Earth work in excavation in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5M in width as well as 10Sqm on plan) including dressing of sides ramming of bottoms lift up to 1.5M including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil within a lead of 50M from edge cutting . disposed earth to be leveled and neatly dressed in all kinds of soil.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade in 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 course sand : 8 graded stone agg. 40mm nominal size) excluding the C/o centering and shuttering all work upto plinth level including all carriages and cost of materials involved. Including head load upto 2.50km average.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centring and shuttering- All work upto plinth level. 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) including all carriages and cost of materials involved. Including head load upto 2.50 km average.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for foundation footings, plinth, plinth beams, walls (any thickness) including attached plasters, buttresses, string coarses, bases of columns etc. for mass concrete. Including head load upto 2.50 km average.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR PRE-FAB STRUCTURE MADE UP OF STEEL AND PUF PANELLS IN WALLS WITH ATTACHED TOILET. Pre-Fabricated shelter made up of steel structure and PUF panels, colour coated profile sheets etc with technical specification as given below:- 1 Design Parameter. a) Seismic=Zone V b) Wind speed=55m/s (As per IS-875) c) Temperature Range=(-) 40 to (+) 50 C d) Roof slope= 1:2 e) Dimensions. All as indicated in the reference drawing to be provided as site are as directed by EIC at site. 2. Technical Specifications. i) Details of Structural Members. The steel structure for the shelters will be designed for the Designed Parameters. All structural steel will be ISI marked with manufacturer’s test certificate for raw material and structural properties. The main columns , verandah rafters, trusses, purlins etc will be Made out of steel sections , MS plates, M S bolts / nuts etc (the size of steel sections / thickness of M S plates, size of bolts/ nuts will be as per drawings or as directed by EIC at site.

ii) The roof will be provided with 0.63mm thick green colour coated steel profile sheets. Sheet covering will be fixed with using hot dip zinc coated self drilling hexagonal washer head fasteners. Ridge shall be covered by 0.63mm thick colour coated steel sheet. The sheets shall be laid with minimum end and side lap of 150mm. iii) Gable End. Gable End will be covered with same panels as of wall upto bottom chord of truss. The triangular truss portion will be covered with 0.63mm wider than the width of the opening. iv) Sunshades. Suitable sunshades made out of colour coated sheet reinforced with angle iron frame will be provided to all external windows and doors. The minimum projection for the sunshades will be 450 mm and 300mm wider than the width of the opening. v) Roof Projection. The roof will have minimum projection 450mm all around including verandah portion. Purlins will also be extended in the roof at the eaves and at gable roof extension (outside the structure)

vi) Main walls & partition walls. The main and partition walls will be made up of 60 mm thick wall Panels of make Llod panel system /Modern Panels/Jindal Mectecnol/PSL Engineering or equivalent. The Panels will be made of 0.63mm thick hot dipped galvanized steel sheets on both sides with 60mm thick layer of rigid CFC free close cell polyurethane foam (Density 40 Kg+2 Kg/Cum) insulation. The wall panels will be provided with tongue and groove joint and will be with cam lock systems for interlocking. All materials required for the manufacture of shelter will be new and shall comply with relevant Bureau of Indian Standard Specification. Base channel of specified size will be provided for walls. The PUF insulation material in the panel will have fire retarding and self extinguishing properties as per any international standard B2 DIN 4102 Part-I/BS-4735 Self Ext.

vii) False Ceiling. The false ceiling of Rooms, Toilets and Verandah will be made up of 40 mm thick PUF insulated Panels of Make Lloyd Panel system/Modern Panels/Jindal Mectechno/PSL Engineering or equivalent. The Panels will be made of 0.63 mm thick hot dipped galvanized steel sheets on both side with 40mm thick layer of rigid CFC free close cell polyurethane foam (Density 40 Kg+ 2 Kg/Cum) insulation. The false ceiling panels will be provided with tongue and groove or lip locking joint for interlocking. False ceiling will be supported with the help of inverted CRCA Tee Section 50x50x5 mm thick and L-Section of 50x50x5 mm thick fixed appropriately to the Truss.

