Manually removal of vegetation (major trees, climbing plants, creepers) from roof slab, roof vault, walls, columns, arches, floor etc in a skilled and careful manner, using appropriate tools and means and without causing any damage to the adjoining parts, including carrying and stacking the dismantled materials including lift/lower upto roof vault, minatates, terrace etc, as directed by the engineer or architect in charge. The exposed surfaces will be coated with a paste made from ammonium sulphamate crystals or with "Tree killer" available in market. In this condition the root system may be left to absorb and die. Large sections of dead wood must not be left within the core. As they decay they will remove support and create voids and weaknesses in the wall. Pull off a well‐established mat of vegetation must be resisted.
Dismantling & removing of existing C.I. pipes G.S.W pipes and A.C rain water with fitting and clamps including stacking the materials with all lead and lift. (for any dia, of pipe) as directed by Engineer-in-charge
Removal of cement mortar on ventilation pipes at terrace level by manual or mechanical means and cleaning of ventilation holes and complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Sub Head 3- Structural Repairs
Steel‐rod stitching incracked stone patties, beam,and lintels.Providing and fixing stainless steel rods of 90cms length of which 15cm on either side and cold bending at 90degrees. The stainless steel clamps to be fixed perpendicular to the crack by drilling in stone and fixing with quartz sand (1:3) and aradite mixture in such a way that the entire length of the rod is in complete contact of the stone and the bent ends are fully inserted in the cracked stone. Use 316 grade stainless steel charge per hole.steel rod charges are counted per kg. Holes with 10mm dia. as per requirement of position as directed by Engineer-in- Charge:

Stitching of cracks in brick masonry with stone lintels of 450x 200x50 mm . Chasing, grooving the brick masonry and inserting the stone lintel. All around the stone, lime mortar should be properly packed .as directed by Engineer-in- Charge:
Providing and inserting 12 mm dia Aluminium/ galvanized iron injection nipples along crack lines in masonry work, including I) drilling holes of required diameter up to depths from 20mm to 80mm or half the thickness of member (whichever is less), at required spacing but not exceeding the thickness of member or 300 mm ii) Making grooves of size 12mm x 12mm along the crack line. iii) Making the crack dust free by blowing compressed air and then washing with water. iv) Sealing the distance between the injection nipples with approved putty (Polymer modified lime mortar /polyester putty/epoxy putty) etc. and allow it to cure. v) If limeitious grout material proposed to be used, washing and saturating the cracked surface with water by pumping from top most nipple and down wards complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (The rate shall include all material, labour and all operations above. The cost of grout material shall be paid separately on the basis of actual quantity consumed as directed by Engineer-in- Charge:
Providing and grouting pre-packed ready to use grout made up of natural hydraulic lime with the addition of natural pozzolona filler, specially designed for use in restoration of old brick/stone masonry. The grout material shall have low (less than 1.5%) water soluble salt content, Elastic modulus not less than 5 GPA and minimum compressive strength of 18 N/sqmm at 28 days. Mix the product by introducing 3/4 of the required water (which is 7-8 liters of 25 kg or as per manufactures specification) into the mixer. Add continuously the product and the remaining water until perfect mixer having a fluid consistency is achieved. Inject the same with gravity or mechanized equipment with pressure not more than 2 kg/sqcm as per site conditions by means of injection technique. The item shall include all cost of materials, machinery and labour etc. complete in all respect. (The payment shall be made on the basis of actual weight of grouted material injected into the cracks /voids as directed by Engineer-in- Charge:
Crack stitching 10mm Helibar : Providing and fixing of Helifix Hi-fin reinforcement Helibars of 10mm dia, single bar in one slot, MOC Austenitic stainless steel, ASTM 304, having cross section area of 14.8sqmm, pitch 45/48, with ultimate tensile strength not less than 17.5 kN, shear strength 9.5kN, along with Helibond Grout, a special cementitious grout with low expansion, non gassing and injectable with exceptional non shrink thixotropic properties having compressive strength at 28 days of not less than 45 N/sqmm. Including chasing of slot in mortar bed upto a depth of 40mm for HeliBars, cleaning the dust and debris from the slot, making damp with water to achieve good bonding of HeliBar with HeliBond grout in the groove of brick/stone masonry ensuring that it remains tight at the joint after curing, including all tools, tackles and equipments using specified machines, including Staging & Scaffolding, at various places where there is crack in brick/stone/block masonry as directed by structural engineer in charge.
providing and Raking out joints of stone masonry surface to the required width and depth not less than 20 mm with due care and precaution by mechanical / manual means, including preparing and cleaning the surface for re-pointing/ refilling of joints including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground in all lead and lift.

