DAY TO DAY MAINT OF E/M SERVICES AT SI LINES UNDER GE BHOPAL NOTE: - (i) The works/items given below are for attending day to day complaints (of int. electricfication, fans, geysers, etc) by deploying sufficient skilled trades men/materials and making functional the complaint. (ii) The quoted rate deems to include for all minor expenses required for making the complaint functional. (iii) The trades man shall report to E/M complaint cell Bairagarh daily at 8.30 am to take complaints from concren JE E/M. The complaint must be attended on same day in stuiplate time period by providing material required and by deploying sufficient manpower by the contractor. Removing excavated materials (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Note : Measurements for the purpose of payments shall be made by measuring horinzontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and adding 3% extra for sag, joints, jumpers etc.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earthing strip of dimension 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 of MES SSR-2009 Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by 15mm dia light grade GI pipe and watering pipe shall be 20mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil/hard rock, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc complete all as directed. NOTE :- (i) The concrete pit shall be PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate includes the cost of GI pipe medium grade for protection of earth lead and 32x6 mm earh strip upto 7.5 M. (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself.

Cutting of bituminous road/PCC hard standing/road/floor for laying of GI pipe upto 100mm dia (trench not more than 0.3m x 0.3m) for passing of cable including making good the disturbed surfaces to match with the existing surface after laying pipes, complete all as specified and directed. Note:-GI pipe shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items of this schedule.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of LT PCC poles & painting strips in alternate from bottom to top with three strips of black synthetic paint & two strips of white fluorescent paint (up to 1.5 mtr height) throughout the circumference of pole ( width of each strip shall be of 30 cm), including marking pole numbers in a 20 cm dia yellow circle with number writing with black synthetic enamel paint including one coat of lime wash on PCC copping of pole complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of steel pole (swan neck type or straight type) up to 9 mtr height with cross arms, clamp of any length and shape for LT overhead line/street light with two coats of aluminium paint after scratching out old paint, cleaning the existing surface rust free, preparation of the surface including marking pole numbers in a 20 cm dia yellow circle with number writing with black synthetic paint & painting strips in alternate from bottom to top with three strips of black synthetic paint & two strips of white fluorescent paint (up to 1.5 mtr height) throughout the circumference of pole ( width of each strip shall be of 30 cm), including one coat of lime wash on PCC copping of pole complete all as specified and directed.
