SPL REPAIRS TO ROOF TREATMENT OF BLDG NO CC-163 (B MESS) OF AWC UNDER GE AWC MHOW

M&L Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4, in two layers (1st layer 10 mm thick rendering coat and 2nd layer 5 mm thick finishing coat) on brick work or concrete surfaces, second layer (finishing coat) mixed with liquid water proofing compound @ 200 ml / 50 Kg bag of cement as per manufacturer's instructions and finish the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement incl taking down old cement plaster of any description on brick or stone walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed and leaving the work clear of any plastering complete all as specified and directed. Note (i) :- (a) Liquid WPC will be measured and paid separately. (ii) For further details wrt to specifications & terms and conditions for this item pl refer MES SSR Pt-I (2009) & SSR Pt-II (2020)

Material & Labour for applying two or more coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm over new/old surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5 m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like, landings, chajjas, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including chamfered, weathering, throating etc. and set in cement mortar (1:4) slightly rounded or chamfered angles complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) The rates include for use of formwork (straight or curved). (b) Concrete items if so indicated, shall be reinforced. Reinforcement shall be measured separately.

S&F Mild steel framed works such as grills,gratings,etc, with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work for portions framed and hung as gates, including pintle hinges, stops, hand made sliding bolts, etc conforming to Fe 290 Gde -E-165 incl dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description complete all as specified and directed. (Note :-The rates include for riveting and/or welding as directed and fixing with screws, bolts, etc. complete)

S&F PVC (SWR) pipes 150mm bore single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to wall incl taking down of old eave gutters and rainwater pipes of any size or pattern including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc., including cleaning or refixing or removal to store complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Stack clamps made out of 50x5 mm flat iron, 16mm dia round iron stays including bolts & nuts and securing ends of stays to wall or roof for 150 mm PVC pipe complete all as specified and directed.

S&F PVC(SWR) bends, any radius of 150 mm bore without access door complete all as specified and directed.

S&F PVC(SWR) Tee of 150mm dia etc complete all as specified and directed.

The rates (from Sch Item- 14 to Item - 18) include for: (a) The measurement of pipes shall be net as fixed between the fittings including short lengths, without any allowance for cutting and waste or for the portions of pipes entering the sockets of the adjacent pipe or fitting. Fittings and accessories such as bends, branches, sockets etc.; shall be enumerated afterwards and measured separately. Rates include for all necessary extra joints, cutting and waste. (b) The rates include for supply of pipe nails, distance pieces, plugs, holder bats etc., and all jointing materials and also for all necessary cutting of pipes and jointing and fixing in position include subsidiary materials, mentioned above and pipes, fittings and accessories and also waste arising from cutting of pipes.

Demolition of reinforcement cement concrete above the ground floors n exc 15 cm thickness (Reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) such as parapets walls, chajjas etc and providing Reinforced cement concrete type B-1 1:2:4 (20 mm graded aggregate) with proper finishing complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Reinforcement shall be measured separately.

M&L for Pre-cast cement concrete 1:1.5:3, type A-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in window or door cills, lintels, bressumers, steps, quoin blocks (for use with masonry), string courses, copings. kneelers, apex stones, pier caps, columns, posts, boundary pillars, bed plates, pintle blocks, ancho-rage blocks, bonders (for stone walling). corbels, brackets, etc. (of any section indicated), with plain fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc. and setting in mortar complete with joints to match set in CM 1:4 incl demolition of old reinforcement cement concrete (Reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- (a) The rates include for the use of forms, moulds or machine moulds and setting the blocks, slabs, etc. complete including raking back the joints of the internal faces (at least 10 mm) for pointing as the work proceeds or finishing with neat flush joints. (b) Precast cement concrete item shall be reinforced, where indicated. Reinforcement shall be measured separately.)

M&L Mild Steel TMT bar 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire not less than 0.90mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) The rates include for fixing and for bracing, supporting or otherwise holding firmly in position so that the placing and ramming of concrete will not displace it. Rates also include for straightening where reinforcement is supplied in rolls/coils.

Disconnecting existing tanks capacity exc 250 Litre but n exc 500 Litre, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position complete all as specified and directed.

M & L PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) mixed with integral waterproofing chemical @ 200 ml per 50 Kg per cement, as in padding on roof surface for correcting / making proper slope on roof, and finishing the surfaces fair and even without using extra cement incl demolition of old unreinforced cement concrete padding complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Liquid WPC shall be measured and paid separately.)

M&L Water proofing treatment on "Non approachable / non accessible and approachable roof" surface (Horizontal & Vertical surfaces) in following sequence through manufacturer / authorized applicator of the manufacturer including taking down of existing roof treatment, properly cleaning & drying the concrete surfaces complete (i) After the plaster is cured, the roof will be tested for water tightness by ponding with water for 7 days for any seepage/ leakages etc without any price adjustment. If any seepage observed the rectification will be cariied out by pressure grouting under the pressure of 5 kg/sqcm using cement grout. After the surface is repaired the slab will be tested for water tightness again before proceeding with further treatment. (ii) The surface of roof, parapet and gutters, drain mouths etc over which waterproofing treatment is to be applied shall be cleaned of all foreign matter such as fungus, moss, dust etc by wire brushing and dusting. Concrete angle fillets shall be provided at junctions between roofs and vertical faces of walls (parapet and other walls), around obstacles such as pipes, chimney stacks, etc and other similar situation to ease up about corners. (iii) Bituminous based primer conforming to IS : 3384-1965 @ 0.3 kg/sqm to be applied on prepared surface, till the surface is properly impregnated. (iv) Hot blown grade 85/25 bitumen as per IS : 702-1988 @ 1.2 kg/sqm will be applied over primer. (v) Laying evenly over the bitumen coated surface, APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (wt. not less than 150 gms/sqm) land on primed surface by torch on method complete all as specified. (iv) Applying two coats of bituminous aluminium paint over the APP membrane complete all as specified and directed.

The rates (from Sch Item- 01 to Item - 18) include for: (a) Use of all scaffoldings and cradles including hoisting and lowering. (b) Work in patches (over one square metre each) including matching with existing work and marrying in at the edges. (c) Removing all splashes, drops, dirt, etc. and leaving premises in a clean state.

Supply only water proofing compound (liquid), ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Removing building materials etc. to a distance of 400 m to 500 m, including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Removal is to be done by the shortest practicable route and measurement shall be made accordingly, irrespective of the route actually taken. No additional price shall be allowed for roads in bad repairs, gradients or removal over unconsolidated ground.
