(b) Opening covers of the VCB and visual checking of epoxy housing and all parts for rust and wear. M&L cleaning the internal surfaces of RCC overhead reservoir of capacity 20000 gallon at 18 metre staging height by brooming and rubbing with coir brush, scraping with wire brushes, rubbing down scale, dirt, sludge etc. and washing with clear water using bleaching powder/caustic soda and taking out all rubbish from the reservoir and removing from the reservoir complete all as specified and as directed. Note: consumption of bleaching powder for cleaning of tank shall not be less than 15 Kg. after cleaning of tank date of claning will also written by contractor in bold letters.

Taking out existing submersible pump set of any capacity along with column pipe from the bore well and lowering the same after repairing the pump set including and reconnection all electric & mechanical connection. Note: (i) One lifting & one lowering shall be measured one job. (ii) Repair to pumps & motor and replacement of spare parts shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) Replacement of column pipe if required shall be measured & paid separately as supply only under respective item in this Schedule.

Dismantling carefully submersible pump and taking out/down and replacement of locknut, impeller key, collar ring, SS coupling nuts, bolts, washer and re-assembling the pump of capacity upto 10/12.5/15 HP and painting the pump set with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer after scraping out old paint complete all as specified and directed. Note : Testing is to be carried out once in every month.