Sub Head 4- Civil Repairs
Providing and applying limeplaster (Plain walls) up to 25mm thick, 12mm thk base coat in prepared with 1:2 lime + river sand and 10mm thk second coat in Prepared with 1:2 Lime +silica, 3mm final coat in lime putty 1:2 (Lime +fine Sand) by preparing the surface adequately with proper adhesion using liquid gud, methi, gugal complete as per engineer in charge
Providing and applying lime plaster for (Decorative/ Profile Cornices Band (All sizes)) up to 25mm thick, 12mm thk base coat in prepared 1:2 lime + river sand and 10mm thk second coat 1:2 in Prepared Lime +silica, 3mm final coat in lime putty 1:2 (Lime +fine Sand) by preparing the surface adequately with proper adhesion using liquid gud, methi, gugal complete as per engineer in charge. The breadth of the profile plus 50 mm from the finished faces of the work and the length shall be measured to calculate the area.
Providing and applying limeplaster (Repairing ornamental plaster works to match with the existing design ) up to 25mm thick, 12mm thk base coat in prepared with 1:2 lime + river sand and 10mm thk second coat in Prepared with 1:2 Lime +silica, 3mm final coat in lime putty 1:2 (Lime +fine Sand) by preparing the surface adequately with proper adhesion using liquid gud, methi, gugal complete as per engineer in charge.
Providing and finishing of Lime punning render coat of not more then 4mm thick on lime stone surface for both plain and decorative/ covered on the main façade in 1:3 white Lime: quartz fine sand (inclusive of coloring pigment as required) Rates are including modification factor and shall be paid on plan area as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and Ruled / Flush pointing on stone masonry surface with lime, surkhi and marble dust mortar in the ratio of 1:1.5:1/2 {One lime: 1.5 surkhi (50% red and 50% light yellow surkhi ) : 1/2 marble dust}. inclusive of all materials & labours complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Application of High quality Wacker SMK 1311 water base water repellent solvent free silicon coating impregnating on all Internal & external wall surfaces. The dilution of water should be done in ratio of 1:10 (1 Wacker : 10 water). The dilution should be applied in 2 more coats, wet on wet application to the surface. The application can be made through brush. The application should be done with prior preparation of surface by cleaning o it form residue of any material, dusting it clean for application.
Providing and applying of Permeable, water based Mature Lime wash finish of interior and exterior grade used for conservation and restoration of historical building, formulated by Mature Lime Putty with fillers, After the cleaning of surface and removing any loose or flaking material, applied two coat of Lime wash finish with one coat of Lime Based primer of approved color and shade to achieve desired finish apply by brush, roller and appropriate tools, as per specification, all completes with the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and Architect. Providing and laying 25 mm thick polished Kota stone slab flooring over 20mm thick base of cement mortar 1:6 (1-cement : 6-coarse sand) laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of slab including rubbing and polishing etc. complete. as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying Brushed / Leather Rough finish kota stone slab of 25mm thick in risers of steps,skirting Dedo and pillars laid on 10mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1-Cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointed with gray cement slury mixed with pigment to match the shade of slab including rubbing and polishing etc. complete. (upto 10 ton) as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and Finishing wall with weather proof exterior emulsion paint on wall surface (two coats) to give an required shape even shade after thoroughly brushing the surface to remove all dirt, and remains of loose powdered materials etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and repairing of Plastic / mortar Repairs (in ornamental / decorative work in stone or raised stucco motifs / ornamental features, like figurative forms urns, cornices, mouldings, finials etc ) using lime based mortars that is compatible with the host substrate (to provide an effective bond) shall be used. Profiled plastic repair for retention of carved enrichments using anchoring armatures of non-ferrous metals / any other as existing in host substrate and color matching using traditional techniques etc in (1:1 / 1:2) 10% pozzolonic lime mortar with additives etc complete.
Providing and laying White stone Bela masonry block in course in super structure with stone of approved quality in lime mortar 1:1.5 ( 1 lime : 1.5 Fine Sand) including packing the joints complete etc as per direction of Engineer In Charge as per direction of Engineer In Charge
Uncoursed Rubble Masonry with hard cu.m stone of approved quality in foundations and plinth in Cement Mortar 1 :5 (1-cement 5-coarse sand including levelling up etc. complete (more than 10 ton)
Lifiting the stone balusters from ground floor to poarch terrace and fixing using Lime Mortar 1:3 (1-lime putty / Equivalent dry Hydrated Lime : 3 - Fine sand) of stone balusters using with Steel dowel bars of minimum up to 32mm dia for anchoring by drilling holes in foundation strata including necessary bending, hooking of dowel bars and grouting the holes complete as per detailed drawing and as directed.

Removing the existing treatment of waterproofing System (including chemical treatment if required, if any) given on the terraces and reach the sound surface below the present waterproofing system and cleaning the surface to reach the sound surface, remove all loose material with the help of tools and tackles from the surface and as well as from the hair line cracks & wide cracks if any.
Providing and laying integral cement based brickbat coba water proofing treatment including preparation of surface With average thickness of 120 mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc consisting of following operations and furnishing a guarantee bond of 10 years: a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.7 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approve by Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment. b) Laying brick bats with mortar using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement :5 coarse sand ) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry using 2.75 kg/ sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineering-charge. d) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick joint less cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineering-charge including laying glass fiber cloth of approved quality in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300 mm square 3 mm deep. e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-Charge :With average thickness of 120 mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm.
Providing and laying broken china mosaic flooring for terrace using 12mm to 20mm broken pieces of glazed tiles to be laid over cement mortar 1:3 to plain or slope and to be tempered to bring mortar crème out up to surface using white cement including rounding of junctions and extending them up to 18 cm along the wall, clearing with water and oxalic acid etc as directed.
