Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as CAT-II A reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of KPPP portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

The Tender are invited as per Standard Tender bid document KW-2

Conditional Tenders will not be considered

All relevant documents as per the KW-2 need to be uploaded while submitting bid in general documents provision in KPPP portal.

The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any of the tender without assigning any reason.

The contractor has to make his own arrangements for procurement of all the required materials and the materials so procured shall confirm to the relevant IS Specifications or Equivalent and obtain necessary quality certificate from authorized quality control.

All the documents required as per technical qualification criteria needed to be uploaded in Original or Attested by any official not below the rank of Executive Engineer or Notary.

The Contractors should submit all the Documents as uploaded in Original or duly attested by a Notary/an officer not below the rank of an Executive Engineer on or before opening of Technical Bid as Notified.

Name, address, and telephone, telex, and fax numbers and e mail Id of the contractor is to be provided.

The contractor has to furnish Additional security deposit for unbalance tender as per clause 25.1 of ITT, to an amount of difference in contract price and amount put to tender, in addition to 5% performance guarantee (in any of the form prescribed) while concluding the Agreement.

During the execution of work, if any minor minerals are required contractors have to abide by the Karnataka Minor Mineral Concession Rules 1994 (as amended up to date). As per the prevailing rules, for any use of Minor Minerals, the contractor has to submit the Mineral Dispatch Permit (MDP) obtained from Mines and Geology Department. If Mineral Dispatch Permit (MDP) is not submitted by the contractor along with the bill, the prevailing penalty and DMF contribution as per Karnataka Minor Mineral concession rules 1994 (as amended from time to time) will be deducted from contractors bills at the time of payment.

The tender has to quote his/her rate by excluding GST. However contract will be concluded for the AMOUNT (Exclusive of GST) but Applicable GST will be paid extra prevailing at the time of execution. If the GST rates are revised during the contract period, the Tenderer/Employer has to accept the revised GST rates for making payment/recovery.

If the LOC and Work Done not confirmed from the concerned Bank/Department/Office within stipulated time through E-mail. This office is not responsible for not receiving the said documents and the bid will stand rejected.

EPF Registration certificate along with latest challan.

The tenderer shall also disclose if there are any bankruptcy proceedings against him.

GO Copy enclosed in KPPP regarding restrictions on Public Procurement from Bidders of certain countries as per Government order No.FD/455/EXP-12/2020, Bengaluru, Dated: 25-08-2020.

The Work Done Certificates shall be issued by the Executive Engineer(if work done in Karnataka State), otherwise it shall be issued/counter signed by Superintending Engineer (if the work is done is other states).

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work before submitting the tender.

The Contractor is fully responsible for the Equipment / Material until the same is handed over to the EXECUTIVE ENGINEER in an operating condition after commissioning. The Contractor is responsible for the proper maintenance of equipment / material as well as protection of the same against theft, elements of nature, damages etc., while in his custody as well as after erection until the same is taken over by the EXECUTIVE ENGINEER under due acknowledgment in writing.

Sub - leasing /G.P.A of work is prohibited.

As a third party, vigilance cell which is working under Major Irrigation is now included in Minor Irrigation and Ground Water Development Department, Vigilance cell has empowered to visit the working site often and often without any prior intimation to check the quality and quantity at any stage till completion. Any lapses with respect to quality and quantity of work, losses, the contractor is held responsible. Please Note.

Each item of BOQ is to be read as with all lead and lifts and as per the directions of Engineer in charge.

Latest copy of the Income Tax Clearance Certificate , PAN and TAN Nos. to be uploaded.

The defective liability period is one year.

Tenderers who meet the specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value.

The Bidder has to upload cast certificate having RD Number issued by the competent authority compulsorily. cast certificate without RD Number the bid will stand rejected.

Past Experience

Mandating satisfactory completion as a prime contractor for at least one similar work (having executed any civil work) to an extent of 25% of the work i.e., Rs.7.89 lakhs. Cost of completed works of previous years will be given weightage of 10% per year to bring them to 2025-26 price level.

Executed in any one year, the following minimum quantities of work Providing, Supplying and fixing M.S. gates of Suitable size with required number of M.S. plate , stiffners, and horizontal bracing : 6128.00 Kg

Achieved in at least one financial years a minimum financial turnover (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) of Rs.31.57 Lakhs. Financial turnover of previous years will be given a weightage of 10% per year to bring them to price level of FY 2025-26 (Attach Turnover Certificate issued from CA having UDIN Number)
