SUB HEAD-1 Earth Work.

Earth work in excavation for all type of foundations, trenches etc. in all kinds of soil where pick jumper work is not involved and not exceeding 2.0 metres depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent refilling around masonary etc. in 15 cms layers with compaction/ consolidation, including disposal of all surplus soil as directed , within campus/ site.

Earth filling under floors/in plinth with surplus soil excavated from foundations (as per bove) and taken only from outside the building plinth, in 15cms layers including ramming, watering and consolidating as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth filling under floors with approved earth brought from outside (any lead) and filling in 15cms layers including carriage, loading & unloading, ramming, watering and consolidating, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and filling in plinth and under floors approved local river sand including carriage loading, unloading, spreading, watering, ramming, consolidating, etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying Anti Termite Treatment using pre constructional chemical treatment measures as per IS-6313-2001 (Part-2) & using Chemical containing chloropyrifos systemic insecticide diluted to manufacturer’s specifications i.e. 1 Ltr. of choropyrifos and 19 ltr. water:- (i)In foundation pits, by treating the bottom & sides up to height of 300mm by uniformly spraying solution @ 5 litre per sqm. (ii)In the refill earth on both sides of all built up walls @ 7.5 litre / Running meter (width -300mm, depth -450mm).(iii)Before laying the floor, by uniformly sprinkling the top surface of the consolidated earth within the outer perimeter @ 5 litre solution per sqm.

SUB HEAD-2 CENTERING AND SHUTTERING.

Providing and fixing steel shuttering for faces of concrete foundations, footings, strips, pedestals, foundation beam, plinth beams (vertical, or battering) and columns etc. Complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C.

Providing and fixing steel shuttering and centering for RCC columns (square or rectangular or polygonal in plain). Complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C.

Providing and fixing steel shuttering and centering for sides and soffits of beam, beams launchings girders bressumers, lintels etc. Complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C.

Providing and fixing steel shuttering and centering for flat surfaces such as suspended floors, roof, landings, chajjas, shelves, etc including risers. Complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C.

SUB HEAD - 3 CONCRETE WORK

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:5:10 using concrete mixture volumetric type with stone aggregate (1 cement: 5 coarse sand: 10 stone aggregate 40mm gauge) for all types of foundations, footings, below rafts, extension columns, plinth beams/under floor etc. including spreading, laying, ramming and consolidating as per requirements and curing etc. but excluding centering and shuttering, complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C. a) In foundations and plinth

Providing & laying Reinforced cement concrete M-25 mechanically mixed (In foundation and plinth) using batch type concrete mixture as per IS 1791 and vibrated by needle vibrator but excluding steel reinforcement, centering and shuttering, for all types of RCC works i.e. column, beams, slabs etc. as per structural drawings/ design including laying, spreading, ramming, watering, consolidating & curing etc., Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C..

Providing & laying Damp proof course 40m m thick with machine mixed PCC 1: 2: 4 with two coats of bitumen 25/85 penetration @ 1.65 kg per sqm laid hot and sanded bitumen to applied uniformly and after proper curing of concrete, complete in all respects.

Providing & laying 20 mm thick cement plaster in damp proof course 1:3 with two coats of bitumen @ 1.65Kg. Per sqm laid hot and sanded. Complete in all respects.

Providing and fixing/placing in position Ribbed/Tor/ T.M.T. Steel Bars, for R.C.C. works, where not including in the complete rate of R.C.C. included bending, binding and placing in position as per structural design/ drawing including cost of binding wire. Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

SUB HEAD-4 BRICK WORK

Providing & constructing Ist Class burnt brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) including scaffolding, watering, curing etc. complete in all respects, as directed by the E-in-C. a ) In foundation and plinth.

SUB HEAD -5 PLASTERING WORK

Providing and applying minimum 20 mm thick sand face plaster 12 mm thick in CM 1:4 and 8 mm thick C.M 1:2 at all levels laid in two coats to concrete or masonry surfaces and around openings in jambs and sills, including hacking of concrete surfaces, racking of joints, scaffolding, curing, making sharp and clear grooves, pattas, drip moulds, providing and fixing chicken mesh jali (22 gauge) at the junction of two different surfaces material component and at all levels and all heights as detailed in drawings as directed by Engineer in charge, etc. complete in all respects..

Providing and applying 20 mm Thick cement plaster in cement sand mortar 1:5(1cement:5 fine sand) in two coats to the walls, columns etc. including providing groove, drip course, scaffolding, finishing, curing etc. Complete in all respects for all heights as directed by the E-in-C.

Plastering on under side of ceiling 10mm thick cement plaster 1:4including saffolding, finishing, curing etc. Complete in all respects for all heights as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and fixing chicken mesh on brickwork and R.C.C. work junction made of galvanized low carbon wire, annealed wire of diameter 0.6 to 2.0 mm, distance between the faces of the hexagon 13 to50mm complete in all respects.

