SPL REPAIR TO OLD RUSTED PORTION OF CI WATER SUPPLY LINE BETWEEN BERTHUMA FILTRATION PLANT TO KUMAON HILL SEMI UNDER GROUND SUMP UNDER GE SAUGOR

Excavation in trenches hard / dense soil n.exc. 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as per specified and directed.

Removing excavated material outside MD land n.exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 m above the starting point in soil complete all as per specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as per specified and directed.

Taking up old unserviceable cast iron water mains ( including all fittings ), with spigot and socket ends and rubber tightning joints including burning out lead joints if any and recovering lead for the size 450 mm / 300 mm dia complete all as per specified and directed.

Supply, lay, connecting, jointing and testing Centrifugally cast ( Spun ) Ductile iron Pressure pipe ISI Marked confirming to IS-8329-2000 ( Reaffirmed -2005 Edition 4.1 ) of dia 450 mm with socket spigot ends, suitable for "Push on Joints ( Tyton Joint )" each standard working lengths supplied with rubber gaskets duly ISI marked for water supply, Class K-9 with socket with cement mortar lining inside and metallic Zinc coating with finishing layer of bituminous paint on outside the pipe with out polythylene sleeves but including "Push on Joint" supplied with ISI Marked EPDM rubber gasket conforming to IS-5382-1985 ( reaffirmed-2003 ) laid in trenches complete all as per specified and directed. Make: Electrosteel / TATA / Jindal or Equivalent of make As approved by this HQ.

Supply and lay connecting, jointing and testing of Ductile iron pipe fittings ( Specials ) heavy duty for any type ( flanged / socketed ) pipes such as, bends ( any type radius, and angle ), tapers, any type straight bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc. Tee pieces, ring branch, Y junction, double branch, cross ( all socket or socket and spigot ), collars, caps and plugs, adapters etc. of any size radius and length conforming to IS 9523 / 2000 specifications with external bitumen coating and internal cement mortor lining and metallic zinc coating of size upto 450 mm bore complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for taking out old unserviceable sluice valve and replace with CI Sluice valve of size 450 mm bore with flanged ends, cast iron body flanged and drilled end non rising type, brass spindle with nuts, class PN-1.6 suitable for following size as per IS:14826, ISI marked including all joints with rubber or fibre board, bolts and nuts, washer complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for taking out old unserviceable Non Return Valve and replace with new Non Return Valve of size 450 mm bore with flanged ends, cast iron body flanged and drilled end non rising type, brass spindle with nuts, class PN-1.6 suitable for following size as per IS:14826, ISI marked including all joints with rubber or fibre board, bolts and nuts, washer complete all as per specified and directed.

Taking down and replacement of Air release valve 100 mm Double chamber IS -14845 complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for construction of brick masonry valve pit of internal dimension 1.5 M x 1.5 M x 1 M complete with MS angle iron frame work ( angle iron size 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm) and 3.15 mm thick MS black sheet top cover openable through hinges of suitable size confirming to Fe 410-o and Fe 310-o including welding cutting hinges locking arrangement complete necessary earth work, PCC, locking arrangement, rendering complete with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer to all iron surfaces complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of bituminous Road / floor / plinth protection for laying pipe n.exc. 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5 depth and 10 Sqm on plan and n.exc. 1.5 m depth and additional 1.5 m or thereof in depth beyond first 1.5 m including returning refilling with excavated material and watering well ramming / compacting and making good with PCC 100 mm thick complete all as per specified and directed. Note: PCC shall be measured under paid separately.

M&L for PCC type B 2 ( 1:2:4 ) ( Using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in foundations, filling and mass concrete as in filling and making good distrubed surface complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for run lead joint for spigot and socket pipes and fittings of size 450 mm dia complete all as per specified and directed.
