Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, for laying of pipe, cable etc or n. exc.10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated spoil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreading clean and dry fine sand free from sharp materials (unwashed) laying in trenches around the cable for cushioning in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed ( Note: Punned thickness will be measured for payment).

M&L for 40mm graded stone aggregate for spreading/ loose filling under 11 KV four pole, arround the transformer, substation and other places where directed. Note:- Contractor shall make regular heaps/ stacks for measurement of item before spreading/ filling.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling, mass concrete etc complete all as specified & directed.

Material and labour for providing Plain Cement Concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for coping of poles including necessary form work and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Dismantling of concrete poles/ struts, any size including stacking & removal from site complete all as directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable GI earth wire from HT over head lines including removal from site complete all as directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable ACSR conductors from HT over head lines including removal from site complete all as directed.

Dismantling of existing old cross arms, bracings, supports etc of any section, FI clamps, nuts, bolts, insulators etc. from OH line and checking for re-use & removal of unserviceable cross arms, bracing, supports etc from site complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of insulators any size/ type from poles including removal from site complete all as directed.

Dismantling of unserviceable stay assembly carefully including stay wire necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, demolition of PCC of any type and removing from site complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismentling of air break gang operated switch vertical/ horizontal mounted incluidng insulators and operating mechanism for repair/ replacement of broken/ worn out components and insulators etc. and removing from site complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying or fixing or passing in trenches/ on pole/ through pipes, 11000 volts (E) grade, XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 95 sqmm, 3 core conforming to IS 7098/ (PART-II) 1985 with latest amendments and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make:- Havells or Finolex or Gloster or Plaza or Universal as approved by GE. Note:- Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and cable protection shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make:- M SEAL or RAYCHEM or DENSON or CAB SEAL as approved by GE.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make:- M SEAL or RAYCHEM or DENSON or CAB SEAL as approved by GE.

Supply, fixing & connecting battery bank comprising of charging facilities, current transformer,voltmeter, ammeter, connection with Sheet steel enclosure with and including maintenance free lead acid rechargeable battery of 2 Volt, 100AH, 15 Nos connecting with each other with nut, bolts conforming to IS 15549/2005 and IEC 60896 - 21 & 22 for tripping system to HT breaker during fault occurence at 11 KV Sub station including connecting, wiring,cable plug top and making connection from VCB with required copper cable for making connection to VCB with required cable and testing on completion including taking down old unserviceable battery bank complete all as specified and directed. Make - Exide/Amco/Amron/Amar Raja or other equivalent Make as approved by GE

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth pipe, medium grade, 3000mm long with outer dia 65mm and inner dia 50mm, laid in ground by drilling in the ground with top edge not less than 1.25 metre below ground level and filling the back fill compound complete with all as required and directed, as per Electrical Plate No. 2, with 32x6 mm GI strip as earthing lead up to testing point and making the earth pit of PCC as per sample as required at site and testing after completion complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- GI strip from earth electrode to test point max upto 7.50M shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates as quoted by the contractor.

Supplying and fixing/ laying of 80mm bore dia GI pipe light grade in trenches/ under roads/ along pole/ wall including all fittings, ISI marked as required for cable protection etc after taking out the old unserviceable pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Drilling (Horizontally) to existing road (maximum 10M wide) suitable for passing GI tubing of dia upto 80mm/ 100mm as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- All necessary T&P required at site for drilling shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/ pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required with 32x6mm galvanised iron strip complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of 12 kV SF6 Ring Main Unit, compact, out door type, 630 Amps, rated capacity 25 kA for 1 sec having 2 vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) insulated in SF6, one load break switch (LBS) insulated in SF6 and one Bus PT panel extensible to right side RMU/ Outdoor, motorised having metering panel and copper bus bar of suitable ampere ratings complete with and including the followings:- Make of RMU:- Schneider or ABB or L&T as approved by GE. Notes: (i) Brief description of this item is "12 kV, SF6 Ring Main Unit complete with 2 Vacuum Circuit Breaker + 1 LBS+ 1 Bus PT Panel (Right side extensible / OUTDOOR). (E) The RUM shall also capable for the following : The RMU shall be gas insulated metal enclosed. The high grade steel gas tight tank shall inculde switch devices or circuit breaker, internal copper bus bar, bushings for cable connections, pressure relief device, copper earth bus bar. The drive cabinet shall contains a user friendly control panel with a mimic diagram, In this diagram the drive socket and position indicators for all switch devices are clearly arranged. there is an instrument compartment on top of the drive cabinet and it shall contain short circuit indicators for cable feeders, capacitive voltage detection system, standard Manometer. The auxiliary equipment like trip coils or aux contacts shall be wired to central termination blocks in each feeder . The switching devices shall have separate drive system, which are operated with non interchangable plug-in levers. A complete interrogator interlocking system reliably prevents control errors and ensures high operation convenience. The RMU shall compiled with stndarads IEC 62271-200, IEC 62271-200, IEC 62271-100, pressure of SF 6 gas shall be 1.3 bars at 20 deg C.
