Sub Head 1 - Preparatory Works

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven storey height made with 40 mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5 m center to center, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved by Engineer-in-Charge and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-Charge. The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Sub Head 2 - Demolition & Dismantling

Dismantling old plaster or skirting, raking out masonry joints also and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground from site of work with all lead and lift.

Demolition of R.C.C. works of all grades manually / mechanical means including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials with all lead and lift.

Demolition of Brick work and stone masonry including stacking of serviceable materilas and disposal of unserviceable materials with all lead and lift. (i) In Lime/ Cement Mortar.

Dismentaling of Sheet roofing inculding ridges, Hips, valleys, gutters etc. Stacking of servicable materials and disposal of unservicables material with all lead and lift (A.C. sheet Roffing)

Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood) shutter & Frames including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking with all lead and lift

Dismantiling of cermaic tile / Pavers / stone floors laid in mortar inculding stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials with all lead and lift

Dismantling C.I. Pipes, G.S.W. Pipes abd A.C rain water pipes with fittings and clamps inculding stacking the material with all lead and lift ( for any dia of pipe)

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material with lead and lift

Excavation for foundation for Upto 1.5 m by manual / mechanical means including sorting out and stacking of useful materials and disposing off the excavated stuff with all lead and lifts as directed by Engineer-in- Charge: Dense /Hard soil/Soft

Manually removal of vegetation (major trees, climbing plants, creepers) from roof slab, roof vault, walls, columns, arches, floor etc in a skilled and careful manner, using appropriate tools and means and without causing any damage to the adjoining parts, including carrying and stacking the dismantled materials including lift/lower up to roof vault, minatates, terrace etc, as directed by the engineer or architect in charge. The exposed surfaces will be coated with a paste made from ammonium sulphamate crystals or with "Tree killer" available in market. In this condition the root system may be left to absorb and die. Large sections of dead wood must not be left within the core. As they decay they will remove support and create voids and weaknesses in the wall. Pull off a well‐established mat of vegetation must be resisted complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-Charge.

Surface dressing of the ground including removing all types of upto 15cm girth vegetation/ i.e. Grass, Shrubs, Plants not exceeding 10 cm complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-Charge.

Sub Head 3 - Structural Repairs & Strengthening

Providing and inserting 12 mm dia Aluminium/ galvanized iron injection nipples along crack lines in masonry work, including I) drilling holes of required diameter up to depths from 20mm to 80mm or half the thickness of member (whichever is less), at required spacing but not exceeding the thickness of member or 300 mm ii) Making grooves of size 12mm x 12mm along the crack line. iii) Making the crack dust free by blowing compressed air and then washing with water. iv) Sealing the distance between the injection nipples with approved putty (Polymer modified lime mortar /polyester putty/epoxy putty) etc. and allow it to cure. v) If limeitious grout material proposed to be used, washing and saturating the cracked surface with water by pumping from top most nipple and down wards complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (The rate shall include all material, labour and all operations above. The cost of grout material shall be paid separately on the basis of actual quantity consumed as directed by Engineer-in- Charge:

Providing and grouting pre-packed ready to use grout made up of natural hydraulic lime with the addition of natural pozzolona filler, specially designed for use in restoration of old brick/stone masonry. The grout material shall have low (less than 1.5%) water soluble salt content, Elastic modulus not less than 5 GPA and minimum compressive strength of 18 N/sqmm at 28 days. Mix the product by introducing 3/4 of the required water (which is 7-8 liters of 25 kg or as per manufactures specification) into the mixer. Add continuously the product and the remaining water until perfect mixer having a fluid consistency is achieved. Inject the same with gravity or mechanized equipment with pressure not more than 2 kg/sqcm as per site conditions by means of injection technique. The item shall include all cost of materials, machinery and labour etc. complete in all respect. (The payment shall be made on the basis of actual weight of approved grout injected into the cracks /voids as directed by Engineer-in- Charge

