Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance exc. 1.50km but n exc. 5km and depositing where directed complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Plain Cement Concrete 1:2:4 type B2 (40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Formwork to faces of walls, abutments, parapets and staircases railings and similar work including attached pillasters, battresses etc vertical or to batter rough finished, flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F High strength corrosion resistant TMTsteel bars of Grade Fe–500 of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified.

M&L cement concrete type B2 1:2:4 (40 mm graded stone aggregate for surface channel and drains complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Brickwork with fly ash bricks using modular bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cm 1:4, complete all as specified and as directed

M&L Plain Cement Concrete 1 : 2: 4, Type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) for coping including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,with first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L reinforced precast cement concrete 1:2:4, Type B–1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs [for manholes etc], chullah hoods, Chajjas, water troughs, mangers, Shelves and similar articles with plain faces including formwork, set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Hardcore with broken stone or boulders of gauge n.exc 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n.exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Plain Cement Concrete work in pavement/hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/square centimetre, in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling/taking down old existing damaged cement plaster, loose/ unsound weaken cement concrete of any description and in any position from external / internal surface of RCC roof/ slab/ beams/ columns/ RCC facias for an average depth of 25mm (Approx height 7.5m from natural ground level) with power driven pneumatic flat/pointed chisel and removing the honeycombed area including all the corners and making a neat profile of the cavities, roughen the smooth surface, scrapping out/removing corrosion all loose/scale/rust etc from the visible reinforcement by applying. Geopolymer based Geo Krete-VR of Make eco materials or equivalent in FOSROC chemicals/ Tiki Tar/ M/s STP limited (as approved by GE) over the existing damaged surface including mixing mortar with recommended water cement ratio and levelled the surface to match with existing surface all as per manufacturer's instructions as specified and directed. Note:-The geo polymer based water impermeable ceiling and vertical surface repair mortar shall have compressive strength of 10 Mpa in 3 hours and 35 Mpa in 28 days without any water curing and curing compounds having a water penetration of less than 3mm when tested as per DIN 1048 and RCPT value of less than 900 coloumbs when tested as per ASTM C 1202.

Note for item No 17 :- The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quote rate for the above item :-

(a) Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing unserviceable materials outside MD land and leaving the work clear of any plastering or Racking out joint/pointing to stone masonry, coursed or uncoursed in wall complete all as specified and directed. The unit rate is deemed to be included this provision also.

(b) Surface preparation such as creating mechanical key like roughning the surface by scrubbing, grit blasting and cleaning the existing surface using high pressure water jet machine having pressure up-to 500 to remove the dirt, dust, loose particles, wax, efforencence and other contaminations from the surface of RCC columns/beams/slabs/ facia/any brick/stone surfaces etc all as manufactures and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The unit rate is deemed to be included.

(c) Providing, fixing and erecting scaffolding in double face structure, as required along with approach system for the repairs / plastering of the buildings to facilitate execution of all items of works,complete with necessary support, propping system etc for external repair. The unit rate is deemed to be included this provision also.

(d) Material shall be procured from the authorised manufacturer only.

(e) The work shall be carried out through authorised and qualified applicators of the manufacturer only.

M&L PCC 1:2:4 ,Type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Vitreous china wash down water closet pan (pedestal pattern), white (exluding fixing bolts, flushing cistren and flushpipe) and including seat cover for pedestal pattern fixed complete all as specified and directed

M&L Joint free Non Skid Ceramic Tiles 7 to 8 mm thick [Square or Rectangular] Coloured, area of each tile exceeding 0.06 Sq.m and not exceeding 0.18 Sq.m, as in Floors etc, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including screed bed or bedding layer,15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

Note for item No 31 :- (a) The unit rate shall include connecting to existing GI pipe and with all fittings as directed.

Demolition of brick work masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC in foundation filling and mass concrete type D-2, 1:4:8, using 40mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 100 mm thick Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate ) as in sub base , filling and mass concrete for receiving tiles/ surface channels and drains etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cmx30cmx25mm thick machine pressed set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry as in floors and cut and polished using grey cement and pigments over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed. Note : The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation/fixing.

Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to out side the MoD land and providing following :- (a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/roof tiles on roof including removing debris to out side MD land as directed. (b) Bring upto the slope by providing filling of light weight materials such as cinder, light weight concrete etc as required, and then providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 of average thickness of 50mm. (c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement. (d) Apply a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384@ 0.4 ltr/Sqm on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and dried. (e) After the primed surface has dried, apply a coat of hot blown bitumen(85/25 penetration) confirming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm of the surface. (f) Providing APP modified water proofing as approved by GE weighing not less than 4kg per sqm unrolled over the bituminous coated surface with 100mm over laps, the overlap shall be sealed by flame as per manufacture instructions complete. (g) Over the APP membrane, apply evenly a tack coat of hot air blown bitumen of grade 85/25 at the rate of 1.20 kg per sqm including cleaning of surface. (h) Applying a coat of aluminium paint at the rate of 100 gm per sqm as per manufacture instruuction over bituminous layer complete all as directed. Note : (i) Care shall be taken to avoid wrinkle and air gaps while sticking membrane to the bitumen applied surface.