viii) Windows. Aluminum profile sliding windows with all fitments will be provided and fixed in position by the contractor as directed by EIC The window shutter will be of two leaves of which one shall be provided with glazing of 4mm intello reflective glass and one leaf will be provided with fixed fly proofing using stainless steel mesh of 1.5mm aperture. ix) Doors. Doors will be provided and fixed in position by the contractor as directed by EIC in each shelter. Door frames and shutters will be made up of suitable Aluminium profile sections. Main shutter will be provided with flush both sides teak ply inserts of appropriate thickness and Fly proof shutter provided on outside of the door using stainless steel mesh of average 1.50mm aperture. The main door shall be provided with built in locking system of make Godrej/Harrison etc. Two Nos Aluminum tower bolts of 200mm size from inside and one sliding bolt 300mm long and one bow handle 150mm size to be provided on both in and out side of each shutter. Fly proof shutters will be provided with hydraulic door closers. Internal doors will not be provided with fly proof shutters.

x) Ventilators. Ventilator of size 450x300mm and of suitable aluminium profile section will be provided and fixed in position by the contractor as directed by the EIC in each shelter. Ventilator will have full stainless steel fly proof mesh of 1.50mm aperture and will have top hinged glazed polycarbonate sheet shutter on inside. s) Curtain Rod Arrangement. 25mm diameter mild steel powder colour coated fancy type drapery rod with fixing arrangements will be provided for all openings (doors and windows). The drapery rod should be minimum 450 mm longer than width of the opening. t) Shelf. Four numbers 450 mm wide, 1.0m long shelf made of pre-laminated particle board 16 mm thick shall be fixed with nuts and bolts on 3mm thick MS angle iron frame as shown on drawing. 3. Workmanship: a) Connection. Welded connection will be provided unless otherwise specified by EIC. The welded connections will be conformed to IS 806-1968 b) Fabrication. The general provisions in section 11 of IS 800 of 1984 will apply to all types of steel being used for fabrication.

c) All steel members will be provided with 2 coats of red oxide zinc chromate primer before supply. The complete cement concrete flooring in 1:2:4(M-15), electrification, ,Painting work wherever required and internal sanitary works as required and approved by Engineer Incharge shall be provided. d) Various Fasteners and Fittings:- Fasteners and fittings of mild steel shall be supplied unless otherwise specified in and shall be fixed where required. Fastening means will be provided for the items to be fitted at the time of erection. 10% spare nuts, bolts and washers will be provided per shelter. The fasteners supplied shall conform to relevant BIS specification. e) Finishes. All steel work will be given two coats of red oxide zinc chromate primer and all exposed timber parts will be given two coats of wood primer by the manufacturer in the factory. Eight Liters of red oxide zinc chromate primer and twenty liters white colour paint with appropriate colour stainer per shelter will be provided in sealed containers for retouching and painting after erection. All paint material will be of Jenson & Nicholson/Berger/Asian make or equivalent.Including head load upto 2.50 Km average.

P/ laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS :15622 of approved make in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand) including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. complete. including all carriages and costs of material involved Including head load upto 2.50km average.

Providing and fixing ceramic glazed floor tiles 300x300 mm (thickness to be specified by the manufactures) of Ist quality conforming to IS:13755 of NITCO, ORIENT, SOMANY, KAJARIA or equivalent make in colour such as white, ivory, grey, fume Red,brown laid on 20mm thick be bed of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand) including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigment etc. complete incl. all carriage and costs of material involved. Including head load upto 2.50 km average.

Providing and placing underground Septic tank ISI : marked indicating the BIS license No. with cover and suitable locking arrangement and making necessary holes for inlet, outlet and overflow pipes including fittings and the base support for tank (Sintex, electroplast, star, lotus or equivalent having valid ISI license. (Three layer) and also including the cost of earth work in excavation for trenching, cost of earth filing after fixing of PVC tank and cost of disposal of surplus earth all complete as directed by EIC. Including head load upto 2.503 km average.

Providing and placing on terrace (at all floor levels) polyethylene water storage tank ISI : 12701 marked indicating the BIS license No. with cover and suitable locking arrangement and making necessary holes for inlet, outlet and overflow pipes but without fittings and the base support for tank (Sintex, electroplast, star, lotus or equivalent having valid ISI license. (Three layer) including cost of required M S staging of angle Iron post, post plates up to a height of minimum fifteen ft complete Job or as directed by the EIC at site. Including head load upto 2.50 km average.

Providing and fixing water closet squatting pan (Indian type W.C. Pan ) with 100 mm sand cast iron P or S trap, 10 litre low level P.V.C flushing cistern ( of approved make) with manually controlled device (handle lever) conforming to IS:7231, with all fittings C.I/M.S. rackets, 32 mm diameter flush pipe with fittings and clamps, over flow arrangement with specials and mosquito proof coupling of approved municipal design complete including painting of fittings and brackets, cutting and making good the walls and floors wherever required.