Providing & Applying Lime Plaster: Providing & Applying 25 to 40mm ( max three coats) lime plaster on bela stone masonary walls using lime, coarse sand, Bela stone dust & Marble Dust as per traditional practice jaggery syrup, methi powder, mortar mix of (1 slaked lime,3 coarse sand, 1.5Bela stone dust, 0.5 Marble Dust) and appropriate adhesives i.e. jaggery syrup, methi powder, as colour pigments, Applying lime plaster before applying of lime plaster the surface must be wash with water after and incl. curing, consolidation, finishing complete with all materials, labour, tools and tackels as directed as Engineer- in- Charge

Providing & Applying Lime Plaster: Providing & Applying 25mm lime plaster (Repairing ornamental plaster works to match with the existing design ) (1st Coat of13mm+ 2nd Coat 12mm) on bela stone masonary walls using lime, coarse sand, Bela stone dust & Marble Dust as per traditional practice jaggery syrup, methi powder, mortar mix of (1 slaked lime,3 coarse sand, 1.5Bela stone dust, 0.5 Marble Dust) and appropriate adhesives i.e. jaggery syrup, methi powder, as colour pigments, Applying lime plaster (1st Coat of13mminculding of motar filling of raked joints also+ 2nd Coat 12mm before applying of lime plaster the surface must be wash with water after and incl. curing, consolidation, finishing complete with all materials, labour, tools and tackels as directed as Engineer- in- Charge

Application of High quality Wacker SMK 1311 water base water repellent solvent free silicon coating impregnating on all Internal & external wall surfaces. The dilution of water should be done in ratio of 1:14 (1 Wacker : 14 water). The dilution should be applied in 2 coats, wet on wet application to the surface. The application can be made through brush or spray. The application should be done with prior preparation of surface by cleaning o it form residue of any material, dusting it clean for application.

Providing and Raised pointing on stone masonry surface with lime, surkhi and marble dust mortar in the ratio of 1:1.5:1/2 {One lime: 1.5 surkhi (light yellow surkhi ) : 1/2 marble dust}. inclusive of all materials & labours complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and laying White stone Bela masonry block in course in super structure with stone of approved quality in lime mortar 1:1.5 ( 1 lime : 1.5 Fine Sand) including packing the joints complete etc as per direction of Engineer In Charge as per direction of Engineer In Charge

Providing and laying cement concrete of 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) and curing complete exculding formwork and reionforcement for reinforced concrete work upto two floor level

Providing formwork of ordinary timber Sqm planking so as to give a rough finish including centering shuttering strutting and propping etc. Height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4 M. and removal of the same for in situ reinforced concrete and plain concrete work in. (8) Flat surfaces such as soffits of suspended floor roof slabs Landings and the like. (2) Floors etc. above 200mm in thickness. (upto 10 ton)

Providing and laying damp proof course Sqm 25mm thick cement concrete 1 :2:4 (1-Cement 2 coarse sand 4 stone aggregate 10 mm nominal size) and Curing complete (more than 10 ton)

Scraping oil paint & rust from steel and other metal surface and making the surface even (with Hand Scraping.)

Providing and fixing Cast Iron railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-charge (for payment purpose only weight of Cast Iron members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.)

Providing and laying 50 mm thickness Rajula stone slab flooring of 300/450 mm x 300mm size over 20 mm (average) thick base laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab, including rubbing and polishing complete with base of cement mortar 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) :

Providing and laying 25 mm thick Rajula stone flamed finish stone slab in required design and patterns all complete as per the architectural drawings over 50 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) laid and jointed with cement slurry with pigment of matching shade including rubbing, curing etc. all complete as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge :

Providing and fixing new timber frames upto 75mm thick with well class A Indian well seasoned teak wood (Nagpur teak, CP teak, Valsadi teak or equivalent) well-seasoned, chemical treated Door/Window frames made to size, shape and design as per original design, size and pattern including and fixed in position with hold fast (40x5-40 cm) long lugs or with dash fasteners of required dia & length etc complete as per direction of Engineer In Charge
