules and placing of Tor steel in all types of RCC work including structures of slip form/curved constructions for all heights and depths specified in drawings, with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers etc. fixing and binding of reinforcement with 16 SWG black soft annealed wire (Binding wire will not be measured and paid for separately). as approved by Engineer-in-Charge. The rate shall include cost of labour, cost of binding wire, preparation of detailed bar bending schedule (BBS) etc. required for satisfactory completion of works all complete for all levels and lifts including fixing of insert plates, anchor bolts and anchor plates etc., Kindly quote labour rate only.(Steel will be issued by CCI free of Cost)

Fixing of Foundation Bolts

Fixing 20 mm foundation bolt in RCC column at 3.0 Mtr Ht to be imbedded in 400mm in concrete including leveling and alignment. Bolt will be supplied by CCI only labour rate has to be quoted for fixing the bolt
