(k) Existing Pit depth : 1600 mm . (Existing Pit Depth is meeting the requirements of NBC , IS Codes and West Bengal Lift Rules. However if any modification is still required as per manufacturers recommendation the same shall be carriried out by Contractor without any extra cost to the Department) . Pit depth and overhead shall be such as to conform to the requirements of bottom clearance and top clearance as specified in IS: 14665.
(l) Head Room : As per existing site.
(m) Power supply : 415 volts Three-Phase, 50 Cycles AC. The entire lift equipment shall be suitable for operation at +10% to - 20% of rated supply voltage.
(n) Auxiliary supply : 220 volts Single-Phase, 50 Cycles AC.
(o) Earth connection : All new Earthing Points and Earth Contunity strips, connections Conductors shall be provided as per NBC, National Electrical Code and Code of Practices for Earhing. The cost of earthing and connected items shall be paid separaty under respective item of work in schedule.
(p) Car Enclosure : Stainless Steel (Hairline) mirror finish body of car having minimum thickness of SS Sheet as 1.5 mm incl recessed LED light, false ceiling, as per NBC or other relevant BIS code.
(q) Car Size : As per NBC 2016 or other relevant BIS code of latest edition..
(r) Flooring : 18-20mm thick granite flooring.

(ad) Emergency Automatic Rescue Device (ARD) with suitable capacity maintenance free battery shall be provided for elevation of passengers trapped in lift car during power failure between floors .The ARD shall work for 3 phase and single phase failure.
(ae) Overload Protection Device, Load Weighing Device(LWD)/OSG (overspeed governors) Electronic switch shall be provided.
(af) Voice announcement system in the car shall be provided to announce the position of the elevator in the hoistway as the car passes or, stops at a floor served by the elevator.
(ag) Micro- Stroke illuminated push buttons shall be provided.
(ah) All landing door shall be one hour fire rated.
(aj) Car door lock shall be provided.
(ak) Auto drive recall, Automatic Fan & light switching off arrangements shall be provided.
(al) Hand Rails : Stainless steel mirror finish handrails on rear sides in car panels. Full height and full width mirror finished stainless steel (1.5mm) panel to be provided on all side above hand rails.

(av) Ventilation : High powered axial flow fan with suitable air throw of 600 CFM through a duct all around the car so that uniform air flow shall be available at all side of the car.
Notes
(A) The system (Lift) shall be guaranteed against maintenance and repair including spares for a period of two year from the certified date of completion of this contract and the cost of these shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted against the lifts . The lump sum cost of above lift shall be deemed to include cost of comprehensive maintenance in defect liability period of all the lifts provided by the contractor under this contract for a period of two year from the certified date of completion of the work of phase-I. For this, a sum of ₹ 2,00,000.00 (Rupees two Lakh only) shall be retained from the final bill of this contract till satisfactory completion of the two-year comprehensive maintenance period of lifts as certified by the GE. The amount so retained shall be released by the GE after expiry of satisfactory comprehensive maintenance in defect liability period of two years. | - | - | - | - |

(B) The taking down of existing service lift with electrical components ,mechanical components and civil components and stacking neatly all retrieved components in presence of BOO and all material shall be deposit to MES store and making good the disturbed existing surface in machine room & well if required. The cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted and nothing will be paid on this account.
(C) The bidder/ tenderer shall be advised to visit existing lifts, lifts well, machine room at site, before quoting his offer and nothing will be paid on this account.
(D) The quoted rate shall deemed to include the cost of minor civil works, MS Beam, MS rail with fixing arrangement including making good to the disturbed surface to match with the existing and if required scaffolding in lift shaft / lift well shall also included quoted rate.
(E) The lifts shall comprise of all latest fail safe measures as specified in relevant IS Codes (IS-14665 of 2015: Part —I, IS-14665 of 2009: Part —V, IS-4591 of 2012, IS-15785 of 2007) and National Building Code – 2016 Section-5 part-8 as revised from time to time.
(F) The wiring of lift shall be with copper conductor, stranded, ISI marked of suitable size. The wiring in the lift well shall be in MS conduit, ISI marked medium grade of suitable size. Suitable sockets/lights shall be provided as directed in the lift shaft.
(G) If anything missed above but is technically required for efficient working of the lift is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
(H) Instruction shall be provided by the manufacturer inside and outside the car. The instructions shall be written on a metallic sheet with embossed letters matching with car decor/outside decor all as directed.
(I) A board depicting manual rescue procedure to be provided at location as directed.
(J) The comprehensive maintenance of lift shall be executed through OEMs or their accredited/ authorized agencies.
(K) The contractor shall submit MOU with the OEMs or their accredited/ authorized agencies for comprehensive maintenance of defect liability period of Phase-I after one month of date of commencement of Phase-I.
(L) The contractor shall submit MOU with the OEMs or their accredited/ authorized agencies for 05 years comprehensive maintenance of Phase-II before completion of Phase-I.
(M) The quoted rate is deemed to include the above provisions as specified above. | - | - | - | - |
