Surface excavation in soft/loose soil n-exc-30 cm deep & averaging 15 cm and getting out soft/loose soil complete.

Add to (or deduct from) item no 01 for every 3 cm or part thereof above or below 15 cm average depth.

Rolling & consolidation of formation surfaces with 8 to 12 T power roller in reqd gradient & camber all as specified and directed.

M&L for 200 mm thick Soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber.

Provinding & laying 150mm thick (Compacted thickness) Wet Mix macadam (WMM) in two layers 75 mm each grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed,graded aggregate and granular material premixed with wate to a dence mass ,spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradien and camber complete all as specified and directed The Finishing surface toleranaces to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works 2013.

Material & labour for applying evenly a tack coat of catinic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to MORTH 5th revision @ 10Kg/10 Sqm on WMM surfaces as specified in Table 500-5 of MORTH specifications for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for aroviding and laying Dense bituminous macadam of minimum compacted thickness 50mm, using paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30@ and binder content of 4% by weight of total mix with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic 100-120 TPH batch type Hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic sensor paver, rolle d and compacted to required gradient and camber with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per clause 505 MORTH (5th revision) specification and as directed. Note :- (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 4 % VG-30 bitumen content, Job mix formula as per clause No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th revision) for BM shall be worked out from any Govt Lab/Govt Engg college/CTL for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the contractor and same shall be submit for approval of Accepting Officer through GE before execution. The cost there of shall be deemed to be included unit rate. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ 50/kg of binder and No adjustment shall be made on plus side. (ii) The BM shall be covered with top layer/wearing course within a maximum of 48 hours. If there is to be any delay by the contractor, course shall be covered by seal coat to the requirement of clause 512 of MORTH (5th revision) before opening to the traffic. The seal coat in such cases shall be considered incidental to the work and shall not be paid for separately. (iii) The contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorpoastion of the same in the work. (iv) Paver shall not be compulsory in case of patch work using BM. (v) Payment shall be made after conducting bitumen extraction test after every laying every 500 units and cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. For any variation in bitumen contents the re-testing to be got done by contractor at without any extra cost. (vi) Repair to pot holes shall be carried out as directed by Engineer-in-charge under this item and not measured separately, cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Material & labour for laying Premix bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.4% paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30, content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2 with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type Hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic sensor paver, rolled and compacted to required and camber with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per clause 507 MORTH (5th revision) specification and as directed. Note :- (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 5.4 % VG-30 bitumen content, Job mix formula as per clause No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th revision) for BC shall be worked out from any Govt Lab/Govt Engg college/CTL for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the contractore and same shall be submit for approval of Accepting Officer through GE before execution. (ii) Cost of filler i.e cement (OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. (iii) After spreading of mix as as per clause 507.4.7 MORTH (5th revision) entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per clause No 507.4.8 MORTH (5th revision) and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted rates. (iv) The contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorpoation of the same in the work. (v) Payment shall be made after conducting bitumen extraction test after every laying every 500 units and cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Removing excavated material/soils 50 m or part thereof beyond 50 m and upto a total distance of 250 m and at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point.

Thermo plastic paint road marking 2mm thick painting (lines, dashes, arrows, letters etchj on new or previously treated road surfaces) with road safety spikeries glass beads @ 8% by weight including preparation of new or previously treated road sufaces and applying paint by using special applicator machine with heating arrangement complete all as specified and as direcrted by Engr-In-Charge.
