Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar including demolition of all quoins, arches, pillars, piers, jambs, copings and precast concrete masonry/block work, including breaking into convenient sizes, removal of debris and all incidental labour, tools, plant and equipment required for complete execution as specified.

M&L for brick work with sub-class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius, in half brick thick walls, laid in cement mortar 1:4, including soaking of bricks, preparation of mortar, proper bonding, raking of joints for plastering where required, scaffolding, curing and all labour, materials, tools and equipment complete as specified.

M&L for brick work with sub-class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6, including soaking of bricks, preparation and laying of mortar, proper bonding, jointing, curing, scaffolding and all labour, materials, tools and equipment complete as specified.

Taking down cement or cement-lime plaster of any description from brick or stone masonry, including raking out joints, hacking the surface for key, scrubbing down with water and cleaning the exposed surface, including all labour, tools, plant and equipment and disposal of dismantled plaster/debris as specified; rate shall include work at any height and location, including scaffolding and all necessary equipment complete.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 including WPC @ 3% by weight of cement, on stone or brick masonry, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including preparation of surface, application, curing, scaffolding and all labour, materials, WPC, tools and equipment required for complete execution at any height and location as specified.

M&L for 10 mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:6 on surfaces other than fair faces of brick work or concrete, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including preparation of surface, application, curing, scaffolding and all labour, materials, tools and equipment required for complete execution at any height and location as specified.

M&L for rendering 5 mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 to ceilings, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including preparation of surface, application, finishing, curing, scaffolding and all labour, materials, tools and equipment required for complete execution at any height and location as specified.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered wall and ceiling surfaces and application of two coats of oil emulsion distemper over one coat of suitable primer, including application of 2 mm thick elastomeric wall care putty on walls, preparation by cleaning, rubbing down and making good minor surface imperfections, sanding between coats and complete finishing; paint shall be Asian/Berger/Nerolac or equivalent approved make, including scaffolding, labour, materials, tools and equipment for work at any height and location complete as specified.

M&L for preparation of old plastered wall and ceiling surfaces including removal of mortar drops, smoke and soot deposits, mould, moss, efflorescent salts, tar/oil/grease spots and other loose or defective material by scraping, wire brushing/grinding machine or other suitable means, followed by cleaning and preparation of the surface, application of one coat of suitable primer, 2 mm thick white wall care putty and two coats of oil-bound emulsion distemper (OBD) of approved shade/tint, including sanding and making good minor surface defects, scaffolding, labour, materials, tools and equipment for work at any height and location complete as specified. Make: Asian/Berger/Nerolac or equivalent approved make.

M&L for preparing newly plastered wall surfaces and applying two coats of exterior grade emulsion paint over one coat of suitable exterior primer and 2 mm thick exterior wall care putty, including surface preparation, sanding, making good minor imperfections and finishing complete, using Asian/Berger/Nerolac or equivalent approved make, including scaffolding, labour, materials, tools and equipment for work at any height and location complete as specified.
