M&L for mobilization of machineries, Men, tools and plants along with skilled work force inclusive of loading, transporting and unloading at the base camp inclusive of all incidental charges there on complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for drilling 150mm diameter bore holes in all types of soil except boulders, weathered/hard rocks, conducting the following field and laboratory tests and furnishing the detailed report consisting of site plan showing the locations of the bore holes with bore logs, field & laboratory test results, recommendations for the depths and type of foundations and allowable safe bearing capacity / pile carrying capacities etc., all as per the procedures given in the relevant IS codes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for the following : (A) Field work: (a)Conducting standard penetration test at regular intervals of 1m upto 10m depth & of 1.5m interval in further depths and change of layers. (b) Collecting disturbed soil samples in case of coesionless soil layers and undisturbed soil samples shall be at every 0.5m interval including the soil recovered from split spoon sampler.(C) Observing and recording ground water table (B) Laboratory Tests: (i) Grain size analysis, (ii) Atterberg’s Limits, (iii) Free swell test, (iv) Unit weight, (v) Water content, (vi) Shear test (vii)Unconfined Compression Test (viii) Specific Gravity (ix) Porosity (x) Consolidation Test (xi) Permeability (xii) Void Ratio (xiii) Relative Density etc.

For conducting tests as per 'A' and 'B' above ,0 to 10m depth from the ground level or 3m into the very dense / very hard soil strata with consequetive three Successive N value more than 50, whichever shall met earlier (if the observed N values equal / more than 50, the same shall be ascertained in further depths of minimum 3m at 1m intervals and if the observed N values shall be less than 50, the test shall be continued further depth up to the very dense / very hard strata.

All as per item No 2.01 above but for depth exceeding 10m and not exceeding 20m .

All as per item No 2.01 above but for depth exceeding 20m and not exceeding 30m .NOTE FOR SER. ITEM NO 2.01 TO 2.03 : If the absorved 'N' values shall be more than 50 and the same shall be ascertained in further depths of minimum 3m at 1m intervals as directed.

All as per item No 2.01 above but for drilling in soft rock / refusal strata of spt>100, drilling using Tungsten carbie Bit (Applicable only if executed at site)

All as per item No 2.01 above but for drilling in hard rock (IS 1306: 1991) drilling using diamond pit (Applicable only if executed at site )

M&L for excavaation of trail pit of size 1.2m x 1.2m x 3.0m and collecting undisturbed soil samples complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for carrying out analysis of field and laboratory tests results as per the relevant IS Code and preparation of Geotechnical Report with appropiate foundation recommendations (Shallow foundation /Static analaysis of pile capacity based on 4 bore holes) ,submission of certified report in quadruplicate as per ISO: 17025: 2005 complete all as specified.NOTE: The soil investigation data should be Signed by the Authorized Sr.Geotechnical Consultant with proper authenication
