   a)RDSO/CORE or as applicable approved firms are eligible to quote this rate contract tender and they have to enclose documentary evidence in support of the same.Offer of other firms shall be i g n o r e d b). Railways reserve the right to place entire contract on RDSO/CORE or as applicable approved firms for tendered items. Approval status shall be reckoned as on the date of tender opening and not thereafter, unless it is a case of removal/ suspension/banning. c). The offer of approved Supplier for the item tendered or the offer of the firm having tender specific authorization from RDSO/CORE approved Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the item tendered shall be considered for placement of Rate contract .Firms should enclosed RDSO/CORE vendor approved list for quoted particular items. If the item is decontrolled by RDSO/CORE then details of the same should be enclosed with covering letter.

   Firm should enclose previous latest Purchase order copy placed by any other Zonal Railway for tendred items.Firm are requested to provide the Railway P.L.Nos for tendered items separately for reference

Commercial-Compliance

   The tenderers in their bids shall indicate the details of their GST Jurisdictional Assessing Officers (Designation, address & email id). In case of a contract award, a copy of the LOA/Purchase Order shall be immediately forwarded by Purchaser to the Jurisdictional Assessing Officer mentioned in the Tenderer's bid.

   Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

   INSPECTION -BY RITES

   Splitting of quantity: : KRCL reserves the right to split the quantity to 2 or more bidders depend upon the capacity of firm and requirement to maintain uninterrupted supply of materials and to meet any urgency.

   Performance cum Warranty Bank Guarantee: : PBG shall be taken from tenderers at 5% of contract value for tender valuing between 25 Lakh to 50 Crores subjects to maximum limit of 50 Lakhs. For tenders above Rs.50 Crore e-PBG shall be Rs. 1 Crore. The performa for Bank Guarantee is as per Annexure-B, unless exempted specifically like RDSO/CORE approved sources. However authorized agents of OEM are not exempted.

   Bid Security / EMD: : Applicable for this contract ie Rs.50 Lakhs as per Railway board circular for stores tenders. Offers submitted without EMD shall be summarily rejected. Bid Security / EMD Exemption shall be given as per the extant Railway Board Circular, for eg- RDSO approved Sources / MSEs / Start up firms, etc.

   Integrity Pact: : Firms are requested to sign & submit integrity pact documents with offer. Format of integrity pact is enclosed in documents.

   Validity of Offer: No deviation from the offer validity period stipulated in the tender is permitted.

   Payment Terms: No deviation from the Payment Terms stipulated in the tender is permitted.
