Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

GST will be paid as per the present rates at 18%, if GST revises (Increases or Decreases) same shall be paid accordingly as per the Govt Circular No: FD 417 EXP-12/2024 Date: 09/08/2024.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of KPPP portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer should give all details and documents as per Technical and Financial bid attached to this tender.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs.

All necessary arrangements shall be made and precaution taken to prevent completely or partially, damage to the structure or labours / employees during construction period. (As per recent Labour Act) Contractor shall be fully responsible for any damage to the structure during the construction and maintainance period. Any damage caused due to any reasons shall be rectified / replaced at his own cost as per the direction of Engineer in charge. Nothing shall be payable by the Department on account of inclusive of all such arrangements/ precautions work needed.

As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards labour welfare fund.

The employer reserves the rights to Reject one or all Tenders without assigning any reasons.

The Item Rates quoted shall include cost of Royalty charges on constructive materials & other taxes as per the rates prevailing Government Orders at the time of execution and including cost and conveyance of all materials, curing, loading and unloading with all leads and lifts, labour, hire charges of machinery & equipment etc., complete and all incidental charges. All the items shall be executed as directed by the Engineer-in-charge of work.

The awarded Contractor has to Submit his bills through e-MB for payment.( Billing is through e-Mb ie: Contractor has to produce Soft copy and hard Copy of RA or Final bill for payments)

Department will not supply any materials.

The construction materials (minerals metal ,sand and Murom) shall be bought from the authorized quarries along with the mineral dispatch permit or else 5 times the royalty will be deducted as penalty as per the Directions on the Director, Mines and Geology Department Bangalore proceedings dated 25.03.2013.

The amount put to tender and tendered amount are exclusive of GST.

As per Karnataka state Government order LD/95/LET/2013 Bangalore dated 01.04.2013 the Contractor shall be registered under section 7 of Buildings and other Construction workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act and the construction labour shall get the registration under section 12 of the act before making payment of running bills

All materials required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer himself and should be got tested by the quality control authorities at his own cost before use on work.

Star rates are not applicable .

The Earnest Money Deposit Total Rs. 10100/- shall be made in single payment in favour of Executive Engineer PWD, Division, GADAG.

Work Completion/Execution Period : 04 Months(INCLUDING MONSOON PERIOD)

Royalty Charges will be Deducted in every bill of contract as per rules

The Increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time

All safety precautions warning signs night illumination reflectors deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untoward incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity. The contractor should indemnify the client to that extent

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the standard tender documents KW-1 KPWD and further orders thereon

Within 20 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit for an amount 5% of the Contract price

Any Deviation or error or Mistakes found in units of items they should be read as in the unified SR 2023-24 and Continued to 2025-26 the rates shall be quoted accordingly

This bid documents clause No. 34.4 to be implemented as per deligation of power vide GO No. 423 FC-1 2018 Bangalore dated 24.09.2018

Conditional tenders are not accepted

The Contractor belonging to the Scheduled Caste shall be domicile of the State of Karnataka for more than 10 years Compulsory

Contractors registered under class-1 and 2 may tender for works anywhere in the state.Contactors registered under class-3 may tender for works within the districts of the PWD circles where in they are registered. Contactors registered under-4 may tender for works within the districts or within the division whichever is applicable

Tenderer shall note that the Tenders of those found Eligible as mentioned in Clause 3 - Qualification of the Tenderer in Section 2 Instructions to Tenderer I T T will only be considered for evaluation

The Tenderer should be a PWD Registered Class IV & above contractor.

As per the Secial Gazzette Finance Secretriat Notification No 876 Exp-12/2017 Bengaluru Dated 15.09.2017 & Govt order No-FD-506 EXP-12/2024 Bngalore DT:20.08.2024 the following conditions shall apply for the works reserved for Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribes & Category-I and Category IIA If no Qualified Tenderers belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes & Category-I and Category IIA Participate in the bid in two attempts under this rule, then these two works shall be tendered as open catergory wherein all eligible bidders of General or Scheduled castes and Scheduled Tribes & Category-I and Category IIA can participate.
