8884 PROVISION OF LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM AND CHEMICAL EARTHING AT CENTRE OF EXPERTISE DIGITAL IMAGERY COEDI BLDG NO P 105 AT MINTSD UNDER GE SOUTH PUNE

Supply & fixing of Conventional Lightning Arrester, Pure Copper LA with base plate of size 14mm Dia and 1m in length, Cylindrical Type 4 Spike (Solid) with epoxy insulator and connected accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Supply and fix Copper strip 25 x 3 mm with insulators and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Supply and fix for test point test Link Box (MS Powder coated box size of (L 300mm X W 120mm X B 100 mm) with screw complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Earthing complete with Chemical earthing with copper earth plate 90x60cmx5mm & copper earth strip 50x6mm, by Special electric welding method (up to 7.5 mtr in length for each pits shall be included in the quated rate)including fixing with 10 mm dia copper bolts,brazed and connected up to earthing test point as directed ,and inter connected with three independant earths as directed including providing funnel with 25 mm bore (med grade) GI watering tube, wire mesh, charcoal , commercial salt and Mg SO4 in alternate layer of 10 cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (with 20 mm graded aggregate), 40 mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (reinforced with 8 mm diameter TMT bar @ 10 cm both-ways and suitable handle made of 10 mm diameter) including necessary earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 meter complete top edge not less than 1.25 metres below ground level connected with earthing lead of 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire all as shown in Plate No. 4 to the earthing test point all as specified and indicated including testing on completion all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.