Providing surface treatment to externa/ internal walls with water resistant grade, anti fungal, antifoaming, high percentage acrylic binder washable surface with two coats to be provided with saptula over one coat cement primer including preparation of surface with water resistant grade match colour complete as per specifications and to the entire satisfaction of E-in-C.

Providing and fixing UNI- Brick tiles smooth size 230x40mm, 12mm thick ( Red color ) unistone or equvalent clading on walls ( design/ make tobe got approved before arranging) in specified pattern laid in 12.5mm thick cement sand mortor 1:3 ( 1 cement :3 sand) and jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles, including rubbing and polshing wherever required complete in all respects as driected by E-in-C.

SUB HEAD-6 ROOFING

Providing and laying Terracing to proper slope consisting of brick tiles 22.86cm x 11.43cm x 3.83cm laid over 25mm mud plaster, 75mm mud filling on another layer of 25mm mud plaster including two coats of bitumen grade 85/25 laid hot @ 1.65kg/M2 on top of RCC slab, including grouting with cement sand mortar 1:4 (1 cement:4 course sand) and top surface to be left clean after wire brushing etc. Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Extra for providing and applying flush cement pointing 1:2 (1cement: 2 sand) to tile terracing. Including curing etc. Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 gola 10cm. X10cm. concave quadrant along junction of roofs with parapet wall, finished smooth where specially specified, complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and constructing Bottom khurra on ground 1.2M x 0.6M consisting of brick on-edge laid in cement sand mortar 1:3 over 75mm cement concrete 1:8:16 including 12.5mm thick cement plaster 1:3 complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and constructing Top khurra 0.6M x 0.6M for Rain water pipe in 25mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 over 50mm thick cement concrete 1:8:16, complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and fixing 110 mm dia SWR U.P.V.C Rain water pipe (ring fitted type-A) as per IS:13592 including jointing during masonary complete as per specifications and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-incharge. (If fixed on wall face clamp to be paid separatly as per respective item)

Providing and fixing 110 mm dia SWR U.P.V.C bend for Rain water pipe as per IS:14735 including jointing complete as per specifications and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer- in- charge.

Providing and laying 2’-6’’ wide plinth protection consisting of 2’-3’’ wide brick on edge laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 on 75mm thick cement concrete 1:8:16 and 100mm thick sand filling and cement pointing 1:2 on top including excavation re-filling and disposal of surplus earth within campus.

SUB HEAD-7 FLOORING

Providing and laying vitrified tiles of Size 600 x 600 mm in flooring of light colour and shade ( to be got approved before arranging) made using Double Charge technology (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption’s less than 0.08% and conforming to IS : 15622 ( Make Kajaria /Johnson/Naveen diamond equivalent approved make ) in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement sand mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand), (Design is homogenous throughout the tile body). complete in all respects.

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS : 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacture of approved make in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of size 200 x 300 mm as approved by Engineer-in-Charge in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12 mm thick bed of cement Mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete in all respect as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and fixing kotah stone tile flooring 20mm to 30mm thick over 12.5mm thick base of cement mortor 1:3 laid and jointed with neat cement slurry, mixed with pigment to match the shade of stone, including rubbing nd polishing complete in all respects.

Providing and fixing all types of colour coated aluminium work for doors/ sliding, etc. windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate sections and other sections conforming to Is: 733 and IS : 1285 of Jindal, Hindalco, Mahavir or equivalent make approved by Engineer in Charge , fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips, or with expansion hold fasteners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC Plug/ neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitered and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/paneling, C.P.brass/stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-In- Charge

SUB HEAD-9 PUBLIC HEALTH ( WATER SUPPLY, SAINTRY AND DRAINAGE )

Providing and fixing SWR UPVC Floor traps conforming to I.S.I.14735 Specification of reputed firm of the self cleaning design with C.P. brass hinged grating with frame with or without vent arm and including cement concrete 1:2:4 under and around the floor trap where required upto floor level complete in all respects including cutting and making good the walls and floors,etc. minimum depth of water should be 150mm with a minimum seal 50mm. Excavation manually in trenches with straight or open cutting in built up street lane having wall to wall width of street /lane upto 3.0 metre, for intramural sullage drains, extramural intercepting drains and outfall drains, storm water channels and other work contingent or incident thereto, to full dimensions and depth as shown on the drawings or as shall be required by Engineer- in-chargeIncluding dressing to correct sections and dImensions according to templates and levels, dewatering of rain water, diversion of traffic. Providing and fixing and maintenance of caution boards, fencíng, night signals, for leads upto 15m and for all lifts and subsequent refilling,watering and dressing upto ground level, including removal of surplus soil from the site upto 15 metre distance complete in all respects
