Supply and Installation of Road delineators (Road way Delineators). The structure shall be manufactured of mild steel with pure polyester powder coating in black colour with minimum thickness of 40 micron for protection against corrosion. The delineator shall have retro-reflective sheeting of white colour with Type-XI specifications as per IRC:67-2022 and ASTM D 4956 on both the faces to ensure the clear visibility of the road alignment during night time to achieve enhanced visibility of the road alignment during night time to achieve enhanced visibility of the curved portion of the road. To prevent complete vandalism of above, the reflective sheeting shall be housed with concealed edges. The delineator shall confirm to clause 3 of IRC:79-2019, it shall have an ellipsoidal or circular design and shall be 800 to 900mm above the ground and shall extend 200 to 300mm below the groud fixed in foundation of 300 x 300 x 400 mm size block of cement concrete M-15. The execution shall be as per clause 806 of MORTH Specifications for Road and Bridge works.
Providing and fixing Raised Pavement Markers made of polycarbonate ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 Kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 type H and complying to specifications of category A of MORT&H(RW/NH-33023/10/97 -DO III Dtd. 11.06.1997). The pavement markers will be auto moulded by dual polymer shanks and must comply with all the MoRT&H specifications. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 100 mm respectively and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sq.cm. on each side and slope to the base shall be 35 +/-5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 kgf. Fixing will be by drilling holes on road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive and complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