M&L Rendering 10 mm thick on brick or stone or concrete surfaces, in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Rotational moulded polythene water storage tank of 1000 Ltrs capacity (three layer white colour) cylinderical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 25mm bore for inlet and outlet, 25mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR part -I complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Providing and fixing Gypsum Board 12mm thick in ceiling fixed on Gl frame work for seamless ceiling comprising of Gl perimeter channel 0.55 mm thick with two unequal flanges of 20 and 30 mm and web of 27 mm fixed to surrounding wall using nylon sleeves and screws at 450 mm centre to centre/intermediate channel 0.9 mm thick having two equal flanges of 15 mm each and web of 45 mm suspended from soffit at approx. 900 mm centre to centre with Gl cleat and steel expansion fasteners with and including ceiling section,not exc 1.2 m c/c of 0.55 mm thickness having kurled web of 50 mm and flange of 26 mm each with lips of 10.5 mm fixed to the intermediate channel with connecting clips across the intermediate channel at 457 mm centre to centre. The Gypsum board ceiling shall be treated with two coats of Oil bound distemper over one coat of 3mm thick putty complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down Chowkats or frames with shutters (Without taking off shutters from the frames) exceeding 1.5 Sqm each but n exc 4 sqm each complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Factory made UPVC three track sliding Window frame having 2 tracks for glass shutter and 1 track for mosquito sash made of upvc profile section of size 73mm x 42mm (wxh) having outer wall thickness of 2.0mm(+/-0.2mm). Sliding glass shutter shall be made of UPVC section of size 55mm x 33mm and sliding wire mesh shutter shall be made of UPVC section of size 40mm x 22mm. All section of the frame, sash, transom & mullion, as applicable, shall be duly reinforced with G/J/U/O shape galvanised mild steel section of required thickness considering structural / wind load requirement. System shall be provided with the suitable upvc bead for glazing of the system & fitted with inner & outer EPDM seal gaskets. Clear Glass of Saint Gobain / Modiguard make with thickness of 4mm and stainless steel wire cloth of 0.19mm nominal dia. All welded joints are to be neatly trimmed & feature grooved/raised nib finish so as to make the finished product free from all sharp edges & burrs. All the corner / mullion / transom joints of the frame and sash shall be mitered cut & fusion welded without any mechanical joining. System shall have adequate drainage mechanism to permit the escape of water from horizontal member beneath each sealed unit. System is to be provided with proper operating & locking hardware mechanism. Window locking system will be either both side push lock system or semi-circle locking system in centre. Complete window shall be fixed in to the existing pre finished aperture, by drilling and fixing through the outer frame using quality fasteners & silicon glue is applied to fill up the crevice between wall and window frame for leak proof installation complete all as specified. Note: - The contractor will have to submit 5 years warranty certificate for upvc profile and 1 year warranty certificate for hardwares.

S&F Framed work such as grills , grating ,etc with ends of bars shouldered and or reveted for forged in to spike, framed guard bars barred iron doors, ladders, balusters, walk ways raling framed work for water tanks similar work confirming to Fe -290 Gde E-165

M&L Granite work (of any type) 18 to 20mm thick (table rubbed and polished including round edge) in steps, jambs, pillars, windowcills, cooking platforms, wash basin platform and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with granite shade over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Powder coated aluminium frame for doors, windows, ventilators with one or more rebates including joining cleat etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: Minimum thickness of powder coating shall be 50 micron.

Water absorption of tiles shall be less than 0.5% and flexural strength (Modulus of Rupture) shall be more than 35 N/Sqmm. (b) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

S&F 12mm thick toughened glass frameless partition, with a provision of doors ( swing and sliding type) with all necessary to patch fittings and bottom insert like corner connection and side connector and bottom insert to the floor about 15 to 30mm or with aluminium profile 12mm depth complete all as specified and as directed. Preparation of old plastered surface of wall including removing existing treatment completely and applying two coats of wall care putty to achieve smooth surface of wall with two coats of oil bound distemper by roller application complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Cost of scaffolding required deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (ii) Work will be carried out through authorised applicator/agency of approved manufacturer.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down unserviceable earthing all as specified and directed. The unit quoted rate shall deem to be included for the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for guidance only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(vi) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(vii) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(viii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is mainained.

(ix) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing per each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor for the guarantee period.

(x) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH valve should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(xi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm should be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip will be measured and paid separately).

(xii) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xiii) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xiv) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xv) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material.

(xvi) Sign board of mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(xix) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concern.

S&F Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc all as directed. Note : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.
