CSA WORKS AT IP, SV & SSV STATIONS OF HPPL PROJECT

DISMANTLING WORKS — ISMANTLING WORKS Dismantling of existing RCC / PCC / Brickwork /Stone Masonry /Stone Soling/ Flexible pavements at all heights and pths including stacking of serviceable materials inside the premises & disposal of unserviceable materials at an unobjectionable pla outside the premises for all leads as per direction of EIC. Necessary tools, tackles and staging work shall be arranged by the cont ctor for safe dismantling and safety of other existing facilities. Demolition of RCC / PCC / Masonry Work / Soling/ Pavements will b paid in NET CUM as demolished. Reinforcement/Steel Structural Items (if any) from demolition to be handed over to HPCL without any ditional cost."

CLEANING VEGETATION — LEANING VEGETATION Cleaning bushes including uprooting of rank vegetation, green bush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30cms easured at a height of 1m above ground), stacking the serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials at an unobjectio ble place outside the premises including rubbish etc. upto any lead and all lift as per specification and direction of the Engineer- -charge. (Payment will be made for actual site clearance area only)."

TREE CUTTING — REE CUTTING Tree cutting of girth more than 30 cm (measured at a height of 1m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and b nches, removing of roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material at an unobjectionable place ins e/outside the premises. Liasoning with the concerned Statutory Authorities shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. However, S tutory fees shall be paid by the Client."

EXCAVATION UPTO 2 M AND — ARTH WORK IN EXCAVATION FOR DEPTH UPTO 2 M AND BACKFILLING Earthwork in excavation for foundations/site grading in ordinary soils f depth upto 2.0 m in both dry and wet conditions including pumping and bailing out surface and subsoil water, slush removal includi backfilling in foundation pits and other places with excavated suitable surplus earth in all positions in layers of 300mm at all he hts and depths wherever required, including reclaiming from spoil heaps kept elsewhere including dressing and levelling, watering an mechanical compaction etc., transporting surplus unserviceable soil within the plant premises and spreading in layers and as per sp ifications and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The Measurement for payment shall be for the theoretical volume only and it shall b the volume of the block of the excavation having maximum bottom dimension of the levelling course/PCC as per drawing and to actual epth. Note : 1. The Contractor shall take into account in his rate, the provision for excess excavation required for necessary wor ng space, cutting in slopes etc., which may be required for excavation, safety and other allied works and refilling the side slopes nd working space in layers as per requirement. 2. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, bail g and pumping out water etc. with all bye works and sundry works complete in all respects."

EXCAVATION BEYOND 2 M — ARTH WORK IN EXCAVATION FOR DEPTH BEYOND 2 M AND BACKFILLING Earthwork in excavation for foundations in ordinary soils for depth be nd 2.0 m in both dry and wet conditions including pumping and bailing out surface and subsoil water, shoring, strutting, slush remo l including backfilling in foundation pits and other places with excavated suitable surplus earth in all positions in layers of 300m at all heights and depths wherever required, including reclaiming from spoil heaps kept elsewhere including dressing and levelling, tering and mechanical compaction etc., transporting surplus unserviceable soil within the plant premises and spreading in layers an as per specifications and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The Measurement for payment shall be for the theoretical volume only an it shall be the volume of the block of the excavation having maximum bottom dimension of the levelling course/PCC as per drawing a to actual depth. EARTH WORK WITH — ARTH WORK IN FILLING WITH IMPORTED EARTH Supply of good quality imported earth outside plant (Plasticity index not more than 20 and iquid limit not more than 40 when tested according to IS:2720 (Part 5), free from any deleterious material, organic materials, non e ansive soil etc.) from approved source and controlled earth filling for site levelling and at other places in layers of 300 mm and c pacted up to 95% to its Modified Proctor density or as per direction of Engineer in charge up to required height and any plan dimen on for any lead including cost of all labour, tools, equipment, hire charges, cost of borrowed earth by way of royalties, right of y, taxes, transportation, testing, watering, rolling each layer with 8 tonne to 10 tonne roller in open area and by 1 tonne to 2 to e roller or wooden or steel rammers in confined area, and dressing / filling up ground depressions etc. complete in all respect as p scope of work, detailed construction drawings, as per technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge. Note : 1 Soil Sample to be tested at laboratory approved by HPCL/MECON. Rate to include minimum one test for compaction control.for every 300 sqm of compacted area in each layer of earth filling. 2. The contractor shall obtain prior permission from concerned statutory auth ities as necessary for sourcing of earth required for filling as mentioned above and pay royalty etc., as applicable for the same. C ies of receipt of royalty paid by the contractor should be submitted to HPCL/ MECON for their record before bringing the material to ite. No separate payment will be made by HPCL/MECON towards reimbursement of royalty or any other levies which shall be included in e rates quoted by the party.The contractor shall bring the earth and stock the same as per the directions of EIC.3.Rate to include st of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, cost of earth, royalties, right of way, taxes etc."

FILLING WITH FLY ASH — ILLING WITH FLY ASH Supply of approved Fly Ash and controlled filling for site levelling, site grading and at other places with com ction using 8 to 10 tonne capacity vibratory roller to achieve dry density of 95% Modified Proctor density with approved quality Fly sh ( Geotechnical Properties as per Table 1 of IRC:SP:58-2001) including making temporary dividing bunds in ash pond if required, lo ing, transportation and unloading complete as desired, in layers not exceeding 30 cms including watering, consolidating, dressing, t mming to required slope/gradient, testing all as per specifications, drawings and instructions of the Engineer Incharge. Fly ash sam e to be tested at laboratory approved by HPCL/MECON."

SAND FILLING — AND FILLING Supplying and filling approved quality coarse sand / m-sand/ river sand (Zone II or Zone III) in foundation, pavements, looring, trenches, pits and other places for any lead, at all locations in layers of 150 mm thickness including watering and rammin as per direction of Engineer in charge for required depth and any plan dimension.Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, quipment, hire charges, cost of sand, royalties right of way, taxes, and backfilling using sand in all conditions, etc."

FILLING WITH SLAG SAND — ILLING WITH SLAG SAND : Supply of good quality locally available Slag Sand from approved source and controlled filling for site lev ling and at other places in layers of 300 mm and compacted up to 95% to its Modified Proctor density or as per direction of Engineer n charge up to required height and any plan dimension for any lead including cost of all labour, tools, equipment, hire charges, cos of slag sand by way of royalties, right of way, taxes, transportation, testing, watering, rolling each layer with 8 tonne to 10 to e oller in open area and by 1 tonne to 2 tonne roller or wooden or steel rammers in confined area, and dressing / filling up groun dep ssions etc. complete in all respect as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings, as per technical specifications and direct ns of the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Slag sand of grain sizes 5mm to 0.075mm with 10% fines to be used to obtain dense to very nse la rs."""

PCC-M15 — LAIN CEMENT CONCRETE M15 Supplying and laying plain cement concrete of grade M 15 with stone aggregate 20mm down grade (including s ttering if required) in foundations, floors, roof screed, aprons, pits, drains and other mass concrete works, steps, coping of wall, ill etc., at all depths and heights/levels as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge. Rate to includ cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such as, minimum 43 grade OPC/PPC cement, coars and fine aggregates, other minor construction materials, testing of concrete, shuttering in all conditions, compacting, curing etc. th all bye works and sundry works."
