REPAIR/MAINTENANCE TO INTERNAL ROADS AND CONNECTED WORKS INCLUDING ROAD FURNITURE IN AOR OF AGE B/R II UNDER GE NARANGI.

Amount

Material and labour for repairs to potholes, not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by filling in screened & graded road metals, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metals) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Scariying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm deep in area not exceeding 400 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 75 mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate with lime stones, sand stones, flint or quartize of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 4.00 here-in-before but except materials complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing of un-surfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour using Paving bitumen VG-10, for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour using Paving bitumen VG-10, for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) The quoted rate shall be worked out on the basis of binder contents (bitumen VG-30) of 4% by weight of total mix. (ii) Work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by GE with 4% VG-30 bitumen by weight of total mix.

Material and labour for providing bituminous premixed carpet 40mm consolidated thickness with 0.54 cum of stone chipping mixed with 29.20 Kg of binder (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) per 10Sqm, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient etc. complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- The work of Premix carpeting shall be done using HOT MIX PLANT and laying of bituminous premix carpet shall be done using MECHANICAL PAVER only.

Material and labour for premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of paving bitumen, applied and rolled to a uniform surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of OLD / NEW bituminus surfaces of road including cleaning of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and foreign material and applying and making 2.5 mm thick center lines or other lines, stop lines, strip straight line, Zebra crossing, dashes arrows etc. and the like of any width, on road pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved brand and colour (white or yellow), conforming to BS 3262-1989 with glass grit @ 300 gms/Sqm over painted surfaces while the painting surfaces are hot, application of thermo plastic road marking paint using automatic mechanical mahine (special application machine) all as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of OLD / NEW bituminus surfaces of road including cleaning of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and foreign material and painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow and with adequate No. of coats, all as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of OLD / NEW bituminus surfaces of road including cleaning of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and foreign material and painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements and the like n.exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow and with adequate No. of coats, all as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix IN REPAIRS, colour reflective pavement marker (CAT EYE) of colour white / Red / Yellow with Micro prismatic lens in both direction having Thermoplastic body with flex resistent base & abrasion resistent coating, fixing on road surfaces with special adhesive and suitable revit head nail, provided at site as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix IN REPAIRS, Sparkels Road Studs of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm, high with detacheable battery six LEDs, three on each side, ultra bright LED in Red colour, complete water resistent and weather proof using fixing on road surfaces with special adhesive and fixing procedure as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix IN REPAIRS, retangular shape delineator of 100mm x 1100mm x 20mm with high intensity grade reflective sheeting Bands in white colour duly powder coated, fixed complete with and including all necessary excavation and earth work required for erretion using PCC Type B-1, 1:2:4 using 20 mm graded coarse aggregates for PCC for fixing of pole of Heavy Duty delineator in excavated pit of size 300mm x 300mm x 300 mm, complete, all as per manufacturer's instructions and as specified and directed. Supply and fix IN REPAIRS, Road safety convex mirror 80cm dia polycarbonate unbreakable round wide angle driveway mirror with adjustable brackets and nuts , bolts for installation with 50 mm dia GI pipe fixed, complete with and including all necessary excavation and earth work required for erretion using PCC Type B-1, 1:2:4 using 20 mm graded coarse aggregates for PCC for fixing of pole of Heavy Duty delineator in excavated pit of size 300mm x 300mm x 300 mm, complete, all as per manufacturer's instructions and as specified and directed. Material and labour for surface dressing in Soft/loose soil n exc 15 cm deep, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge at site.
