Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges,retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specifications Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD. Dismantling Brick/Tile Work Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structures comprising of brick masonry, including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lift and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specifications Clause 202 for Rural Roads of MORD. Excavation for Structures Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification,including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches,leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means. a) upto 3 m depth (i) With pumping out water including shoring as required.
Earthwork in filling in foundation trenches with good earth in layers not exceeding 15cm. including watering and ramming layer by layer complete with earth obtained from excavation of foundation or from fresh excavation of land arranged by Department within a lead of 150 m.
Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.
Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. a) Pakur Variety
Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction. (b) Where staging is not required.

Supplying, fitting and placing un-coated HYSD bar reinforcement in Bridge Foundation including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, bindingwith annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (i) Tor Steel rods/HYSD bars/TMT bars (TATA/SAIL/ RINL) (Fe 415/Fe 500/Fe 500D Conforms to IS:1786)

Reinforced Cement Concrete Crash Barrier Provision of an Reinforced cement concrete crash barrier at the edges of the road, approaches to bridge structures and medians, constructed with reinforced cement concrete with HYSD reinforcement conforming to IRC:21 and dowel bars25 mm dia, 450 mm long at expansion joints filled with premoulded asphalt filler board, keyed to the structure on which it is built and installed as per design given in the enclosure to MOST circular No. RW/NH - 33022/1/94-DO III dated 24 June 1994 as per dimensions in the approved drawing and at locations directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, all as specified. M-25 Grade Using OPC Cement 53 Grade Panchami Variety Stone Aggregates. Water Bound Macadam Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal / Laterite chelly or stone metal /shingles of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness (measured after compaction) in layers including screening of metals etc. as necessary, hand packing, sweeping, watering and rolling in stages with power roller to proper line, grade and camber, lighting, guarding & barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side where necessary to protect edges and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling and rolling all complete including the cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machineries and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) For Construction of Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal (63 mm to 45 mm) with moorum screening : Note: Added cost at site of 1.09 m3 of jhama metal and 0.26 m3 of moorum screening (loose volume) to arrive at the consolidated rate.
Supplying, spreading and consolidating Stone Dust to a depth of 100 mm and above at desired density and C.B.R. as per Specification with power roller to proper gradient and camber including watering as necessary, and lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary to protect the edges and curing with water for 2 to 3 days, mending cracks and depressions by rolling where necessary including all incidental charges of roller, cost of fuel & lubricants complete as per specification.
Cutting uprooting and clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds, bushes, trees, plants, upto 30 cm. girth including removing as directed by Engineer-in-charge..
Supplying to site empty cement polythene bags (capacity 50kg) in good condition including stacking, incedental charges etc. all complete (capacity 50 kg).
Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or agreegates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,( tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials). NB:- Volume of earth/ sand filled bags should not be less than 0.028 cum/ bag.
Dumping in position earth / sand filled gunny / poly bags (capacity 50 kg) within a lead of 30 metre inclusive of all lifts.
Removing earth/sand filled poly bags/gunny bags from the channel bed/slope and initially depositing the same near channel bank at a place as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for measurement of Bag.& then disposing off the same at a distance not less than 150 metre from the channel site.
Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of E) Beyond 4.00 km and upto 5.00 km NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking.
Disposal / carriage of excavated earth / materials outside Government land by truck or by any other conveyance over kancha / pucca road including making access for plying the truck or any other conveyance beyond 300 m from the excavated point including cost of stacking, loading, unloading, transporting, arrangement of land, if required by agency, spreading and levelling as necessary etc. complete. Measurement : By stacks at loading point after deducting voids as per rule.
