REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF UNSERVICEABLE STREET LIGHTS, PERIMETER LIGHTING, POST TOP LAMPS, GARDEN LIGHTS AND OTHER E/M REPAIRS UNDER AGE E/M NO-1 AT GE (I) R AND D KANCHANBAGH, HYDERABAD

Repair / maintenance of internal/ Building light fittings/ street lights/ security lights of any type like tube lights / wall bracket light fittings / ceiling lights / mirror lights/ high& Medium bay lights in its position, testing all the component's / parts, wiring etc, identifying and replacing the defective components like, LED tube, driver, fixtures, holders, bulbs etc all as directed. Note: (i) The rate against the above mentioned item is deemed for cost of labour only. (ii) Cost of spares like, capacitor, lamp holder, connector, connection wire, LED tube, Bulbs etc, replaced against above mentioned item will be measured & paid for separately under respective items of Sch 'A' here-in-below. (iii) The contractor's representative will report to concerned JE E/M at 0900hrs daily to collect the list of defective lights fittings and will submit the completion report as per complaints received on the same day before 1730hrs to the JE E/M.

(iv) The contractor has to rectify the defects / repair and make the street light functional within 24 hours from the time the list of defective street lights is handed over to him / his rep by the concerned JE E/M. In case the street light is not made functional for whatsoever reason within the specified time limit, an amount of Rs 150/- per such defective street light per day will be recovered from the amount due to him through RAR / Final Bill. The contractor shall carry out repair / maint work simultaneously for different areas by engaging seperate team of electricians / technicians for DRDO Qtrs area DMRL area & DLRL area in order to ensure prompt & timely rectification of defects. (v) Contractor shall arrange requisite and cost sufficient number of transport and vehicle mounted hydraulic ladder at his own cost wherever required. (vi) The contractor shall maintain proper record of repair / maintenance in a binded register duly bringing out the details of spares replaced on each and every street light and get it authenticated from concerned JE E/M on daily basis. The contractor shall put up the maintenance record register to Engineer-in-charge for inspection on every Monday or as and when asked for. (vii) The contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety of his men engaged for executing this work and he will provide all requisite safety equipments and department shall not be responsible for any kind of mishap / accident / injury to workmen.

S&F in repair GI pipe bracket, made out of 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe, fabricated into shape and size as required, not less than 1.2 metre long complete with 02 Nos. MS clamp of MS flat iron 40 x 6 mm with bolts, nuts and washer complete all fixed on poles/walls as directed.

All as per item No. 2 above but made out of 25mm bore pipe.

Supply only 2 core, 4 sqmm LT 1100 volts grade, PVC insulated and PVC sheathed, solid aluminium conductor cable, flat type, 1100 volt in service connections etc all as directed.

Supply only 2 core, 6 sqmm LT 1100 volts grade, PVC insulated and PVC sheathed, solid aluminium conductor cable, flat type, 1100 volt in service connections etc all as directed.

Supply only 2 core, 10sqmm LT 1100 volts grade , PVC insulated and PVC sheathed, solid aluminium conductor cable, flat type, 1100 volt in service connections etc all as directed.

Cutting/ trimming / pruning tree branches overhanging or interfering or obstructing electrical pole or street lights LT panel board/ LT over head lines in such a way that the clearance between LT panel board/ LT over head lines Street light pole and tree branches should not be less than 3 mtrs around the Pole/LT over head line complete all as directed. Note: 1. Quoted rate is deemed to include necessary hydraulic ladder arrangement and tree cutting machine and tools required at site. 2. One span shall be 35RM towards LT over head lines.

Material & labour for Unbinding ACSR conductor and insulators from the poles and restretching/restringing & fixing the same ACSR conductor of any size on same poles and binding the same with & including the new 2mm dia aluminium binding wire and making/tightening of jumpers at appropriate place to ACSR conductor complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note :- Four conductors between poles shall be considered as one length. Distance between pole to pole shall be considered as length of wires for the purpose of payment.

Material and Labour for cutting existing BT road/PCC of size 45cm x 60cm for taking out/laying of underground cable and including necessary earth work and refilling the same in layers well ramming including watering as required and matching with the existing surface with 200mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 and curing the same with wet gunny bags and removing debris to a distance not less than 50m complete all as specified and directed

M&L for writing the pole number on the LT/Street Light pole in circular shape with black synthetic enamel paint background and white synthetic enamel painted letters. Note:- The numbers and words shall be all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

S&F retro reflective tape strips of red,white and yellow of 2 inch width fixed to Street light Poles as directed. Note:Three strip (One strip of red, white & Yelow) round the pole will be measured as one job.. Make: 3M/ DURASTRIP/ EURO

M&L for cleaning the poles of 9/11 mtrs long of any description thoroughly with necessary cleaning agent including scrapping up of old corroded paint dirt/dust/rust carefully and applying two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer including white wash to the coping and complete all as directed.
