Manufacture, inspection, testing, and supply of hot-dip galvanized, electric arc welded mild steel (MS) gratings (plain type) of sizes as required at site. The frame bar and load-bearing members shall be MS flats of size 40 mm × 5 mm with a spacing of 40 mm (center to center), and the cross bars shall be MS flats of size 12 mm × 5 mm with a spacing of 100 mm (center to center). Hot-dip galvanizing shall be carried out in accordance with IS 4759:1996, and the minimum thickness of galvanizing measured at any point on the grating shall not be less than 100 microns. The scope includes the supply of hot-dip galvanized gratings and replacement of damaged gratings with new gratings at various locations in the Main Plant and Compressor House, including work at elevations as specified in the scope of work for this item, including fixing clamps.

Replacement of damaged gratings along with supplied new gratings, including removal of old damaged gratings and . The work includes cleaning and painting of the supports. Fixing the gratings with holding clamps.

Replacment of damaged strucrtal supports which beneath old gratings, removal of old gratings, repalcment of corrodded supports such are ISMC, ISA & ISMB by SMAW Welding. Application of one caot red oxide and two coats of AC grey CR apint.
