Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n. exc 1.5m depth for laying of cable, errection of poles, stay and pipe line,and getting out in soft/loose soil etc complete all as specified and directed

Returning & filling in and including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose of soil complete all as specified.

Removal of excavated soil to a distance n. exc 50 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Supply & laying of best quality bricks locally available sub class 'B' bricks (old size) for cable protection cover laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable prependicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Re-laying of old serviceable bricks as in cable protection cover, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable length of brick laid prependicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Old serviceable bricks obtained from item here-in-before shall be used under this item.

M&L for local sand coushioning with dry and clean river sand over and under the cable for protection of cable , 80 mm thick sand layer laid before laying the cable, 150 mm thick layer of sand after laying the cable and filling the sand in cable duct inside the sub station building complete all as specified and as directed. (Note:- Punned down thickness shall be measured for payment)

Taking out old serviceable/unserviceable LT UG cables of size 10 to 70 Sq mm 3.5/4 Core from trenches, poles/walls/ducts and floor including taking out old unserviceable/serviceable bricks covers/GI pipe of any size from trenches for removing or re-laying (after necessary repair/jointing) the cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old serviceable/unserviceable LT UG cables of size 95 to 400 Sq mm 3.5/4 Core from trenches, poles/walls/ducts and floor including taking out old unserviceable/serviceable bricks covers/GI pipe of any size from trenches for removing or re-laying (after necessary repair/jointing) the cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Laying only and connection of serviceable XLPE LT UG cable PVC insulated , bedded armoured heavy duty electric cable 1100 volts grade with aluminium conductor of following sizes laid in trenches or fixed on walls/floor/pole complete all as specified and as directed.

(a) 10 sqmm to 70 Sqmm 3.5/4 core

(a) 95 sqmm to 400 Sqmm 3.5/4 core

Supply and Laying XLPE LT UG cable PVC insulated , bedded armoured heavy duty electric cable 1100 volts grade with aluminum conductor of the following sizes laid in trenches or fixed on wall/floor/poles complete all as specified and as directed :-

(a)50 Sq mm 3.5 core

(b)70 Sq mm 3.5 core

(c)95 Sq mm 3.5 core

(d) 120 Sq mm 3.5 core

Supply and fixing in replacement of MS Chequered plate of 5 mm thick or over in thickness of Fe - 290 Gde E165 and fixed in substation building including making provision for lifting the plate from duct complete all as directeda and specified.

M&L for disconnecting all incoming and outgoing electric connection of stabilizer,opening from top and taking out U/S parts and fixing of new spare parts to make it functional etc complete all as specified and directed.

Note Quoted rate shall be deemed (i) Taking out transformer oil for repair of voltage stabilizer and repouring after repair of stabilizer. (ii) New spare part shall be measured and paid as supply only under respective items here in after.

Note for item no-15 & 16 : All extra materials required for connection and installing of ACB in existing panel including extension busbar should be included in the quoted rate by the contractor.

M&L for dismantling the cable connection of four pole ACB of capacity upto 1250 Amp, 415V 50Hz of as per existing make, strip opening the ACB, inspecting the parts for serviceability/overhauling complete and carrying out the following repairs/maintenance:- (a) Cleaning the insulation parts including bushing with CTC solution. (b) Checking the alignment and condition of movable and stationary contacts and adjust them all as per manufacturer’s instructional manual. (c) Check the bolts,nuts,washers,cotter pins and all terminal connections are in place and tightening and replacement of the worn out parts. (d) Check arc chutes for damage. (e) Clean and lubricate the operating mechanism with a non-hardening grease for the wearing surfaces, Adjust breaker operating mechanism all as per manufacturer’s instructional manual. (f) Checking/inspecting shunt trip coil for serviceability and replacing the same if required. (g) checking control device free for operation. (j) Check after servicing the circuit breaker to verify the contacts move to fully opened and fully closed positions, that ther is an absence of friction and that the electrical operation is functional. Note: (i)The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of T&P and minor spares like lubricants, nuts/bolts/washers/ pins etc. (ii) Major spares like shunt release & trip coil etc will be measured & paid separately under relevant schedule items.

Supply only auxiliary contact block suitable for ACB of 630 A to 1250 Amps as all per existing make.

APFC Relay/Capacitor/TSM/Reactor/Discharge Reactor & Power Analyzers shall have same make only & vendor/Manufacturer should have minimum 5 Year Supply, Installation & Product Experience, The OEM's specified cannot authorize any other partners / sub vendors to manufacture APFC Panels on their behalf.
